Chu Xu went silent for a moment and took a sip from her teacup before she said something again.

"Thanks the heaven that you didn’t go.

"There was something bad that had happened in the secret realm.

Lin Xuan Qi pretended to be surprised, leaned forward and asked, "What do you mean by many not making it out again? Isn’t the Qing Feng Sect in charge of it?"

Did the other sects and clans or even the emperor know what they were up to?

He could only speculate and be wary of the Qing Feng Sect from now on.

Chu Xu nodded her head and said, "It was just a passing remark. I’m glad to see you safe and sound here."

They went on and chatted about other matters like the business climate in Gui Feng City and how his retail stores would be.

Lin Xuan Qi bid her farewell and he promised to send her a bunch of the products from the retail stores when they opened for business.

Chu Xu walked him to the gates this time and he left for the retail stores shortly after.

At the retail stores, the workers were rushing with the refurnishing and they would be able to complete it soon.

Bai Xun was already in the process of getting the retail store staff and it was around ten staff per store.

When Bai Xun was done, they went back to the inn together and Lin Xuan Qi began to teach Bai Xun on the training for the staff and handed over the operations manual to him.

Bai Xun with his experience in the factory and dealing with business for many years picked up everything quickly and Lin Xuan Qi was pleased with his decision to let Bai Xun handle it.

Having someone capable like Bai Xun finally allowed him the luxury of being much more hands off in the operations of the retail stores here.

"Lao Er and Ling Er, where are you." The low coarse voice came from the incense urn in the cave and this time, they were ready by its side.

"We are here Grand Ancestor Lin." Lao Er replied and Ling Er, who was by his side, nodded her head.

"How is your progress so far?"

"We worked hard, cultivating all day, and only stopped for food and other necessities."

"Core Formation Level?" The low coarse voice said and went silent.

Lao Er lowered his head thinking that he might have angered Grand Ancestor Lin.
