Mr Fu, I Really Love You

Chapter 952 - To Fu Huai’an His Wife Was the Most Important

Chapter 952: To Fu Huai’an, His Wife Was the Most Important

Tuan Tuan looked up, an earnest look on his flushed face as he politely rejected her. “No, thank you!”

Song Yao laughed, tickled by this little adult. She wasn’t at all embarrassed by the rejection, simply feeling that Tuan Tuan was too adorable!

After dinner, Song Yao and Cen Mo were engrossed in playing games with Tuan Tuan, while Tuan Tuan was preoccupied with feeding Mama delicious fruit in between playing the games.

After playing for a bit, Tuan Tuan bounced to Lin Nuan and stood on his tiptoes, sending the apple that the servants had cut to Lin Nuan’s mouth. He then bounced back to continue playing flight chess with Song Yao and Cen Mo for a bit.

Tuan Tuan felt a little bliss today because Papa and Mama were both around. Although they both looked like they were busy, having his parents right by his side, Tuan Tuan felt very blissful!

That was especially so since there was also his uncle and aunt playing with him!

Speaking of playing, Tuan Tuan thought of Little Candy and Little Happy…

He wondered if Little Candy and Little Happy missed him. He also wondered if they went to the amusement park like the three of them had agreed upon.

Tuan Tuan rubbed his eyes, very happy but a tad tired. He walked to Lin Nuan’s side, climbed onto the sofa, and sat down next to her. He then leaned against Lin Nuan and extended his neck to look at her tablet’s screen.

Lin Nuan smiled and pulled Tuan Tuan into her arms, letting him see the movie storyboard that the director had drawn. “Tuan Tuan, do you think this is nice?”

Lin Nuan wasn’t expecting a kid to understand. It was just that the storyboard was too well done. It was like a real-life drawing. That was why Lin Nuan was showing the storyboard to Tuan Tuan like a picture book.

Tuan Tuan nodded and pointed to a female reporter who had injuries on her face and was waving the national flag up high on a medium-sized bus and asked, “Mama?”

“Right, this is the role Mama is playing!” Lin Nuan swiped on the screen, and the second storyboard appeared before Tuan Tuan’s eyes.

Seeing a troop of soldiers wearing special forces uniforms, Tuan Tuan tapped at the tablet’s screen, his eyes suddenly lit up, not at all looking sleepy anymore. “Papa!”

When Tuan Tuan and Fu Huai’an were still in the US, Tuan Tuan had seen a photo of his papa wearing such a uniform among Fu Huai’an’s old belongings in the attic!

The Papa in that photo was the same as the characters in the storyboard, holding a sniper rifle and walking at the forefront.

Fu Huai’an, who was sorting through his email, looked up and saw Lin Nuan stroking Tuan Tuan on his head. “Right… Papa!”

Lin Nuan then looked in Fu Huai’an’s direction. “Back when we were in Iraq, Papa wore a combat uniform like this, his face full of camouflage makeup. He found Tuan Tuan and Mama in the grass pile of a goat enclosure and brought Tuan Tuan and Mama home safely!”

Tuan Tuan turned his head towards Fu Huai’an…

“This is called a bulletproof vest. Back then, Papa removed his bulletproof vest for us to put on, and Papa let Mama hide behind him with you in my arms to hide from those bad people. At that time… your papa was awfully handsome!” Lin Nuan gazed at Fu Huai’an as she said this, unable to conceal the loving look in her eyes.

Lin Nuan lowered her head and couldn’t resist rubbing Tuan Tuan’s soft little face when she saw the adorable Tuan Tuan. She said to Tuan Tuan, “If it weren’t for Papa, Tuan Tuan and Mama wouldn’t be sitting here together today…”

Initially, he was still a little mad at Fu Huai’an, but upon hearing Lin Nuan’s words, Tuan Tuan’s anger was somewhat appeased.

