Monster Integration

3112 Gate-Breaking

I stopped my breath and contained my energy as much as I could while melding with the surrounding environment.

This is the greatest test; my stealth method is facing since I have come to this world. I hope I passed, or I will be fucked.

I was hiding in the bushes, while I watched the group of twenty-one monsters passed by me through Nero’s eyes. These amethyst tusk hogs are dangerous, just a minute ago, I had seen them tearing through the Bull within a second.

I wouldn’t have been this scared. If their number had been few, but there are over twenty of them, all of them being at Primary-III.

Four are even at the Peak of Primary III.

Every second is feeling like an hour as the monsters roam around me. Some have even eaten from the bushes under which I am hiding, unable to discover me.

My stealth method is quite good, even in this powerful world. I have made it to compete against the best inheritances and bloodlines of my friends. Which made it much better than any stealth method I have seen so far.

A few minutes passed, and the hogs begin to leave the area, but the bastards were too slow. I had to wait for eight minutes before I could come out.

“Fuck, that was hard,” I said cursing. I really thought those Hogs might discover me, and I will have to run like mad.

I took a deep breath to calm my emotions before resuming my journey.

It had been nineteen hours since I have come to the Banzar valley. A day since I had spent the night hiding in an abandoned building.

The nights here are very dangerous here, more than in the unknown area I had ended up in. The energy had thickened a lot, and the gravity increased, but the monster was dangerous things were still a monster.

Nero had sensed the aura of the Sovereign monster.

In these nineteen hours, I had gone to a few abandoned buildings but did not find anything worthwhile.

Though, I am not sad. The herbal resources I am finding are more than making up for it. Even so, there is a longing in my heart. I want to explore something exciting, something dangerous.

I pushed those thoughts away. Such thoughts are dangerous, they kill people.

I continued walking toward the path that Nero had charted, collecting herbs and plants on the way. Every few minutes, I would pause to collect the plants and herbs before continuing my journey.

I was walking when I my head toward the left while walking straight. If I concentrate, I could hear the sounds of fighting.

There are two people fighting. It seemed like a robbing situation. Thanks to Nero, I could avoid the people, there are many people in the vast area, but I was able to avoid all of them.

I do not need people. I am alone is fine.

Hun!

A few hours passed and when an imagined in front of me. Everything turned blue in front of me, with a big triangular building in a grey shape. It stayed for a few seconds before it disappeared while my vision cleared.

‘Dig the way,’ I said to Nero.

What he had shown me just now is his underground vision. He could look far deeper than what sound sense infused with forbidden power could.

It was not the first building he had found underground. He had found several of them, with the latest one being three hours ago. It had turned out to be a total waste as it had spatially enhanced space, that had been totally collapsed.

I had wasted nearly an hour on it and got nothing in return.ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom

Still, I will not stop, I am sure. One of these times, I am going to get lucky and get a fortune.

It took me twenty-minute to reach the place before I walked into the dense bushes and crawled into the tunnel that Nero had made. With all these practices, he had become quite good at digging them.

It took me a little over two minutes before I have reached where Nero is.

I got into a big hole at the end, and in front of me was a door. A door made of white stone. What made me happy, like most collapsed buildings, it is not connected to the central grid.

Still, that does not mean I would be able to open it.

I would have to see what kind of power it had before even breaking the formation. Because I only have ink at the level of Primary III. If the runes possess the power of Sovereign.

Then, even if I have the skill to break the formation. I wouldn’t be able to do it, as I did not have the power.

“Father, it’s power below the Sovereign grade. The ink you had created will be able to break through the formation on the door,” said Nero when I was about to use the method to sense its power.

“Well then, I will have to see the formation,” I said with a smile and without asking, Nero’s eyes lit up.

A moment later, a formation appeared.

I had a method to see it from the door, but Nero is making things quite easier. Now, I only need to solve the formation to open the door.

‘That would not be easy,’ I said in surprise as I studied the formation. This is the hardest formation I had seen in this ruin, even all ruins when I think about it. It is multilayered with such complexity that I had only seen in books in the library.

It couldn’t help but make me excited.

I copied the formation and sat down before closing my eyes. A moment later, I entered my core and walked into the library. My four clones had already stopped what they were doing and begin working on breaking the formation.

I joined them on a large round table.

While I would have very much liked to break the formation on my own. I couldn’t waste too much time on that.

Time is precious in this room, and I will need to use every minute wisely if I want to find the chance and accumulate a fortune.

With the four clones, it had become easy. We are solving one layer after another at an amazing speed. That even I got surprised by it, despite knowing their capabilities.

As five of us could think of five different ways at the same time.

Still, it took me ten and a half hours to solve the formation. A little over five hours outside.

I succeeded, and now it is time to open the gate.

I waved my hand, and the formation came out and flew toward the gate.

I really hope the gates have something, at least let me even out the cost of ink. Making the ink cost a fortune, as it does not come without failed attempts. Though, I am getting better.

Buzz!

The formation stuck in the door while I watched with bated breath. Three seconds later, the runes lit up, and I heard that wonderful sound that told me it worked.
