Chapter 1471: He Snatched My Son Away Before, It’s Very Fair For Me To Snatch His Son Away Too

“And moreover, even if he really gets here, he won’t be your partners’ opponent in the skies.” Gu Mengmeng spoke tirelessly with a calm and slow tone, in an attempt to comfort Miranda’s emotions. She added, “And moreover, don’t you still have me? Since I’m protecting you, I won’t allow him to touch you.”

Miranda’s eyes started to gain focus as she stared at Gu Mengmeng before turning to look at Lucas, calling him with a strong sobbing voice, “Lucas….”

“Yeah, I’m here.” Lucas’s heart ached terribly. After gaining Gu Mengmeng’s consent, he rushed to Miranda and hugged her in his arms.

With Lucas hugging her, Miranda’s emotions calmed down slowly.

Gu Mengmeng could infer that Miranda became very sensitive and uneasy after experiencing that confinement period where she saw no sunlight. Lucas and her other eight males must had treated her well for her to regain such a high level of reliance on them.

Upon seeing Miranda calming down, Gu Mengmeng then opened her mouth to continue, “Does the child in your stomach belong to him?”

Gu Mengmeng avoided mentioning Cole’s name but she knew that Miranda understood her fully.

Miranda hesitated for a moment before nodding her head, replying, “What do you want me to do so that you can let me off? I’ll kill the child after I give birth to her…if I do that, can I stay in the Motou Mountains with Lucas and the rest forever?”

Gu Mengmeng frowned, she knew that females in the Beast World were used to being selfish. Others’ lives seemed worthless other than their own lives.

But she thought that a Mother ought to have the most basic motherly love.

She was aware that in Miranda’s eyes, her image was scarier than the evil boss, Cole. But, she thought that Miranda would put on a struggle to protect her own child at least.

Her reaction more or less disappointed Gu Mengmeng as she felt a sense of hopelessness towards the Beast World.

“You’re aware that he wants this child, right?” Gu Mengmeng’s attitude became colder.

Initially, Gu Mengmeng did not quite understand the reason why Cole forced Gregory to send him up the Motou Mountains but pondering over it now….everything was exposed to view.

One of the Seven Treasures, the Key of the Beast King. Cole could not wait till Gu Mengmeng gave birth to a child with the bloodline of a Beast King so he wanted to give birth to one himself.

Ha, he must had known that Gu Mengmeng sent Miranda up the Motou Mountains so he brooked no delay in wanting to snatch his child away, right?

“I…..I know. He wants to eat this child.” Miranda nodded her head blankly and asked, “Then…..then if I ask Lucas to send him the child after I give birth, will he not find me anymore?”

Gu Mengmeng sighed and suggested, “There’s no need for such trouble. After you give birth, hand the child over to me. I’ll tell Cole that his child is in my hands and he can snatch the child away from me if he has the capabilities.”

Miranda stared at Gu Mengmeng, empty blankness written in her eyes.

Gu Mengmeng did not want to make such a long explanation. She just replied one sentence, “He snatch my son away before, it’s very fair for me to snatch his son away too.”

“Alright.” Miranda did not hesitate at all before she agreed to Gu Mengmeng’s request.

Gu Mengmeng was lazy to sputter anymore rubbish to Miranda. She just threw a glance at Lucas and instructed him, “Head to the lake near the boundaries of the Motou Mountains and collect her food from a white tiger. Once she gives birth, send the child over to me.”

Lucas looked at Miranda and seeing her nod, he replied, “Okay.”

Gu Mengmeng did not stay behind any longer as she asked Gregory to bring her back to their original cave.
