Number One Dungeon Supplier

Chapter 2066: The Search for Allies

Chapter 2066: The Search for Allies

"Do you need any assistance in this matter?" Gara questioned and Jin thought for a while in his throne room where he occasionally does his improvised smithing or dungeon summoning. It was to the point it became his workshop as compared to what it had to do – to welcome guests in a manner befitting of a king.

It was to the point where he also got lazy and got the people to bring his cabinet and office in so that he had a spacious room to do his stuff.

But at the same time, he had also used the very same place to continue to receive his audience. And to do so, he did it in a professional manner where there was a conference table in the middle of the throne room to do so.

It was to the point where the maids and servants had learned what Jin actually does as well as his habits that it was easy to know what the things that they should be clearing and the items that should not be touched.

"Not particularly. If things go right for me, I should be able to clear it rather easily. Besides, I had been practicing some new things on my own and felt that this …might be a good opportunity to test them out." Jin said as he unwittingly looked at the System to stare at his stats for a moment.

He had been doing a ton of stuff and the System had been rewarding him with a good amount of stats attributes which he believed it was starting to take effect on him.

At first, they were in the double digits when he entered the realm but now almost every one of them was in the hundreds. And while he initially thought it was a scam, he could not deny that he was now feeling the change in attributes. Even though the system had stated that it was a magic stat, he could feel he was able to output more Maqi than ever.

It was more obvious when he consistently poured out the Maqi for the construction portion of Ress and there was nowhere to practice it unless he utilised it against the Demons.

But because of the circumstances that he had gone tank testing with Kraft, Gara had decided that it was not safe for Jin to move around on his own anymore. There was always a Commando Mage as his guard unless they had been detailed for an operation. Otherwise, it would be Linus, the first ever mage he had met when he came to this world.

With Kraft and even Gara's…intervention, Linus had become a personal bodyguard for Jin even though the recently minted rifle mage knew that Jin was an entity stronger than him.

Still, this Rifle Mage bodyguard was not meant to be trifled with. After Gara was considered a graduate of all the gruesome training, he personally took over the remaining training of Linus to ensure that he was pushing out powers that were equivalent to a Commando Mage. Speaking of the latter, No.

6 had been assigned to bodyguard duty because of her acute observation and sharp awareness of the things around her.

So, it was usually No. 6 and Linus who would be together to take turns to protect their King as he does his improvised smithing. Only when there were operations that No.6 would take leave from bodyguard duties.

That was also why Jin had decided not to include the bodyguards in this search for new allies mainly due to the fact that he wanted to use this opportunity to further push his limits. Thus, he passed two dish like gadgets to Gara.

"Considering all the enemies we had encountered in the dungeon, it should be a decent breeze to me but just in case things go shit for me… erm. I will call the two bodyguards to come help me…or that is what you would usually hear from people." Jin chuckled. "I might call them to give them more training~"

"Your Majesty. Just to check, you are our Majesty, right? Not Lord Kraft?" Gara asked to confirm and Jin laughed.

"Now I am starting to understand why Kraft loves to do all this kind of pranks because of the stress that gets to him," Jin replied.

"Do you wish to have a night with our finest courtesan? The ministry should have some budget for that." Gara said and it was obvious that Jin was struggling with the morality of such a simple yes or no question.

"Let's leave that question open until I get back from the dungeon," Jin said as he opened the dungeon portal, not willing to answer the question truthfully especially since he remembered that he still had a partner back on Earth even though they did not have idea about it with the exception of Kraft.

"All the best, your Majesty. We hope that the call you made for your bodyguards is to train them further." Gara said as he saluted Jin off into the dungeon.

"Rank S+" Jin sighed to himself as he finally stepped into it after learning a few days back that upon creating the dungeon portal tunnel trick between two isolation barriers, his dungeon summoning portal skill finally ranked up. It enabled him to enter a Rank S+ portal and potentially into EX-F instead of merely the bottom of the barrel EX-'unranked' ranked dungeons if he threw Maqi into it.

The naming convention initially confused most people since they see EX as a sort of legendary rank but if they put things into perspective. Anything below Rank F was considered unranked. So, what they had been fighting so far was EX-unranked until they met the Rank EX-F Demonic Rock Giant.

Of course, if this goes on, he would not know whether the use of the current original rankings would be useful to the people.

He knew that it was probably because he used them so frequently that it eventually popped up. It was as if the rank up was a gift. By completing the expansion that he promised to his people, his skill ranked up. Still, that was his own sentiments and the System probably had accumulated enough experience points for him to do so.

"Alright, here I go." Jin said as he opened his eyes upon coming out of the dungeon portal to see what his 'wish' and the dungeon summoned would be like.
