Chapter 563: Natal Spiritual Artifact

"If your Spirit Root is Water and your Natal Spiritual Artifact is something that’s related to Fire, it wouldn’t be the best for you."

Sima Ye said and explained what he meant.

Lin Xuan Qi lowered his head and pondered on it for a moment.

He didn’t have any Spirit Root but he was able to wield all the five elements with the Five-Elements Qi.

And his wielding of the five elements wasn’t like someone who had a Five-Element Spirit Root where they weren’t able to be proficient in any of the elements.

Did that mean that it wouldn’t matter to him at all?

"What if this friend of mine doesn’t have such a concern? It wouldn’t matter for him?" Lin Xuan Qi asked and waited for Sima Ye’s reply.

In his case, his Daoist Five-Element Cultivation Techniques wouldn’t go well with a dark Artifact.

He thought about the artifacts he had with him and the incense urn gave him an idea.

He could do things without fear while the Natal Spiritual Artifact did what he wanted to do outside the compounds of his properties.

"Is there something that would allow my friend to control the Natal Spiritual Artifact across long distances, while he is stationary somewhere else?"

"A Natal Puppet might be what he is looking for." Sima Ye nodded his head and said, "It would be a good choice for your friend if he can have enough Spirit Qi to control the Natal Puppet.

"The Natal Puppet can have the same techniques that your friend has and it would allow your friend to see, listen, and smell what it perceives at the same time.

"It would be like having your Nascent Soul before your friend gets to Nascent Soul Level."

"That sounds great." Lin Xuan Qi was intrigued when he heard that it could be a way for it to be like his Nascent Soul.

His Five-Element Qi already allowed him to battle with cultivators that were at an even higher cultivation level than he was.

If he had the Natal Puppet, it would be such an upgrade for him in terms of his fighting abilities.

He decided that the Natal Puppet would be what he wanted for his Natal Spiritual Artifact.

"Are you able to get it for my friend?" He asked and Sima Ye nodded his head.

"It will however, take some time as it requires many precious metals and items from all over the land to create one.

"I will personally see to it that the best Artifact Cultivator in the Sima Family will be in charge of it."

Sima Ye’s reply made him very happy.

"How much do I have to pay for it?" Lin Xuan Qi asked but Sima Ye shook his head at him.

"After what you’ve done for the Sima Family, how could we take even one copper coin from you?" Sima Ye said but Lin Xuan Qi insisted.

"Please, I insist that I pay for it... After all, things have changed a lot." Lin Xuan Qi said and reminded Sima Ye that even the dynamics of the Sima Family were different now.

Getting it free might be out of the question now.

Sima Ye lowered his head and let out a sigh.

Lin Xuan Qi directed his Five-Element Qi to the talisman and it gave out a glow before he disappeared out of Lee He Song’s sight.

Then, he got out from behind the stack of firewood and water pots beside the tea stall.

He started to walk across the dark and silent street.

One of the Qing Feng Sect disciples thought he heard something and he glanced over in Lin Xuan Qi’s direction.
