3225 Red Hunter of Alkaz

“Fucking hell!” I cursed as I come back to consciousness. My head is hurting so bad, that I couldn’t even think.

The pain was so great that shuddered to my very core thinking about it. The pain had gravity, the weight I had never felt before.

It felt like it was beyond the simple pain.

Hun!

I was collecting my thoughts when I sensed something and immediately my blurry eyes went wide. The thing I saw after scared me so much that I immediately moved from my place, avoiding the killing rift that would have divided me into two.

There are rifts everywhere around me, hundreds of them.

I saw also the ground is shaking wildly, and the bloody dome is also cracking apart. I don’t know how I didn’t sense it the moment I had woken up.

BANG BANG BANG

I had noticed something in one of the rifts and was looking at me, when I heard the loud sounds, one after another.

Everything is breaking, including the statue, which now became solid, from the translucent state it was in before.

‘I have to get out here,’ I said as I looked around me. The whole world is breaking apart and if I did not leave soon. It will take me with it.

‘Where is the exit you had promised?’ I asked the being. Technically, the being promised nothing, but it had implied in its words, and I want to hold it to that.

There was no reply, and the conditions were getting worse.

I looked at rifts and most are common; the big ones have connections to different places. It is very dangerous to travel through, but with being not replying, these rifts seemed to be the only thought that could take me out of here.

Hun!

I contacted my clones to find the safest when I realized I couldn’t contact them at all. I tried again, but it failed.

I tried for the core and could not enter inside.

“Fuck!” I cursed. It seemed like I will have to find the best rift myself.

With the speed, this place is getting destroyed. I do not have the luxury to think. I need to quickly choose one and enter, otherwise, I will be buried in this place.

I looked around, and one rift attracted my gaze. Immediately, I moved toward it.

BANG!

I was moving toward it when a piece of statue fall in front of me. I don’t know what came to me, but I touched it and the next moment, it disappeared into my storage ring.

It couldn’t help but surprise me. I truly did not think I would be able to take it into my storage. I thought that strong wrongness in it would resist, but the wrongness had disappeared and so was its resistance.

I don’t know whether it would be useful to me, and I will find out if I survive in this place.

I reached the rift; it is showing a lake and forest. There is no exact reason for me to choose it, other than liking the scenery.

As I appeared in front of it. I stepped inside.

Immediately, everything went blank again.

“What a true disaster. A shame, to be honest, there were thousands of sacrificial temples in our world, and we did not discover them.”

“They were even running hundreds of sacrifices every day,” said the man, before shaking his head.

Just a few minutes ago, they have sensed the energies from hundreds of temples across the world. Every Prime Organization alerted and sent their members; there are going to be a lot of deaths in the next few days.

“My lord, we will not let go of bastards who had done this,” said the young man with a mane of white hair.ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom

“Punish them hard, make an example. That nobody would even think about doing such a thing again,” said the old man softly, but his voice rang into the large hall.

“It will happen, my lord,” said the young man and disappeared.

….

The pain that seemed to burn the self suddenly started to lessen, and after a few seconds, disappeared.

It took a couple of seconds before I was able to get calm enough to think.

I looked around and what I saw couldn’t help but shock me. I am rubble, the indestructible tower, on which I couldn’t even make a scratch with my most powerful attack lying in the pieces.

In the pieces are people, all of them are alive and started to move.

‘I need to get out of here,’ I thought and immediately got up. This time, there was not the slightest resistance.

In just an hour, things have changed. My whole life had changed from a council member of a powerful Earth Sovereign organization to a fugitive.

I need to run away from here; I am sure the hunters from the Prime Organization would descend soon. Earth Sovereigns, Sky Sovereigns, even Prime might come; they are a terror that a simple look from them would wipe me out from the face of the world.

I didn’t think I would fail, but I had prepared for it. I have created a safe space that even Prime wouldn’t be able to find me once I am there.

Then I would need to remain there for a century or two and then, I could come out. It will be hard to live in this world, but I have some ways.

I spread my soul sense, and seeing there is no one beside us at twelve. I took the air.

I do not care about the others. We were people partnered for the benefits. Now that benefit is destroyed, there is no need to be together.

I really hope they all escape safely.

Not because I care about them, but because it will spread the resources of those hunting us. It will make hiding easier.

BANNNNG!

I had just reached the top and was about to escape from the cavern when suddenly I felt immense pressure on me and fell down hard.

“Ahhhhhhhh…!”

I screamed as every bone of my body broke and more are breaking, along with my soul. Making me scream like a pig.

“Grenam, careful. We don’t want to give him a simple death. After what he had done,” said the voice, and a moment later, seven people materialized in the air.

Dread and horror appeared in my heart as I looked at the seven. Especially the amber skin woman leading them; I heard about her.

A Sky Sovereign; the red hunter of Alkaz.

It is her job to hunt people like him and what they do after is bad. That I activated a tiny formation on my core; it is better to die than get caught by these people.

As what will happen next would be worse than death.

“You think we will let you die easily after the sin you have committed,” said the amber skin woman, and I felt the formation disappearing.

She destroyed the formation without me even sensing it.

“You all have committed the forbidden sin and for it, you all deserve to rot in Alkaz,” she said, and everything in front of me turned dark.

I wallowed in horror as from now on, every moment of my life was going to be torturous.
