Chapter 132: Two Great Meteor Techniques Winged Demon Falls

"Ssshhh—ssshhh—..."

After seven consecutive space jumps, Lor finally arrived within fifteen thousand miles of the previously locked demon.

As the mark became clear, he used his Spiritual Power to activate the Great Meteor Rune Model, releasing perception towards the mark.

A Winged Demon, over six hundred miles tall with a wingspan of over four hundred miles, was flapping its wings, rapidly heading north towards the Endless Sea.

Every time its wings extended, a massive amount of Abyssal Energy would escape.

This Abyssal Energy clung to its wings, propelling it to fly even faster.

"It really is a Winged Demon, no wonder it's so fast," Lor smirked, placing a primary mark on the Winged Demon once again.

He didn't hurry to unleash the Great Meteor Technique but instead took out a Magic Crystal to restore the Elemental Energy in his Sea of Consciousness.

The seven space jumps had consumed thirty-five percent of his Elemental Energy.

Although the remaining Elemental Energy in the Sea of Consciousness was barely enough to unleash the Great Meteor Technique, he still had to guard against the Winged Demon making a counterattack, didn't he?

Moments later.

"Ssshhh—"

Restoring all Elemental Energy, Lor executed another space jump, traversing again to the sky fifteen thousand miles from the fourth-tier Winged Demon, triggering the Great Meteor Rune Model in his Sea of Consciousness.

Divine Realm Space meteorite aggregation.

War God List empowerment.

Swooping down.

Gravity Technique empowerment!

"Woo—"

A Meteor, one hundred and fifty miles in diameter, with interwoven gold and red, exuding terrifying energy fluctuations, leaped from the Divine Realm Space, appearing in the Material Plane, aiming to smash into the rapidly flying Winged Demon.

This time, the golden radiance of the Meteor was even more dazzling, nearly twice as intense as before.

"Ssshhh—"

Immediately after casting the Meteor Technique, Lor simultaneously triggered the Space Jump Rune Model, retreating seventeen thousand miles.

He took out a Magic Crystal, waiting for his Spiritual Power to relax before restoring Elemental Energy.

After all, he wasn't afraid of losing track—if one Great Meteor couldn't kill it, he could just try a second one later; there was no rush.

"Damn it, clearly I'm the fastest, why are they chasing me?" The Winged Demon, sensing the Meteor plunging towards it from the sky, was full of reluctance, confusion, and despair.

This kind of Meteor, capable of killing Haral in an instant, it didn't think it would be an exception.

"Let's fight!" The Winged Demon gritted its teeth, unwilling to sit and wait for death. It halted, spreading its wings, and with all its might, flapped fiercely towards the descending Meteor.

Learning from Haral's death, it knew the Power of Origin seemed useless against this kind of Meteor Witchcraft, so it didn't even consider using it.

"Whoosh whoosh—"

Two blood-red streams of light, over two hundred miles in diameter, simultaneously attacked the Meteor.

At a distance of only ten thousand miles from the Meteor, they suddenly merged into one, transforming into a massive Abyssal Energy torrent, over three hundred and fifty miles in diameter, attacking the Meteor at a faster speed.

The Winged Demon didn't wait for the result of the collision between the Abyssal Energy torrent and the Meteor, but instead flapped its wings again, flying towards the Betula Continent.

Since speed was no use, it decided to return and escape with the other demons.

"Boom—"

In the rear, a part of the golden radiance from the Meteor transformed into a golden barrier, initially colliding with the Abyssal Energy torrent.

Upon their collision, the golden barrier quickly dimmed, but it wasn't instantly shattered.

The Meteor cleaved through the Abyssal torrent, dividing the vast torrent into two.

"Crack—"

Upon passing through half the Abyssal torrent, the golden barrier on the Meteor shattered, and the Meteor itself collided with the Abyssal torrent.

"Crash—"

The Abyssal torrent struck the Meteor, only corroding less than half a mile of its outer meteorite shell before the Meteor completely split it in two.

Breaking through the Abyssal torrent, the Meteor continued towards the Winged Demon, which hadn't escaped too far.

The Winged Demon didn't pause anymore, instead, its wings quivered, erecting an Abyssal Energy Defense Barrier around itself, continuing to fly towards the Betula Continent.

The nearly untouched meteorite proved that counterattacks were futile.

"Oh, is it really making a counterattack?" Lor noted the Winged Demon, now within his perception range again, and breathed a quiet sigh of relief. "Fortunately, I was cautious, otherwise, I might have directly encountered the Winged Demon."

Even if he did meet it head-on, he could escape using the Space Jumping Witchcraft, but being caught within the Winged Demon's perception range would significantly increase the danger.

The current Void Realm Witchcraft didn't give him the confidence to endure a fourth-tier attack head-on.

"Ssshhh—"

Lor directly executed the Space Jumping Witchcraft, leaping seventeen thousand miles southeast to wherever there was no secondary mark.

"Crash—crack—"

Just then, the Meteor finally caught up with the continuously fleeing Winged Demon, instantly shattering its surrounding Defense Barrier and striking its back.

"Ugh—boom—"

The Winged Demon's wail and the Meteor's explosion echoed simultaneously, the sound reverberating for thousands of miles.

Moments later.

As the explosion's aftershock faded, a Winged Demon with severely damaged limbs and wings reduced to bone frames appeared at the explosion's center.

"Seventy percent of the source,"

The Winged Demon was releasing the scant Power of Origin from its shattered core to repair its body, a chill in its heart. "Just one Meteor consumed seventy percent of my source. If there's another one..."

It was both repairing its body and flapping its skeletal wings, spewing Abyssal Energy to propel itself forward.

Now its flight speed was more than ten times slower than when uninjured.

It still wanted to flee, not willing to die like this; it hadn't indulged in human souls enough yet.

On the other side.

"Ssshhh—"

Lor, having restored his Elemental Energy, executed a space jump, once again arriving fifteen thousand miles away from the Winged Demon.

"It's quite tragic," he remarked upon sensing the Winged Demon's situation. His eyes were cold as he reactivated the Great Meteor Rune Model in his Sea of Consciousness.

Abyssal Demons and Wizards were absolute adversaries, with no room for reconciliation.

And because lower-level Abyssal Demons were too chaotic in consciousness to be domesticated as slaves, they weren't even qualified to form a slave army.

Their only use was to be raised in the lowest Abyss, to be killed for Bloodline Wizards to transform into Abyssal Wizards.

After activating the Great Meteor Rune Model this time, Lor did not activate the Space Jumping Witchcraft again.

The current Winged Demon was just a post-season locust; there was no fear of it jumping again.

"Woo—"

The second Meteor appeared, continuing its assault towards the Winged Demon.

"I'm not willing!" The Winged Demon sensed the emergence of a second Meteor, unleashing an earth-shaking roar, yet its heart was full of despair.

It knew it was finished.

"Boom—kaboom—"

Once again, the Meteor crashed into the Winged Demon's body, exploding.

This time, the Winged Demon was directly blown to pieces.

"Ssshhh—"

Seeing this, Lor immediately executed a space jump, moving closer to collect the Winged Demon's remaining valuable body materials and Abyss Crystals into his Space Ring, and then continued his search for the next fast-moving, isolated target.
