As they sat around and ate, Carl looked at Scylla and asked an unusually clear question. "Scylla, you have the eyes of Lycaon if I'm not wrong. Do you mind looking into mine quickly? I want to try something."

"Okay..." Scylla stared into Carl's eyes. "...Whatever it is can you hurry up?"

"Not sure, but don't wanna drag this out. Lycaon, if you're watching right now, I'd like to meet. I'll be where Whitechapel once stood in five days. Ask Gaia if you can meet me there at dawn, she'll give you specifics if she agrees."

"I guess..." Scylla spoke the words seemingly at random, then stood.

"Whatever you have to say Lycaon, make it quick, possessing a young lady's body is most invasive." Kyubi said.

"I agree, I wanted you to have certainty. I'll see you there young human." Scylla's body jerked quickly then she resumed her normal demeanor.

"How did you know he was watching?"

"I didn't, the eyes always pulse with divinity, I just guessed."

"Well, thank you Lady Kyubi, he wanted to drag the chat out a bit until you warned him against it."

"No worries dear and Kyubi will suffice I'm Carl and Klaire's Lady exclusively now." She said with a wink.

"How's it going by the way? It was painful watching Lillim make you keep it secret all that time."

"Amazing, thank you very much. I never dreamed my feelings would be reciprocated, let alone Klaire expressing interest as well, I feel like the laws are finally compensating me for my loss."

"I'm confused... Gil told me about Carl and Klaire when we met, he described Klaire as obsessively possessive of him like a normal banshee."

They then told Scylla the whole story, which took most of the night.

"Wow, so you guys have actually had a lot to deal with. I feel bad, I thought you were mostly just goofing off and restarting the equality war."

"Wait, really... Guys, have we not actually made sure everyone knows everything happening?"

"You mean outright said, "join us we're going to war with the creator of the system and some others, but we're not too sure and are waiting to see how it goes"? No mate, we haven't."

"Sure it sounds bad like that, but we're neutral, so that makes it better right?"

"Sure, We're going to defeat the creator of the system with beach realms and boogie nights. Oh and we're going to be going for non-intervention with the committee. Do you want us to tell them who your parents might be?"

"Too far Gillian..." The calm warning from Kyubi came from behind a glass, whilst Klaire was speed chewing to say it

"Sorry, but who are his parents?"

"Leanna and Alisha, the ladies that raised him into the fine man he is. His origins are far more complicated, certainly tied to the elder god Ishtar, a master of creation like him. Sis, is actually a unique system created by her for Carl.

The mystery, is whether he is her biological son, or one of her creations. If it is the former, then his father could only be the same creator of the system that we aim to defeat. It's not a secret mind, simply a painful topic that we don't wish him to endure."

"Sorry for asking..." Scylla said as she gave Gillian a side-long punch for bringing it up.

"Not your fault and you already hit him, so don't worry about it."

Scylla changed the subject quickly and by the time they left, they were pretty well acquainted and then the three adults cleaned up.

"Mum Klaire, can you take me to bed tonight?"

"Yes, Sweetie. Speaking of bed, where's your sisters and brother?"

"On their way back, they got real sleepy and fell asleep, Sophie was too busy petting them to let them go, then Levi and Squidge fell asleep, then Sophie and Blanc fell asleep gaming."

"Well, teleport them to their beds please. Don't want the girls out when we're going to bed."

Tiamutael yawned, then replied. "Okay, they're in bed..." Klaire knelt down and cuddled him.

"Such a good boy Tiamutael, make sure to take care of your sisters while we're away."

"Course Mum."

After that everyone went to sleep pretty quickly, waking up to Aegis knocking on the door slightly later than they would usually wake up.

"Apologies, I came to ask if you would like the children taken to school. Leanna and Alisha missed them yesterday."

"No, that's fine, I think we'll take them to school today."

The three of them got out of bed, prepared breakfast and then got the kids up, dressed and fed.

"Is this the first time you've been to the school?"

"Yeah, not really had any reason to go."

"Well, you'll like this then."

Tiamutael teleported them to the school, which was far bigger than Carl had expected.

