Chapter 1121 - Fighting BOSS

Chapter 1121: Fighting BOSS

Nobody wished to be a BOSS’s fighting slave after dying but everyone could see what Bradley was more than capable of. In less than two exchange of blows, everyone was fully aware of how disgusting this BOSS was.

In previous dungeons, magic type BOSSes possessed long-distance attacks and AOE capabilities. However, the CD of their skills were always slightly longer than other BOSSes. As long as players were able to find out the frequency of the BOSS’s skills and conditions, it wouldn’t be too difficult to defeat such BOSSes.

However, Bradley was completely different from any other magic type BOSS. This fella didn’t even need time to execute a crowd control skill, let alone other skills. This was especially true after witnessing the mass proliferation of [Poison Nova] as well as how he could turn players to fight for him. This resulted in an extra layer of fear in everyone’s hearts.

It was no wonder none of the guilds managed to get through this dungeon in the past. Without mentioning anything else, Bradley’s [Poison Nova] was already a nightmare to the players.

After all, there were not many players who were as agile as Wang Yu. Moreover, the percentage of players with agile jobs like Archers would usually be minor.

Once [Poison Nova] was released, at least half of them would fall into it. At that point, everyone would start killing each other. Therefore, the more people here, the harder it would be to get past this BOSS.

Evidently, Bradley was considered to be a BOSS without any vulnerability. His only weakness was that his HP was slightly less compared to the rest. However, it was simply unrealistic if players tried to use numbers against him.

“Oh…” Wang Yu scratched his chin while trying to ease his headache as he stared at Bradley, who wasn’t too far away.

Of course, Wang Yu was having a headache not because of how ridiculous Bradley’s execution of skills was. In the eyes of Wang Yu, Bradley’s speed of execution was never going to worry him.

Wang Yu was only having a headache because of the earlier incident where he rescued the three of them. During that process, he struck Bradley firmly using his pole. However, the system reminded Wang Yu that Bradley was already a spirit so ordinary attacks were ineffective against him.

The word ‘despicable’ had always been ingrained in the system. The term ‘ordinary attacks’ was so ambiguous who knows what kind of attacks belong under that category and what kind doesn’t? Does he really have to try out all his skills to find out?

At the thought of this, Wang Yu turned to ask Unfathomable Mystery, “Do you have any Holy-type skills?”

Unfathomable Mystery furrowed his brows, “Brother, I am from the Dark Faction so how can I possibly learn such skills?”

“Tsk… This is going to be tough… It seems like we cannot fight without Holy-type skills.” Wang Yu shook his head in despair.

“Why?” Unfathomable Mystery questioned.

Wang Yu asked doubtfully, “You are clearly the one who attacked the BOSS first. Did you not see the system notification?”

“System notification?” Unfathomable Mystery was confused, “I didn’t see anything, ah.”

“???”

Hearing Unfathomable Mystery’s reply, Wang Yu was feeling even more vexed. Unfathomable Mystery was merely an Archer from the Dark Faction which meant that his attacks would definitely be categorised as ordinary attacks. But why were his attacks effective?

Unless?

Wang Yu probed at Bradley’s attributes once again. When he saw the description about how Bradley was shot to death by a Demon Hunter’s arrow, Wang Yu had a sudden realisation.

Damn it! It was no wonder his attacks were ineffective. It seemed like this fella was only afraid of Archers.

Once Wang Yu understood this point, he nodded as he shouted at the escaping Five Flagtree, “Little Five, come over here.”

“Oh…” Five Flagtree appeared to have gotten used to listening to instructions. When she heard Wang Yu’s command, she didn’t question anything as she brought Mystery Observer over towards Wang Yu and Unfathomable Mystery.

Wang Yu casually killed Mystery Observer before instructing the two of them. “Now that the BOSS’s aggro is no longer here, the two of you stay here. I will go keep the BOSS occupied but later on, the two of you need not care about anything else. All you need to do is to stick behind me and keep on attacking the BOSS with all your might.”

“This… This is what you came up with?” Hearing such a simple and straightforward plan, Unfathomable Mystery couldn’t help but shiver dazedly.

He was really convinced that Wang Yu had some good plan in mind. Who knew that after listening to what he had to say, his only instructions were for them to attack with all their might from where they were standing. He didn’t even tell them how to cooperate with him or even simple things like where to stand and position themselves.

Damn it! They were fighting Bradley and not some wild dog in Beginner’s Village. If all it took was for them to stand where they were to attack the BOSS, how hard could this dungeon be? Wouldn’t everyone simply choose DPS jobs?

“F*ck!” Wang Yu refuted fiercely, “Do you have any opinion?”

“No… No.” Unfathomable Mystery waved his hand.

He had no choice because, in this game, might makes right… Otherwise, how did he end up becoming a top expert? Following his plan would definitely not go wrong.

Unfathomable Mystery had an unforgettable firsthand experience of Wang Yu’s abilities. Since everyone felt equally helpless in this situation, he didn’t have any other choice except to follow what Wang Yu said.

“Since you have no opinions, let’s do this!”

Following which, Wang Yu clenched his fist and welcomed Bradley from the front.

When Bradley saw Wang Yu charging towards him, he remained emotionless as he swung his staff to release a skill. At this moment, Wang Yu’s right hand swung and a long pole struck Bradley’s wrist.

“Pah!”

Bradley’s wrist trembled slightly as his skill was forcefully disrupted by Wang Yu.

“…”

Unfathomable Mystery and Five Flagtree were dumbfounded once again… Despite knowing how skilled Wang Yu was, witnessing the way Wang Yu went head to head with a BOSS of this calibre was simply breathtaking.

He was a true man!

Just when the two of them were admiring Wang Yu’s guts, they heard Wang Yu shouting at him, “What are you staring at?! Hurry up, attack!”

“Oh, oh, oh…”

The two of them were dazed as they suddenly recalled their only tasks. They drew their arrows and started firing them at Bradley.

“Pfft! Pfft!”

The arrows flew right onto Bradley’s body swiftly.

-5400

-3200

Two damages were seen floating from Bradley’s head.

“Wow! Your attack damage is so high?” Seeing the damage done, Unfathomable Mystery stared shockingly at Five Flagtree.

Five Flagtree took out a bundle of arrows and handed it over, “This is for you…”

After receiving the arrows, Unfathomable Mystery exclaimed, “Silver… Silver Ray Arrow? You must be really rich.”

Silver Ray Arrow was a magic arrow which possessed the same effect as a Holy skill. It was meant to deal with dark attributes, which was also the reason why it was one of the best arrows used by Dark Faction’s Archers.

However, this plaything was a specialty of Vatican City. In the Light Faction, a bundle of these arrows cost one silver coin while it could cost up to one gold coin for one bundle in the Dark Faction.

Smuggled products from a different faction were naturally going to cost more.

Who knew that an ordinary player like Five Flagtree would have such an item too?

Five Flagtree smiled helplessly, “Players like us help to deliver equipment and also help other players replenish their items. This item belongs to my Boss but since we’re not getting out anyway, I don’t see why we cannot use it.”

“Tsk! Just how wealthy is that short fatty?” Unfathomable Mystery pouted his mouth in envy.

The grass is always greener on the other side makes perfect sense here…
