The Surgeon’s Studio

1974 Sunrise (Part 2)

“I won ‘t.” Zheng Ren said confidently.

After traveling a few hundred kilometers, he would be so disappointed if he didn’t see sunrise.

Zheng Ren believed that his luck would definitely be of use … Perhaps.

At this moment, Zheng Ren was thinking about the old saying that since Wanwan was already here, she couldn’t just turn around and go back.

Besides, holding Yiren’s hand, home was everywhere. Was it important to see sunrise or not?

At this moment, even if he were to wander the world, his heart would still be at ease.

The two of them held hands as they passed by the crowded area. Some people started a bonfire, singing and dancing around it.

Someone was livestreaming. He was fully equipped, and Zheng Ren could not understand many of them.

There were also people who had fallen out of love, who took a bottle of wine and forcefully got themselves drunk.

Most of them were young couples like him and Yiren, snuggling together and whispering to each other. They were probably here to watch sunrise.

Don’t they have to go to work?

Zheng Ren was a little confused.

However, they might have asked for leave. If it was the weekend, there would be even more people.

This thought flashed through Zheng Ren’s mind for a moment before he forgot about it.

Sitting by the bonfire, Zheng Ren took off his clothes and gave them to Yiren as a cushion. They snuggled up to each other and looked at the people around them.

Zheng Ren was extremely relaxed. Occasionally, there would be a few heartbroken people, but Zheng Ren had no intention of going up to tell them that drinking at this time was bad for their health.

It was the right thing to do as a human.

It had been accumulating in the bottom of his heart, and there would come a day when he could not bear it. If it really accumulated to a certain amount and collapsed in the end, it would be a big problem.

It was still necessary to vent his negative emotions once in a while.

“Zheng Ren, are you sleepy?” Xie Yiren asked in a low voice as she snuggled into Zheng Ren’s arms.

“I’m not sleepy. ” Zheng Ren smiled and hugged Yiren in his arms.”Just treat it as an emergency operation.”

“There’s no hurry. ” Xie Yiren didn’t think that Zheng Ren’s words were strange, so she smiled and said softly,””How good would it be if everyone was safe and sound?”

“It will. It might be decades or centuries later. There will always be such a day.”

At 2:30 am, when the sky was at its darkest, people had already begun to walk up to the higher ground.

It was inevitable that one would be able to see further when standing high.

The earlier they went, the better their seats would be, so Zheng Ren pulled Xie Yiren up. He put on Xie Yiren’s jacket and carefully tidied it.

Zheng Ren’s jacket was loose on Xie Yiren, and she looked adorable. He laughed and rubbed Xie Yiren’s face with the back of his hand.

There were only strangers around her, and Xie Yi wasn’t as shy as she was in the capital or Haicheng. She hugged Zheng Ren’s arm, and the two of them followed the sparse crowd to the beach.

Su Yun’s description of the desolate land with only the sea breeze, waves, and the sound of seagulls was just a beautiful guess.

None of these. Su Yun had guessed wrong from the start.

Looking at the hundreds of people, Zheng Ren felt a little helpless.

Didn’t you say that you can do whatever you want? With so many people, how were they going to play? He ran a few hundred kilometers in the middle of the night just to see the crowd.

The more they left, the fewer people there were and the quieter it became.

To most people, climbing a mountain in the middle of the night was more of a fearful feeling than a romantic one. The sound of the wind blowing through the treetops, the flapping of the crows ‘wings, and the occasional screams and soft sobs formed the theme of the night.

The flashlights from more than a dozen phones flickered like stars. Zheng Ren didn’t think much of it, but little Yiren was a little scared. She was hanging onto Zheng Ren like a sloth.

It was really …

Why are you here to suffer!

The more Zheng Ren walked, the more confused he became. Sitting in the car with Yiren for an entire night seemed to make him very happy. Although it was a little boring, it was still better than the bone-chilling wind and the constant screams of the seaside Hills.

Coming to the beach to watch sunrise sounded very romantic, but Zheng Ren didn’t feel that way at all after experiencing it himself.

Although the mountain wasn’t very high, it looked like it was haunted.

“I’ll carry you. Don’t sprain your ankle. ” Zheng Ren said to Yiren when he saw that the mountain path was getting narrower and that there were already people beside them who had suffered minor injuries, but they were all just scratches and so on.

Without waiting for her to agree, Zheng Ren squatted in front of Xie Yiren.

Xie Yiren lay on Zheng Ren’s back, warm and broad. She smiled and whispered into Zheng Ren’s ear,””Go!”

“Hehe.” Zheng Ren laughed naively and walked quickly to the top of the mountain.

Zheng Ren’s eyesight was good. After all, he had obtained a certain level of enhancement in the system space. The system did not specify the exact extent, so Zheng Ren had no idea.

However, compared to the others, Zheng Ren’s advantage was too obvious.

The body of a white-collar worker in the city could not be compared to that of a person in lead clothes. His eyesight was also much better than other people’s if he could use a microscope to perform surgery.

Was this considered an advantage? Perhaps.

Xie Yiren obediently lay on Zheng Ren’s body. She breathed out from time to time and played with him. She wasn’t afraid at all.

The further up the mountain they went, the less they walked, and the stronger the wind.

The mountain wasn’t tall, it was just a small mound less than 300 meters above sea level.

The higher he went, the stronger the sea breeze became, whimpering and circling. The sound of waves could be heard. In the dark night, it was as if there was some inexplicable danger in the boundless sea.

To Zheng Ren, this was not a problem. No matter how terrifying an existence was, it couldn’t be scarier than the gentle and steady uncle ning.

Zheng Ren sighed when he reached the top of the mountain.

He couldn’t see anything in the darkness, but he could feel the little Yiren behind him shivering.

It was indeed a lot of problems to go on a trip without any preparation.

The wind was very strong at the peak of the mountain. Zheng Ren put Xie Yiren down and found a place to sit down. He hugged her in his arms and covered her with his clothes.

Only then did Xie Yiren feel better.

“Zheng Ren, are you cold?” Xie Yiren asked worriedly as she listened to the whimpering sea breeze.

“I’m not cold,” Zheng Ren smiled.”During the earthquake relief, we encountered the freezing rain in the mountains. It was really cold then. The sea breeze is nothing, and I’m holding a hot spring. How can I be cold?”

Her red lips gently kissed Zheng Ren’s neck, tickling him slightly.

Zheng Ren lowered his head, but Xie Yiren smiled and said,””Stop it, stop it, sunrise is about to rise.”

“No, it’s still early.”

“Look, look, the sky is getting brighter!” Xie Yiren chuckled and hid in Zheng Ren’s arms like a kitten. She didn’t dare to make a scene.

There were so many people at the foot of the mountain. She would be so embarrassed if she was seen.

In the darkest part of the sky, there was a faint light.

Even Zheng Ren wasn’t sure if it was an illusion caused by the dark night or if it was really bright.

Time passed by bit by bit, but there were not many people at the top because the wind was too strong.

Gradually, the faint color on the horizon became a little thicker, and a line was torn open in the darkness.

No matter how dark the night was, there would always be a moment when it disappeared.
