Supreme Man

Chapter 476: Terrifying Methods (Part 2) (Fifth Update)

"Alright!" Ding Haoyun nodded and acknowledged, then steered Submarine No.2 towards the south.

Luo Yingxue on Miju Island stared in shock as Ye Hao and others destroyed twenty helicopters and then submerged into the sea.

When Luo Yingxue saw thousands of torpedoes being deployed into the sea, she became anxious. Could Ye Hao and his team avoid this disaster underwater? Or would they be blasted into oblivion under this torpedo barrage?

Dead fish and shrimp soon surfaced in great numbers, the bloody smell instantly enveloping the entire sea area. Even the millions of residents within Okinawa Island could catch a whiff of the scent, but they didn't come to investigate. After all, with so many warships deployed by Jiepeng, if they came and saw something they shouldn't, they might be killed by the Jiepeng people.

In the world of the Jiepeng people, only the Jiepeng are considered noble. All other vassal states, even those that submit to their embrace, are inconsequential at best.

Of course! Strategic islands like Okinawa are absolutely necessary for them to hold, because once Okinawa is annexed to Treasure Island, and Treasure Island forms a new government, it would inevitably surpass Jiepeng's national power since Treasure Island is always backed by the mainland.

"Please don't let anything happen! You have quite a few lovely wives waiting for you at home. If something happens to you, how could you face those four beautiful women?" Luo Yingxue silently prayed for Ye Hao, hoping nothing would happen to him.

The captain of the warship, seeing a large number of dead fish and shrimp floating up, ordered his men to check for human corpses, or to see if Ye Hao and his team had been blown to pieces, leaving behind any limbs or body parts.

"Sir, no human remains found," one of the captain's subordinates reported.

"Keep searching. I can't believe they could have sprouted wings and flown away. Don't report back until you find them," the captain ordered sternly, determined to find the remains of Ye Hao and his team.

Just after the captain issued his orders, Ohta Jiro at the military base on Okinawa Island called him.

Once the call connected, Ohta Jiro asked, "How is it? Are they dead? Did any of our men survive?"

The captain chuckled bitterly, "Mr. Ohta, you are too optimistic, aren't you? All twenty helicopter combatants were wiped out, and we just dropped thousands of torpedoes. We are currently searching for targets now."

"Good! Keep searching, but first turn on the video camera and let Mr. Shentian see you capture the Huaxia pigs with your own hands," Ohta Jiro instructed.

"Yes!" the captain responded, then turned on the video camera, transmitting the surrounding sea situation back to the Okinawa Island military base, from where the base commander forwarded the footage to Shentian Jiuzi.

At the Tokyo Army Command Headquarters:

Shentian Jiuzi roared, "Himeko, didn't you say they couldn't possibly be the Huaxia pigs? Why are they here again? What the hell is going on?"

Kawamoto Himeko remained silent. What could she say? Under normal circumstances, Ye Hao and his team could not have reached Miju Island on Okinawa so quickly, nor could they have known about the assassination plot and set an ambush for them.

He pondered internally whether there was an infiltrator within Jiepeng. Otherwise, how could they have prepared so well for Ye Hao's appearance right after the operation started?

"Silent, silent. When mocking me, weren't you all vocal? Himeko, you truly disappoint me. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have missed the opportunity, and I would have captured that group immediately," Shentian Jiuzi continued to roar.

Kawamoto Himeko listened quietly, even the sound of her typing becoming much softer.

Soon the video camera from the large battleship connected to them, and Kawamoto Himeko said, "General, this is the situation of the sea near Miju Island."

"Why are you showing me a bunch of dead fish and shrimp? Aren't you the best intelligence officer? Give me their exact location! I want them dead, do you understand?" Shentian Jiuzi shouted.

Meanwhile, Emperor Miyazaki at the Meiji Imperial Palace also received the news of Shentian Jiuzi's failed mission on Miju Island, Okinawa.

Emperor Miyazaki sneered in the Meiji Palace, thinking the descendants of the Shentian Clan were no better than this. He expected them to make significant contributions, yet they failed right after assuming office.

What Emperor Miyazaki didn't know was that not only did Shentian Jiuzi fail the mission but also had twenty aircraft destroyed.

If Emperor Miyazaki found out that Shentian Jiuzi's orders led to the loss of twenty elite pilots, it's uncertain if he would jump up and curse again in anger.

"General, we are currently searching for the target," Kawamoto Himeko reported, enduring Shentian Jiuzi's yelling while maintaining her composure to report her tasks.

...

Ye Hao rested in Submarine No.2 for more than ten minutes before he had enough strength to stand up. During these ten minutes, He Hua and others had already placed system explosive boxes on the small warships to the south. They came out of Submarine No.2 to install the explosive boxes because Submarine No.2 wasn't designed for combat; it's meant for transporting supplies.

So it wasn't equipped to launch system boxes directly from the cabin.

"Boss! We are done with the south side, now heading north to blow up their large warships too," Li Yi said.

"Hmm! You decide, I'll rest for a while," Ye Hao, although able to barely stand, still felt exhausted.

After all, lifting more than ten people thirty meters into the air took its toll, and he had consumed stimulating drugs, causing the aftereffects to hit him quickly, making him feel increasingly tired.

"Alright, boss, get some rest! I won't let you down," Li Yi assured.

Then Li Yi instructed Ding Haoyun to take Submarine No.2 north, where they installed system explosive boxes on six small warships.

Finally, looping around to the west, the ten-plus people simultaneously swam towards the large warship, each carrying two system explosive boxes. Attaching more than twenty system explosive boxes under the large warship would cause even the toughest ship to become as fragile as tofu.

On the warship, the captain shouted in fury, "Baka! Have they been found yet? Useless bunch."

"Sir, we still haven't detected any sign of the Huaxia pigs," the captain's subordinate reported nervously.

"Baka! Are they going to fly into the sky? Keep searching," the captain commanded loudly.

Then he noticed some bubbles surfacing in the water, his eyes narrowing...

But He Hua and the others moved too swiftly, in just seconds after reaching under the large warship, they had installed the system explosive boxes.

The captain's sense of unease grew stronger...(to be continued. If you like this work, you are welcome to vote for recommendations and monthly votes at Qidian (qidian.com). Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please read at m.qidian.com.)
