Malron listened to Ethan's simple wish. He turned to Elara, ordering her to take Ethan home to be treated.
"Elara will follow Chief Malron's command."
After receiving the order from the Telmarian Tribe Chief, Ethan and Elara stood up and left the village square.
Ethan's simple wish surprised everyone, especially since he had helped defeat the Eternal Tree Monster that had plagued their village for hundreds of years.
Once Ethan and Elara left the square, Malron immediately commanded all the village men to begin relocating the tribe—from their temporary village back to their original one.
"Everyone! Start packing your things. We'll work together to rebuild our old village," Malron said.
His words filled the men with enthusiasm. They became more hopeful, realizing that they finally had the chance to return to their true home.
Meanwhile, Ethan arrived at Elara's house, specifically in the room prepared for his recovery. Elara let out a soft sigh, relieved after meeting with Chief Malron.
"You could've asked for many things from our tribe chief," Elara said.
"I didn't want to take that opportunity. I only defeated the banyan monster because I was trapped there."
"I see," Elara replied.
"Besides, I doubt your tribe could grant what I truly want. So, I decided not to ask for anything more," Ethan said.
Elara went silent for a moment, her gaze fixed on Ethan as he lay back on the bed to rest.
"What is it that you really want?" she asked.
Ethan stayed quiet. When she asked him that, he couldn't even be sure himself.
What he did know was that the Telmarian Tribe, being just native inhabitants of the tower, could never fulfill his real wish. That much he was certain of, no matter what happened.
"I… don't know."
Elara said nothing and sighed softly. Ethan had already expressed his wish, and Malron had granted it. There was no obligation for her to help him ask for more.
"Get some rest. I'll come three times a day to check on your condition," Elara said as she stood and walked toward the door.
"I'll prepare a recovery potion for you. You must drink it regularly three times a day, after I've checked on you," she added.
"Do you understand?"
Ethan nodded briefly, showing that he understood everything she said. He would also do his best to recover faster than expected.
Elara predicted that Ethan would fully recover by the third day if he followed her instructions from the start. Soon after, Elara left the room, leaving Ethan alone to focus on healing.
Leon and Risa must be worried since I haven't come back. If I can recover faster by tomorrow, I'll go back to the village and see them right away.
For now, Ethan decided to use his free time to allocate his attribute points. He had at least sixty points to distribute.
By doing so, he could strengthen his stats like STR and others, improving his overall power.
"All right. Time to use this chance to grow stronger."

The next day.
Telmarian Tribe Village.
Ethan used his recovery time well. He called Neryss to help speed up the healing process—depending on Elara alone wasn't efficient.
His body no longer felt stiff or sore and could move freely again. When noon turned to dusk, Elara entered the room for her usual check-up.
She was shocked to see Ethan standing tall, the cup of potion already empty in his hand. Elara had expected him to recover in two more days, but her prediction was clearly wrong.
"Wait! How did you heal so quickly?" Elara asked.
Ethan turned around to face her, smiling as he explained that he used the power of his soul servant to accelerate his recovery.
Elara was stunned; she never expected Ethan to have a soul servant. A soul servant was a precious thing—one could multiply a person's strength many times over.
"What kind of power? What kind of soul servant?" Elara asked.
"A water-element Soul Servant," Ethan answered.
"Water element, huh? That really suits healing."
Ethan nodded. He was lucky to have Neryss, a soul servant that greatly helped his recovery. Elara honestly felt relieved that Ethan had that kind of support.
After Ethan had completely healed from his wounds, he had no choice but to return to the village and reunite with Leon. He was sure that both Leon and Risa must be worried about him.
Elara understood Ethan's decision. She stepped forward and invited him to walk outside.
On the main road of the village, they saw people working together to relocate their homes from the temporary settlement back to their original village.
The men helped one another, while the women prepared supplies for the workers assigned to the relocation effort.
"So, now that the Eternal Tree Monster is gone, everyone's moving back to the old village?" Ethan asked.
Elara nodded slightly. She explained that their true home was indeed the old village. Now that the Eternal Tree Monster was dead, they would willingly return.
They could have stayed in the temporary village, but its location—too close to another tribe's land—made Malron decide to move everyone back.
It was a wise decision, especially since the old village held deep meaning for them, no matter what.
"Who are you at odds with?" Ethan asked.
"The Blood-Cursed Tribe."
Blood-Cursed? Wait… I didn't expect them to be enemies of the Telmarian Tribe.
"I never thought your tribe would be at odds with them," Ethan said.
"Wait, you know the Blood-Cursed Tribe?" Elara asked.
"Many outsiders from the first floor know about them. Of course, I do."
I don't know what to do. Telling her about Risa wouldn't be good for her.
It's better to keep Risa's identity a secret from them.
When Ethan reached the village gate, he immediately said goodbye to Elara. She smiled and waved her hand, thanking him for saving their old village from the Eternal Tree Monster.
But before he could truly leave, Chief Malron appeared with two elders by his side. Elara instinctively turned and bowed her head in respect.
"You're leaving already?" Malron asked. Ethan nodded in response.
"I see. I understand."
"The relocation is taking place today. Everyone will be moving back to our old village," Malron said.
"I'm sorry for the destruction of your old village," Ethan replied.
"It's all right. You've helped us more than enough. We were planning to rebuild everything from the ground up anyway."
Chief Malron reached into his pocket and took out a sacred pendant—an heirloom recognized by Telmarian tribe chiefs across the other floors.
Normally, the pendant was only given to someone who had done great service to the Telmarian Tribe, but Malron was willing to break tradition and hand it to an outsider like Ethan.
[Congratulations, you have obtained an item]
[Emerald Light Pendant (Epic)]
"What's this?" Ethan asked, accepting the pendant.
"If you ever face trouble and meet any of our tribe members on another floor, just show them that pendant. They'll recognize you as one of us," Malron explained.
Elara smiled. It was the highest honor an outsider could ever receive from the Telmarian Tribe. To her, Ethan was truly fortunate to be granted such an item.
"Thank you. Your gift means a lot to me," Ethan said.
"Until we meet again, Sir Ethan."