"When the hell did this get built?"

Kyubi explained it was built when the issue of schooling first came up, future-proofed for population growth.

Carl was so impressed that it seemed a shame to level it when the orbital station was finished and seeing the kids arrive in Alysse's vehicles, say goodbye to their parents and look excited to learn and play filled Carl with a nostalgia that surprised him.

"Never thought that I'd be dropping kids off at school to be taught by my mums."

"Not to mention Blaine, Noah, Kon and several other volunteers. Lillim also pops in sometimes to teach a self-defence class every so often."

"You've taught here as well, right Kyubi?"

"Yes, not much, but I teach eastern-earth hist-"

"Miss Kyubi!..." A girl, about the same age as Carl and Klaire, shouted suddenly before running up to them. "...Are you going to be teaching today?"

"I wasn't planning on it, but would you like me to?"

"Yes please! I want to learn more about history and... Sorry, was I interrupting?"

Kyubi and the others chuckled briefly.

"Don't worry, we're happy to be interrupted by someone wanting to learn." Carl replied, amused that she seemed confused by his words. He could understand it, they were about the same age, but Carl and Klaire felt like their schooling on SATS had ended a lifetime ago.

"Okay, well I just wanted to learn more about history, your history includes stuff the other teacher's don't."

"Well, I suppose it helps that I was there for more than I care to admit..." Kyubi looked back shyly at the two she was in a relationship with and seemed to age before their eyes for a second. "...Carl, mind if I stay and teach a class?"

"Why would I mind? It might be good to have you around for Raziel on her first day."

"Kyubi, who is the man holding Tiamutael and the woman holding that light girl?"

"Oh, I suppose they don't really get seen much. These are my partners, Carl and his wife Klaire, the girl is our new daughter Raziel."

"You're that Carl!? Sorry Mr. Carl, I want to say thank you for our home and the school. My Dad told me to thank you for the things I like if I ever met you. He said you two were young, but I didn't think you'd be my kind of age."

"Well you really don't need to.We're building this place together and I din't even know the school was like this, thank the people who built it by appreciating it."

The girl nodded, then Tiamutael asked to be put down and then Kitsunoko and Raziel followed his lead as he walked off.

"Is he okay?" Carl asked, a little bit concerned with the abruptness.

"He probably saw his favourite teacher arrive. Mr. Remus teaches physical education and basic self-defence, Tiamutael, really enjoys sports and sparring, guess he's more dragon than he shows." Kyubi said as she watched them walk away. "Oh, sorry Lacey. You got your wish and I'm teaching today, is there anything else?"

"I was just thinking... Would it be possible to have Carl teach us creation? My Dad said it's thanks to him we could build so quickly."

"Unfortunately, I don't know how I do it, I'm a bit of a cheater. I think Bahamut or Tiamat might be the better teachers. Out of curiosity, how old are you? If you have a system, I have an idea for a special class."

"I'm eighteen, I was supposed to be starting my final year at SATS this year..."

"Right, perfect, time to disrupt class..."

[ FACTION MESSAGE FROM CARL : EVERYONE REMAIN CALM, I'M HAVING TIAMUTAEL BRING EVERYBODY OUT TO US. ]

A split second later, they were surrounded by everyone that had been on the school grounds.

"Carl, explain..." Leanna and Alisha said.

"Hey everyone! I'm Carl, leader of the faction. Sorry to disrupt your day, I just came to make a few improvements to your school and begin the a special tradition."

"...What do you mean, "a special tradition"?" They continued after he ignored them.

Carl Explained that he was adding a system display room, similar to the one they had at home but bigger and with private rooms.

"From now on, every year, I'm going to come to this school and give the eighteen year-olds a pet that will help them do whatever job it is that they want. On top of that, I have just built a system display room. if you need advice on your system or future, I'm sure that you're teachers or parents would be happy to have a look and make suggestions." Carl announced to whispered discussion.

"What are you waiting for!? When he says pet, he means a creature like Coral or Lochán!" Leanna shouted as she shook her head.

All of a sudden, all the final years stepped over to one side.
