The Forsaken's Revenge

Chapter 360 You Can't Possibly Kill Me!

A piercing sound tore through the air. Just as the two were about to make their escape, they felt a sudden chill on their backs.

They looked down at the same time, their expressions filled with unprecedented shock.

Then, their gazes dimmed. The strength seemed to drain from their bodies, and they collapsed to the ground almost simultaneously.

How… how is this possible?

Until the moment they breathed their last, neither could understand why they had met such an end.

What sort of terrifying ability does that kid possess?

Silence fell once again, and everyone's expression was completely numb.

Two experts who had reached the half-step Grandmaster realm… had they really been slain just like that?

At this point, no one even dared to breathe too loudly. He had killed three half-step Grandmasters with such ease, completely defying everyone's expectations.

"You from Yanzhou… Are you really not coming down to avenge them?" Chen Zheng said, suddenly looking up at Wang Chang.

At this point, he was the only Alliance Hierarch left.

Seeing Chen Zheng's gaze turn towards him, Wang Chang couldn't help but shiver, shaking his head frantically.

I didn't choose to go down earlier, so why would I go now? Does he really think I'm an idiot?

Faced with Chen Zheng's blatant provocation, Wang Chang bowed his head lower than anyone, looking as if he wanted to find a hole to crawl into.

Despair filled the eyes of Xu Tianlong and the others.

The situation had progressed to a point where no one could possibly defeat Chen Zheng. They had completely lost any chance of turning the tables.

Now, aside from a profound, heartfelt despair, they felt nothing else.

They were painfully aware that Chen Zheng would surely come to deal with them next.

Fan Xukun and Zheng Nantian, as Family Heads of top-tier clans, were trembling, staring dumbfounded at the scene below, their clothes completely soaked with sweat.

They had originally thought that with the full protection of the Alliance, nothing could possibly go wrong. Only now, witnessing the scene before them, did they realize they had been mistaken from the very beginning—spectacularly so.

Before this, they believed Jiangnan was the Alliance's domain. So what if Chen Zheng had military backing? In the face of true strength, all flashy tricks were meaningless.

They finally understood. This was true strength. In his eyes, their so-called great families were probably nothing more than bugs.

Fan Xukun was filled with a deep, gut-wrenching regret.

After all, unlike the others, he'd had a great opportunity to reconcile with Chen Zheng and join his side. But now, all regret was useless.

His entire family would likely be buried along with him.

At this moment, Zheng Nantian made a decisive move. Possessing some martial skill himself, he stepped forward to plead for mercy, crippling his own hands with a sickening crack of bone.

"Mr. Chen, I have crippled my own hands. I beg you to be merciful…"

"Two arms are far from enough!"

Before he could finish speaking, his legs exploded into a bloody mist.

"Trying to pull this stunt now? Where were you before?"

The moment he finished speaking, a powerful gust of wind sent Zheng Nantian flying backward, where he crashed violently into the spectator stands. He slammed into them, creating a large crater, and lay motionless inside, his fate unknown.

Fan Xukun, frantically wiping sweat from his forehead, dropped to his knees. "Mr. Chen, this is all my fault!

"Whether you kill me or flay me, I will accept my fate. I only beg you to spare my family! My family is innocent…"

Chen Zheng snapped his fingers expressionlessly. Fan Xukun's testicles exploded into a cloud of blood mist, crippling him completely.

"Trying to play the sympathy card now? It's meaningless to me."

As soon as Chen Zheng spoke, Fan Xukun was sent flying by an unseen force, crashing hard onto the ground, his fate unknown.

Zheng Qingyun and Fan Xukun were terrified. Beads of sweat dotted their foreheads, and they nearly collapsed as they scrambled backward.

Xu Tianlong, however, still had some courage left. Though his teeth chattered with terror, he still roared defiantly at Chen Zheng.

"You little bastard! Don't think your strength can defeat everything! I'm not afraid to tell you, this world is far more incredible than you can imagine!

"In the face of absolute authority, your strength is meaningless!"

"I'm not afraid of you! I'm absolutely not afraid of you!" Xu Tianlong screamed frantically.

After saying this, he turned his head to glance at Ma Wenyuan, who was standing not far away. That was his father, after all. He knew his father still had an ace up his sleeve.

"You're talking to me about authority?" Chen Zheng's brow furrowed slightly as he glanced at Ma Wenyuan. "So, it seems your father still has some cards he hasn't played yet, is that right?"

Meanwhile, Ma Wenyuan had already walked down from above, his expression blank as he spoke. "Release my son now, and from this moment on, we are no longer enemies."

"You don't seem qualified… to negotiate with me, do you?" Chen Zheng sneered before snapping his fingers.

Instantly, Xu Tianlong's arms and legs exploded, leaving only his torso writhing on the ground.

"Enjoy the rest of your life… properly." A cold smile touched Chen Zheng's lips as he looked at Ma Wenyuan again. "I'll give you one chance. Tell me what happened to my mother, and I'll grant you a quick death."

"Chen Zheng, you are far too arrogant," Ma Wenyuan said, his expression still calm. It was as if his own son being maimed before his eyes hadn't affected him in the slightest.

"I must admit," he began, "from the very beginning, I underestimated you. I never expected your martial strength to be so terrifying. But even so, compared to those great families, you are as weak and insignificant as an insect!

"The only reason I won't tell you the truth is to keep you from rushing to your death!"

At this point, he sighed deeply.

"You have three seconds. Any more nonsense, and you die." Chen Zheng had lost his patience.

He didn't know why the old man seemed so fearless, but no matter what, he could not be allowed to live. This was the man who killed his father. After so many years, he had this face firmly etched in his mind, a face he had already cut to pieces a thousand times over in his thoughts.

"You simply cannot kill me!" Confidence filled Ma Wenyuan's expression.
