Monster Integration

3281 Awake

‘I have found it, Father,’ said Nero and a smile appeared on my face.

The sky had darkened, and soon the energy would appear; while with current power, I will be able to bear it for a while before it becomes dense enough.

It will be dangerous if I didn’t find a place to spend the night.

The energy is dangerous; what is even more dangerous is the monsters that roamed in it. They are powerful enough to tear me apart while I stay helplessly powerlessly against them.

It is wet and humid, but it didn’t matter. I will be in the abode and it will be big, as the space Nero had found is quite big.

It took me a few minutes for me to reach it. As I did, I had immediately taken out an abode, which fit perfectly in the space I am.

With a smile, I entered the room. Nero didn’t follow me. Instead, he went up. I am worried, but also happy and also feel pity for Grimms, who is going to die in the night.

Even before leveling up, Nero was trouble for the Grimms, but now, he will become their nightmare.

I am just happy thinking about the number of storage; I am going to have in the morning.

As level up, not only comes strength but also speed. He will be able to cover a large area through the night, which means there will be more Grimms that will die and more storage, I will get.

It took cold water off the shower to calm my emotions; it felt wonderful, and I stayed there for more than half an hour, before coming out.

I dried myself and changed into a comfortable cloth, before walking into the kitchen. Once again, I started to feel excited; I have prime meat and I am going to cook it now.

I took out a couple of things, including a round burner, which had two horns fixed inside.

It is a new cooking instrument forged by my clone; it is temporary. As I had still not gained the skill to forge something good, despite becoming a Grade 3 Artificer.

The red horns inside the instrument belong to the bull I had killed in the morning. It is turned out they can produce optimal cooking fire, better than my own fire or any fire and crystal I have.

I didn’t waste any time and started.

I cooked with a smile on my face, forgetting everything I had experienced. The stress left me slowly and calmness filled my heart.

Cooking always helps; it is such a regret that despite having six clones and time dilation in my core, I couldn’t give the culinary time it deserves. It became even more apparent after I started artificing.

I could do nothing about it, as there are too many things for me to do.

Still, I am improving my culinary skill slowly. It turned out like alchemy. The artifice could also help me improve my culinary skill; my control has become much better, and so have my skills.

I have a dream to forge an abode. Design every little thing there, including a grand kitchen.

I nearly have the most important thing for it. A natural spatial seed: which is much better and has greater potential than an artificial spatial seed. In it, I could do things that I couldn’t with natural spatial seed.

If it had before, I received Artificers’ legacy, I would have started on it already, but now I didn’t.ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom

I do not have enough skills and knowledge; the impartation has given me a lot of knowledge, but I don’t want to be limited to that. Thankfully, I have an entire library full of knowledge.

I am going to use it, while slowly practicing my way to Grade 4 artificer, and only then I would start working on my dream abode.

A little more than one and a half hours passed when I finally finished, and the dinner was smelling heavenly.

I put it all on the table when I suddenly froze before a smile lit up on my face.

“Are you conscious enough to join me for dinner?” I asked Ashlyn, who had finally woken up.

Chew Chew!

She chirped excitedly as she appeared in front of me.

“Let me serve you,” I said and energy strings move to serve her the place. Usually, I like to use my hands, but she might fall asleep at the next moment.

She had fallen asleep on the dinner plate many times.

So, I want her to have as much as food she could before she falls asleep again.

“Let’s eat,” I said, and we dug in.

A few seconds later, an unconscious voice came out of my mouth. It is too delicious, better than I had thought I could.

‘It is you who wanted to spend a night out,’ I said to Nero, who projected hunger from the distance. Though he did not come back and instead moved toward the closest Grimm.

“How are you feeling?” I asked her, as I served her second.

Chew Chew!

She replied before resuming eating. She said she is feeling good and loved the dinner.

“I am glad,” I said and ate while asking her questions now and then.

Soon, we finished the dinner and to my surprise, Ashlyn did not fall asleep.

I took the little bird in my hand and sat on the couch. Talking to her, while petting her gently, the way she liked.

I did not care about the practice or other things I have to do. All I care about is spending time with her before she fell into sleep again.

She did that, but a lot later than I had thought. She had stayed awake for nearly three hours and watched her favorite movie before falling asleep.

“Good night,” I said to her and sent her into the core before focusing on the tasks.
