Chapter 386: The Returning Immortals Would Not Run into Any Accidents, Would They?
There was silence in the vast office.
Thud.
A divine-tier elite had dropped his thermal cup to the floor, splashing wolfberries and tea leaves all over the floor, but that elite seemed to not realize it.
Wang Hou’s lips twitched at the sight of the wolfberries strewn all over the floor.
These morons… they could not imitate else? Did they have to imitate me brewing wolfberries in a thermal cup?

Meanwhile, deep within outer space, Jiang He felt a little confused even as he stared at the fifty-kilometer Star Core.
How was he supposed to plant that thing?
His farm was just 100 Mu…
“Whatever, I’ll store it in my System Backpack for now and think of a way to plant it later.” Jiang He extended his hand and grasped, his mystic energy surging towards the Star Core… only for an energy to surge out of the Star Core, and it struggled, attempting to fly away from Jiang He’s control.
Having no choice, Jiang He took out his Heavenly Thunderbolt Hand Grenades once more.
Though that thing did not have intelligence, it was something born from a world, and the Dao within it held a certain extent of awareness. Therefore, it went still at once when Jiang He threatened it again, and whirled for a while before transforming to the size of a basketball.
“Oh?”
Jiang He’s eyes lit up as he grinned. “That thing could shrink or expand? If it’s crafted into a mystic item… hmmm?”
As he spoke, Jiang He had extended his hand at the Star Core.
However, his expression changed at that.
The Star Core did not move at all.
Jiang He directed the flow his mystic energy while his qi burst out as he grasped again, but the Star Core only shook a little.
“How heavy is that thing? I could uproot Mount Everest at full strength, or is that thing heavier than Mount Everest?”
There was no helping it.
He would not be keeping it in his System Backpack since he could not pick it up, so he would have to leave it with Hu Mei for now.
Being a full-fledged Heavenly Immortal daemon, Hu Mei possessed a vast Void Storage that could easily hold the Star Core even if it was in its fifty-kilometer form, let alone its basketball-size form.
With the Star Core retrieved, Jiang He turned to look at the countless debris of Mars. They were wafting in space, and would either be crushed into powder by space storms or cause widespread destruction as they crashed into other planets.
Of course… such things were no within Jiang He’s consideration.
Sighing softly, he then laughed, “The Sky Demons legion of millions and their many champions are vaporized along with Mars, with their True Immortal, Demon Lord and four Heavenly Immortals all blown up by me… now, I don’t have to worry about them being a threat.”
“You must not be careless, Master.”
Hu Mei said beside him then, “The Sky Demons might not be a powerhouse, but they are still among the top hundred in this universe, controlling an entire star system along with hundreds of living planets. Their pioneers were quasi-Sages and their kind boast countless champions. Even if hundreds of Sufferance champions and almost a hundred Mahayana champions of theirs died by your hand, Master, it would merely be a flesh wound. The races in this universe could groom another batch of Mahayana and Sufferance champions in less than a thousand years, after all.”
“Moreover, it isn’t Mahayana or Sufferance champions that decide a race’s power, but their most pinnacle forces.”
“Since the Sky Demons have received word that the Star Map array has opened, the Hundred Races that formerly invaded would target Earth once more.”
Jiang He’s face stiffened at that, and countless thoughts flashed in his mind just then.
He almost wanted to curse at someone’s mother.
Sh*t!
Was there no end to these extraterrestrials’ business?
Does this mean that there would still be trouble in the future?
“All I want to do is be a neet, sleep in peace, farm and have tea, as well as enjoy the seven fairy maidens’ entertainment, have Boa Hancock massage my limbs and ride my fox from time to time… why is such a tiny wish so impossible?”
There was a fearsome flash in Jiang He’s eyes and he clenched his teeth. “Hu Mei, which were races were the ones that invaded Earth before? Why don’t we take some time to blow up those b*stards?”
Still, he soon found that too risky after some thought.
The Sky Demons, even though they were alleged to be bottom feeders among the Hundred Races, boasted countless champions and quasi-Sages. In other words, wouldn’t other powerful races be overflowing with immortals?
They would have Sages as well, would they not?
“It seems the expansion of my world view is not what I’ve expected… I thought that the immortal sects, demonic sects and daemon cultivators would reveal themselves after the Revival of Qi, and the world would progress towards a revival of myths and ancient legends… Now, the world has expanded so much it is not limited to that.”
Jiang He rubbed his temples a little worriedly.
Ancient divine myths, huh…
Grand Luo, Quasi-Sages, Sages…
“Such a shame. I had not started cultivated that long—it has only been four months, at best. I really do fall short in comparison to those ancient superior beings whose ages are counted in epochs, but if I just had a few decades more and gained the power to kill them, I could do whatever I want!”
And if he wants that sort of power, cultivation alone would not work.
Moreover…
Cultivation was impossible for him in this life. It is only through farming that he stayed alive.
At that thought, Jiang He remembered that he had yet to plant the spirit stones and mystic treasures which the nine factions had paid him, and hurriedly said, “Alright, let’s go home, Hu Mei.”
“Got it, Master.”
Hu Mei sprawled herself over thin air, hoisting her sexy posterior and flirting, “Come, ride me, Master.”
Jiang He was dumbstruck.
What the hell!
Revert to your true form!
How was he supposed to ride her like this?
Hence, after Jiang He demanded it with righteous justification, Hu Mei turned into a hundred-meter daemon fox with a face full of grief.
She cheekily moaned ‘Ah~~~’ as Jiang He flew and landed on her back, which left him gritting his teeth. He could not wait to hand her some stick disciplining later.
Before he left, Jiang He turned to look in the direction of Mars as a thought struck him, “I was told that Mars is a relay station, a path that the cultivators must take as their traveled through outer space or returned to Earth in ancient times… but now that I have blown it up, would the returning immortals be able to find their way back?”
“Huh!”
“Aren’t I getting paranoid?”
“They are immortals, so physically crossing the stars would not be impossible. It would not take long for them to fly back from Mars to Earth either.”
And yet, Jiang He suddenly thought that something was not right.
He pondered, and only remembered when he got home…
“Since I blew up Mars, the ancient portals there would be gone as well… but the immortals teleporting from distant stars to Earth wouldn’t run into any accidents, would they?”
