Master of the End Times

Chapter 800 - Chu Fan the Revenger

Chapter 800: Chu Fan, the Revenger

Not only that, they were now in the middle of a farm! Qin Feng could still see the fire that was burning wildly from afar—this meant that they were somewhere near the place he retreated earlier!

Qin Feng’s face turned grim immediately. “We can’t stay here. We need to go right now!”

The place was outside of the city walls. Qin Feng had cut down a lot of mutated plants nearby earlier; so, there was a huge surge in the mutated vipers’ population in the area.

Qin Feng actually knew that this was going to happen though. Every living being in this dimension was now brimming with energy. Therefore, the vipers would definitely come and devour these plants, resulting in them evolving to their ultra neast forms!

Appearing right in the middle of this farm was like appearing in the middle of the enemy’s headquarters on the battlefield. Chu Fan essentially brought them straight into the monsters’ nests.

“Hahahahahahahaha!!!!”

Suddenly, Chu Fan let out a maniacal laugh.

The boy was still young and had not awakened his abilities yet. However, right now he looked like a creepy ghost that could take one’s life in a blink of an eye.

“I’m free! I’m finally free!!”

Chu Fan cried out loudly as he pulled out his gun and fired at Qin Feng.

Bang!

The bullet landed at where Qin Feng was standing.

Qin Feng was fast. No matter how talented a boy was, he was still a child. There was no way he could be stronger than Qin Feng.

Qin Feng stared at the boy coldly. “So, you did this on purpose? You purposely led me here?”

Chu Fan’s face was distorted with maniacal laughter as he screamed at Qin Feng, “Yes. Yes, indeed! You and those researchers! You’re all Z’s men! Z must die! You must die! You all must die!!! Die!!!”

Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang!

Chu Fan then pulled the trigger again, and again, and again!

The gun that he was using was an old relic from the old world—the ones that used gunpowder. As such, even though the boy was not trained in the arts of the runes, he could still use it.

Nonetheless, without heightened senses and accuracy, Chu Fan was not able to hit Qin Feng at all.

Chu Fan’s face turned grim as he lowered his weapon.

Seeing this, Qin Feng stopped moving around and opened his mouth, “It would appear that you have some grudges against Z. This is actually a good thing. I’ll have you know that even though I’ve received his mission, I actually am not affiliated to him at all. In fact, I’m more of an enemy of Z’s. He wanted to capture me and take my blood sample, and do experiments on me.”

Qin Feng had plenty of ways to capture Chu Fan right now. However, when he looked at the frail boy, he could not help but see himself in him. Chu Fan reminded him of his past self—the time before he was reborn.

And it was quite logical to see so many people wanting to kill Z. Z’s immoral, evil research did not just involve Qin Feng back then after all.

Chu Fan replied coldly, “You’re just a B-tier. And you say you are an enemy of Z’s? What a bluff!”

Qin Feng had no means of proving himself right now—they were in the Fettering Land, so he could not show him his powers.

“If you don’t want to leave, I can let you go. All you gotta do is hand that Devourer to me. Nonetheless, I suggest you stick with me for a while. I can bring you somewhere safer.”

However, Chu Fan appeared to not believe in Qin Feng at all. “You think I’ll be fooled? Besides, somewhere safer? Ha! I’ll tell you what! This place is the safest place in the world. This dimension is perfect for me! The microchip that the researchers implanted in me does not work at all here. And their abilities and martial arts don’t mean sh*t in this dimension too. But me? I can still use my consciousness. I can be the ruler of this realm!”

As he finished his words, Chu Fan threw his hands in the air and emitted invisible, pulsating energy waves. A few moments later, Qin Feng could hear something rustling through the bushes behind Chu Fan.

“Be careful! There are poisonous snakes behind you!” Qin Feng cried out to warn the boy. However, it did not take long for him to realize that these vipers had all crawled past Chu Fan and started to surround him instead. These vipers had totally ignored Chu Fan!

Qin Feng understood instantly what was going on—these vipers were now under Chu Fan’s control.

Perhaps the boy’s consciousness had some unique capabilities to control ultra beasts without forming a contract with them. If that was the case, this would be a really powerful ability to have in the Fettering Land.

If this was the case, then Qin Feng did not need to worry for Chu Fan’s safety. Still, this little boy seemed to be quite determined to kill him though. Qin Feng felt that he needed to teach this brat a little lesson first—if he was left unsupervised and remained so bloodthirsty, Chu Fan could grow into another one of those cold-blooded murderers in the Dark Coalition too.

Slash! Slash!

Qin Feng pulled out his Verdant Emperor Saber and cut a few vipers that lunged at him in an instant.

This time, there was no need to take care of anyone near him. As such, Qin Feng could perform any attack without anyone pulling his leg. He slowly walked toward Chu Fan, wanting to restrain him.

“Argh!!”

Chu Fan cried out in panic. The boy finally knew that Qin Feng was no pushover. He quickly took out a grenade and tossed it onto the ground.

Pssst!

In an instant, a screen of smoke enveloped the area—it was a smoke grenade! Qin Feng quickly held his breath as he focused his attention to listen to every sound around him. Without his consciousness, Qin Feng could only rely on his five senses to determine the location of his foes.

When Qin Feng got out of the smokescreen, Chu Fan was already gone!

Qin Feng’s face was so grim that he looked like he was constipated.

He could not complete Z’s mission now!

Still, Qin Feng felt that perhaps Z would be more interested in researching the living beings in the dimension compared to that small mouse in the bottle. In fact, his researchers’ projects were quite promising.

‘If they were to continue on with this study, it might actually change the world!’ Qin Feng thought to himself.

Still, seeing that there was no way to complete Z’s mission now, Qin Feng decided to handle that task that Jiang Haolin asked of him earlier. Thus, Qin Feng turned and headed back to the city.

***

After Qin Feng had left, Chu Fan walked out of his hiding among the bushes. Countless green vipers circulated him as he carefully avoided the farm that they were at earlier.

Chu Fan headed straight to the city gate.

Then, he could smell fragrances of meat being burned to crisp and the stench of inflammable oil near the gate.

“Go!” Chu Fan ordered.

The vipers, after receiving Chu Fan’s consciousness’ order, lunged straight into the fire one by one. Then, they entangled the dead, burned vipers in the fire and grabbed them.

Chu Fan took out a dagger and skinned these dead vipers before he started eating them. He was eating them like he had not eaten for days!

Of course, he was not hungry. These were not food that he was eating—it was power!

A moment later, he sliced a piece of the burned vipers’ meat as he took out a bottle.

“Come on, baby! Bon appetit!”

The small “mouse”—the Devourer then raised its head to smell the meat that was handed to it before grabbing it with its forelegs.

Then, it started to consume the meat.

A few seconds later…

Booom!

The bottle started to crack as the Devourer inside suddenly grew rapidly to the size of a palm.

“Yes! Yes!! Come on, baby! Eat more! Hahahahahaha!!!”
