Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 607: What's the rush?

The System's notification of the completion of the second task and the issuance of the third, the last in the chain, made Idan think. There were a lot of questions in his head that he wanted to find answers to.

One of the most important is where is his adoptive father Adam now? Even the System itself couldn't pinpoint his exact location, hiding it behind "???".

"Is that really why the 'Threads of One Blood' artifact couldn't determine its exact location? Could it be that he is not on Earth?" Idan wondered.

Another question that worried him was whether he should continue to investigate and look for the owner of these four red threads.

But he quickly realized that his own curiosity had already been piqued. Regardless of whether he needed it already or not, he was going to figure it out and put an end to it.

Arabel was very surprised when she received the message that Idan had completed the second task. She looked at him in disbelief, wondering how he had managed it. However, her thoughts soon focused on the upcoming wedding ceremony.

The Third Disaster was about three weeks away, and no one knew when it would happen. According to the recommendation of the System, they needed to get married during this time.

Arabel didn't want to risk delaying the wedding, but she didn't want to rush it either. She had to prepare herself: choose a place, purchase the necessary things. She was already starting to feel a little panicky thinking about it.

Ivette watched with a smile as her older sister and Idan finally met.

Idan's younger sister, Ina, couldn't understand what was going on.

"Mom," she called her mother to ask what was going on here.

"Ina, come here," — Inessa called.

After a moment's hesitation, Ina approached her mother, looking from her to Idan in disbelief. Suddenly, she remembered Idan's words, and her heart skipped a beat.

"Wasn't he lying when he said he was my older brother?" she wondered.

"Ina, meet Idan," — Inessa said, wiping away a tear and looking at her son with a smile.

"Hmm, I know," Ina nodded, waiting with bated breath for what her mother would say.

"And he's your big brother."

Hearing this, Ina's eyes widened, despite the fact that she had already begun to suspect the truth. She stared blankly at Idan, and he smiled back.

"I told you," he said.

"No way!" Ina blurted out. "I thought you were joking!"

Irene couldn't help but smile as she watched Ina's reaction. She even shared with Arabel what had happened between the two, and Arabel, upon hearing this, couldn't help but laugh too.

Inessa was a little sad to see that her son wasn't showing much interest in her, but remembering that he had grown up without even knowing about her existence, she decided to put up with it for now.

"Idan," she called, drawing her son's attention to her. "Um...I was told that you're wearing a disguise..."

"Oh, yeah, "— Idan said, remembering that he hadn't taken off his Ghost Mask yet.

"Well, Ina has already found out that I am her older brother," he thought, and took off his Mask, revealing his true appearance to Inessa, Ina, and Elira.

"Ah!" all three of them gasped at the same time.

"Why is he so attractive?" Ina was indignant, and immediately mentally added, "Oh, and why does he have to be my older brother?"

With these thoughts, she looked at Irene, blushing deeply, pouting, and expressing her displeasure. It was only later that she noticed a red-haired beauty next to Irene, whom she recognized as Arslan's older sister.

"Ah!" exclaimed Ina again, struck by Arabel's beauty.

Inessa, seeing what an attractive young man her son had become, could not contain her joy and smile.

Idan, on the other hand, felt uncomfortable under the scrutiny of all these women.

After staying in the spotlight for a while longer, he excused himself and, taking Arabel and Irene with him, teleported to a secluded place in the Ring of the Seasons.

Idan teleported a surprised Elira to Essora and asked her to keep an eye on her and keep her company for a while.

She agreed to his request without any dissatisfaction.

"Hmm..." — Arslan looked around, appearing next to Idan.

"Why did you bring us here?" asked Irene, puzzled, not understanding what her brother was up to.

Idan glanced at Arabel, and she smiled at him, realizing his intentions. Without a word, they began to take out a table and chairs.

"Let's sit down," Arabel said to Arslan and Irene. "We need to discuss something with you, and it's going to be a long conversation."

Intrigued by Arabel's words, they took their seats, and Idan took out a tea service and began making tea.

While waiting for tea, Irene and Arabel briefly told Arslan about recent events, not forgetting to mention Elira and the fact that they had discovered the presence of outsiders from another world.

"By the way, Irene, did you notice how much Elira's expression changed when Inessa introduced Idan to Ina and called him her older brother?" asked Arslan.

"Yes, I also noticed that," Irene nodded. "We will need to keep an eye on her and, if possible, find out what surprised her so much."

"I guess Elira was shocked to learn that I, like my younger sister, am a descendant of the Blake family", Idan suggested. "After all, Ina and I have the same father, Adrian Blake."

"Who would have thought that I would turn out to be the scion of an influential family after all?" said Idan ironically, glancing at his sister with a slight smile.

In response, she just smiled sheepishly.

When the tea was ready, Idan poured it into four cups, and the four of them took a short pause, enjoying the aroma of the drink in silence.

"Sister, Arslan," Idan said, putting down his cup.

"We have invited you here to discuss what we have been silent about and what we have been hiding from you," he began.

"But first of all," Arabel interjected, blushing deeply, glancing at Idan and sighing. In one breath, she said, "We wanted to announce to you two that we are going to get married soon."

"And we hope that you will help us with the organization of this event," Idan added.

The couple looked at Irene and Arslan in silence, who, to their surprise, took the news calmly. Irene, putting down her cup, looked at them and asked:

"What's the rush?"
