Supreme Man

Chapter 459: Escape Journey (Part 2)

"Surround them immediately for me."

Jin San, upon hearing the location had been found, ordered everyone to surround the area.

He then picked up the communication device for the airborne combat team and said, "Attention all aerial units, attention all units, the target has appeared at Jinghai Mansion. Coordinate with the ground forces to surround it. If he attempts to escape, shoot to kill immediately."

"Received." Fifteen helicopters simultaneously flew toward Jinghai Mansion.

Ye Hao saw the helicopters approaching and understood that his location might have been exposed. Without hesitation, he agilely leapt from the rooftop of Jinghai Mansion to another building.

One of the helicopters in the air observed this and shouted into the communication device, "Target sighted, target sighted. Requesting permission to engage, requesting permission to engage from Aircraft One."

Jin San also saw Ye Hao bouncing across the rooftops from Aircraft One. He frowned slightly; weren't there supposed to be four people? Why was there only one person running? Where were the other three?

"Attention all ground units, secure the surrounding area tightly and remain vigilant. Three of the targets have not yet been located. Additionally, Self-defense team members, quickly surround Jinghai Mansion and head southwest. Do not let the suspect escape." Jin San quickly issued the order.

He then picked up the airborne communication device again and said, "Attention all aerial units, attention all units, if the target is spotted on the rooftop, shoot immediately without waiting for further instructions."

"Understood!" The combat team members in the fifteen helicopters shouted loudly.

The combat team member in the first helicopter coldly watched the direction in which Ye Hao was escaping. His helicopter swiftly veered towards Ye Hao's running path.

He suddenly turned around and then aimed the helicopter's machine gun at Ye Hao's approximate position. Once the precision was set, he pressed the firing button.

"Die, you Chinaman pig," the member of the first combat unit coldly said.

"Rat-a-tat-tat!" The machine gun on the combat aircraft emitted the sound of gunfire, firing over a dozen large-caliber bullets within just three seconds.

If a human were hit by such bullets, their body would undoubtedly explode.

Ye Hao began zig-zagging left and right as the machine gun fired, leaving a trail of shadows in his wake as he rapidly changed direction.

"Thud-thud-thud-thud!"

Bullets struck the building surfaces with a thud, but not a single bullet hit Ye Hao.

"Baka! Let's see how many more times you can dodge, you Chinaman pig," said the combat unit member on Aircraft One as he turned the helicopter in another direction, planning to shoot at Ye Hao from the left.

Seeing this, Ye Hao changed direction again, no longer running in a zig-zag pattern but instead running straight. This forced the attackers to adjust their aim, allowing Ye Hao to quickly make it to another building.

At this moment, Ye Hao resembled a parkour expert, skillfully leaping over rooftops to evade the airborne threats.

Meanwhile, a member of Aircraft Two also aimed at Ye Hao's direction, intending to coordinate with Aircraft One to eliminate him.

"Aircraft Two, target acquired. Fire."

The combat team member of Aircraft Two fired in a straight line along Ye Hao's path.

Out of sheer necessity, Ye Hao temporarily took cover inside a rooftop building.

"Whew, whew!"

In a short span of time, Ye Hao had already leapt over seven buildings, and was now panting heavily, holding his knees.

"Ni Ma! Fifteen helicopters against just me. This is really blowing things out of proportion," Ye Hao panted and said.

Then, Ye Hao suddenly felt a sense of impending danger and quickly relocated himself ten meters away.

The next second, the rooftop he had been taking cover on was completely obliterated by a grenade fired from above.

Even though Ye Hao managed to dodge, he still got hit by debris which pierced his body, causing him to scream in pain.

With another combat aircraft approaching from behind, he had no choice but to push through the pain and continue running across the rooftops.

Fortunately, many of Tokyo's buildings were uniform in height, allowing Ye Hao to run across them.

"Thump-thump-thump!"

The sound of Ye Hao's running echoed on the rooftops. As he reached the thirteenth building, another sense of danger washed over him.

Ye Hao came to an abrupt halt, his shoes skidding over three meters before stopping.

The next moment, a massive explosion erupted just over ten meters in front of him.

Ni Ma! Luckily, he hadn't charged ahead, or he would have been blown to pieces, Ye Hao thought to himself.

"Baka! He's evaded again; is this guy even human?" the crew aboard Fighter Jets One through Five growled from above.

"Aircraft Five, circle around from the front. Aircraft Four, come from the left. Aircraft Three, close in from the right. Aircraft Two, you and I will press from behind," shouted the member of the first combat aircraft.

"Understood!" nodded the members of Aircrafts Two through Four.

Five helicopters had boxed Ye Hao in between the fourteenth and sixteenth floors, which meant that apart from jumping to the fifteenth floor, there was nowhere else he could go. Unless he could climb walls, he would have to head to the fifteenth floor where they would circle him.

"Chinaman pig, prepare to die!" the confident first aircraft crew member exclaimed, certain this time that they could kill Ye Hao.

Meanwhile, the courageous reporter at the bottom of the building, none other than the well-focused Xie Haimin, was holding a microphone as her photography partner filmed her. She anxiously reported, "I've roughly understood the situation, which is that from today to the day after tomorrow, it's the birthday of Emperor Miyazaki of Tokyo. Originally a joyful day, Tokyo was infiltrated by four unexpected visitors today.

They are extraordinarily brave, immensely powerful, but why did they bomb Tokyo Mansion and then Jingguo Shrine? Coming up next, here are the images of Jingguo Shrine being bombed. Although taken from afar and not very clear, you can clearly see Jingguo Shrine reduced to ruins." The footage then switched to show Jingguo Shrine after the explosion.

Images of devastation graced the screens of Huaxia television sets.

Some clapped and cheered, while others worried about whether the four daredevils who bombed the shrine would be killed by the Jiepeng people.

Most were gloating, relishing the idea of Jiepeng being bullied, their excitement growing the more it was oppressed. Many in Huaxia hoped Jiepeng would soon be bombed to oblivion.

"Did you see that footage earlier? Ah! Look over there, film in that direction, there's someone scaling down the building!" shouted Xie Haimin excitedly, spotting someone climbing down rapidly from the eighteenth floor, astonishingly fast.

The camera operator quickly turned the camera to capture the person on the eighteenth floor.

It was naturally Ye Hao, driven to a corner by them, forced to climb down the wall. Otherwise, staying on top risked being shot dead.

"Wow! Scaling walls? This isn't fiction or Iron Man, and we're not shooting a movie; this is real life, this is..."

Suddenly, Ye Hao vanished on the building wall... (to be continued. If you like this work, please visit Qidian (qidian.com) to vote for recommendations and monthly votes. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please read at m.qidian.com.)