Although Papa had abandoned him to secretly look for Mama today and was fierce with him during dinner, if it weren’t for Papa, Tuan Tuan wouldn’t be able to lean against Mama like this! In that case, Tuan Tuan could forgive Papa for anything!

Tuan Tuan thought about it and decided to forgive Papa!

Hence, Tuan Tuan edged his head closer to Lin Nuan and looked up at her, asking, “Then… I, I forgive… Papa?”

Lin Nuan nodded and said with a smile, “Why don’t you let Papa accompany you to sleep today and read you a picture book? Then, if you praise Papa for being handsome, Papa will definitely be very happy!”

The little one climbed down the sofa and bounced upstairs, then found his favorite picture book in his luggage before jumping back downstairs to Fu Huai’an. He held the picture book with both hands and frowned at the laptop on Fu Huai’an’s lap, hesitating about whether he should interrupt Fu Huai’an while he was working.

“What happened?” Fu Huai’an asked.

Tuan Tuan’s eyes lit up upon hearing Fu Huai’an’s voice. He then ran over.

He thought about it, then hugged his favorite picture book to his chest and pushed away the laptop on Fu Huai’an’s lap, trying his best to climb onto Fu Huai’an’s lap. He raised the picture book up and said, “Sleep…”

It was already nine, so it was indeed time for Tuan Tuan to go to bed.

Fu Huai’an took the picture book from Tuan Tuan and asked him, “Not angry anymore?”

Tuan Tuan nodded earnestly.

“Why aren’t you angry anymore?” Fu Huai’an casually set the picture book aside.

The little one turned around and glanced at Lin Nuan. He saw Lin Nuan smiling at him encouragingly, so he picked up the picture book and raised it before his chest, saying in a soft and cute voice, “Papa handsome!”

These words succeeded in pleasing Fu Huai’an. He nodded. “Okay… I’ll read a picture book to you!”

“Let Lu Jinnan take care of the conference meeting later!” Fu Huai’an instructed Little Lu.

Little Lu nodded. He understood… to Fu Huai’an, his wife was the most important, and his son was the most important!

It was just that it was tough on President Lu. It wasn’t easy being single…

The little one rubbed his eyes, then earnestly sat in Fu Huai’an’s arms, his soft body leaning against Fu Huai’an’s chest. He looked at the picture book as Fu Huai’an read to him, but within several minutes, the little one was leaning sideways in Fu Huai’an’s arms, sound asleep.

Lin Nuan carried Tuan Tuan upstairs, and Song Yao followed…

Downstairs, Cen Mo lit a cigarette. Seeing Lin Nuan’s careful back view, there was a somewhat warm feeling in his heart. He said to Fu Huai’an, “Lin Nuan truly treats Tuan Tuan well…”

Because he was together with Tuan Tuan today, Cen Mo restrained himself from smoking the entire day, fearing it might have adverse effects on the child. Now that Tuan Tuan was sleeping upstairs, Cen Mo could indulge…

“Back then, Lin Nuan was the one who rescued Tuan Tuan!” Fu Huai’an retracted his gaze from Lin Nuan and looked towards Cen Mo.

Cen Mo nodded and shifted the cigarette from his lips. He drew a cigarette from the pack and handed it to Fu Huai’an. “I learned that from a brief investigation into those events. I admit that I was prejudiced against Lin Nuan in the past!”

Fu Huai’an laughed softly. He waved, indicating that he didn’t smoke, and mocked Cen Mo, saying, “How difficult it is to have Mr. Cen admit to his mistake…”

“Is it as difficult as inviting Mr. Fu to our place to stay for a few days?” Cen Mo exhaled a thin layer of smoke and pulled the ashtray on the coffee table closer to him. He propped himself against the carpet and got to his feet, then turned around and said to Fu Huai’an, “If you’re not planning on getting rid of Ah Zhan, let me do it…”

Cen Mo’s men had informed him that Ah Zhan was still alive. This led Cen Mo to wonder if this was Fu Huai’an being too merciful, so he spoke in a testing manner.
