Chapter 2071: Red Demon Locust Orcs -Part 1

Chapter 2071: Red Demon Locust Orcs -Part 1

The Pandarian Guards did not give a shit about the recent guest that came into their village since their hands were full with all the defending against those scummy Locust Orcs who decided to eliminate the entire village just by existing.

The guards could only assume that they were already nearby the village and it was only when Jin and Captain Hei were in a fight between each other that The Locust Orcs finally knew where to go.

And judging by the amount of spiritual power that had been clashing in that area, the Pandarians and even Captain Hei had believed that the Orcs had decided to play safe by getting more of their brethren to come as backup.

But the Pandarian Guards could not believe the number that was present just to win against them. All they could do was kill the Locust Orc that was right in front of them and nothing else. Jin, on the other hand, who had relayed the information to his group, made his way to where he had come from.

If he needs to kill a bunch of Locust Orcs on the way to make sure that he can reach his destination, he would obviously do that. But at the same time, he also needed to make sure his Pandarians would still be alive or else, it was all for naught.

Hence, Jin decided to utilise and reveal his magical powers even though he wished to keep them when he fought the elder. A strong magical bolt popped out of Jin's fingers as it slowly rose to a certain height, killing any Locust Orcs that were in its way if they were foolish enough to ignore it.

However, the main purpose of that magical bolt was not to kill but to be deployed as a barrier. Yes, Jin had created the very same isolation barrier that he had used against the demons and his surrounding neighbours.

Thus, the Locust Orcs who had been caught in the deployment of the isolation barrier were instantly cut into two, while separating the majority of the Locust Orcs that were attempting to come in.

He was not sure how powerful his barrier could hold because unlike the isolation barrier that he had created for Ress, this was haphazardly made and it was not reinforced on a daily basis to ensure that the barrier can hold against the attacks of the demons if they come knocking.

These Red Demon Locust Orcs were at least Rank A and they will relentlessly attack the barrier until it is broken. But if there was any consolation, the Pandarian Guards could be given a slight breather as they tried to eliminate any remaining Locust Orcs that were within the area.

At this time, even the Village Elder Bai had come out, doing just a gentle taichi move with his paw and that alone resulted in the deaths of many Locust Orcs with just one strike. Jin only saw the attack done in a partial manner but he could feel the intensity of the move even though he was far away.

It looked as if everyone was taking the opportunity to clear the Locust Orcs within the village and regrouping if necessary. That was where Jin felt that it should be possible for him to cut a path through and meet his reinforcements, allowing a potential distraction against the Locust Orcs.

At the same time, he was also hoping that he could help assist those Pandarian Guards who were outside fighting and hanging on to dear life now that the village had been blocked by his isolation barrier. It meant that there was no help coming in nor they could go back out.

But just as he was about to go out, a Paw reached out and stopped him which he found surprising because it was Captain Hei.

"Are you crazy?"

"It's my barrier, I can go in or out whenever I want. Nobody else can do that." Jin exclaimed.

"And lose your life for what? From that kind of expression, it made me feel that you are also attempting to save the remaining Pandarian Guards."

"Yes, and you are not stopping me." Jin twirled and dashed forward. Captain Hei followed along as well, hoping to give reason for such a suicidal act.

"You had done enough for the village. The guards knew what they were in for when they went out to protect the village from harm. If we can come out unscathed, I believe the Village Elder can see reason to aid you when the time comes."

"There can be no aid if there are no Guards to call upon as well. And why are you so concerned about this guest of all a sudden." Jin said as he slashed away two Locust Orcs on his side while Captain Hei did the same thing as well.

"You are being ridiculous. Do what you want then." Captain Hei realised there was nothing he could do if the person was extremely stubborn. And he detoured to face the remaining Demon Locust Orcs in the vicinity.

At that point, Jin laughed as he dashed through his isolation barrier with the small opening he made specifically for himself and with his blade ready with Maqi instead of just chi. As he dived into the small opening, he instantly decapticated a few Locust Orcs and subsequently closed the isolation barrier.

And with his Maqi, he also managed to find the Guards trying to stay in formation to protect themselves while killing any Locust Orcs that were attempting to murder them.

It was at that point that Jin did not make any reservations in the preservation of his Maqi as he ran through the entirety of Locust Orcs who were blocking his path towards those brave injuried Pandarians.

The path he dashed through was immediately encased with pure solid ice providing a small shelter from the flying locusts and creating a sort of tunnel to let the Pandarians move through. The ice that had been created was somewhat 'alive' piercing any Locust Orcs that came too close to it.

But whether Jin could successfully bring the group of injured Pandarians through would not depend solely on him but also on his reinforcements which he believed it would be coming in anytime soon.
