The woman chuckled, pointing at Su Ke'er. "Her? Aren't you afraid she'll just hold you back?"

"Bringing a woman to a rescue... I really don't know what you were thinking," the man said, shaking his head. He then pointed at Ma Xuan, who was slung over Lin Mu's shoulder. "Or did you think you could use this piece of trash as a bargaining chip?"

At this, they both roared with laughter.

"A bargaining chip?" Lin Mu chuckled. "You're giving him way too much credit."

As the words left his lips, Lin Mu casually tossed Ma Xuan. The man, weighing over a hundred and fifty pounds, went flying and crashed to the ground right in front of the couple.

THUD!

Ma Xuan was jolted awake by the pain and began to howl. But a moment later, he started to laugh foolishly, drool and snot streaming down his face.

One of his arms and one of his legs had been broken by Lin Mu. Combined with the effects of the Soul Search technique, Ma Xuan, though not dead, was now no different from an imbecile.
