"Bruscheffas… I've heard of them." Amon muttered as he thought about the family.
They were one of the few families that experienced the apocalypse first hand and survived it before they took the opportunity to set up businesses in various green zones.
Of course, some were legal and the others illegal.
"Yes, they're one of the weaker families so they did not dare go into the heaven's gate. This information has been omitted from most books but there were groups that were far stronger than the Bruscheffas. There was one that was filled with S rankers and they were tyrants." Mona said as she looked at the four of them.
Amon nodded before turning off his stream, "Alright, I'll keep that in mind. There's something else I wanna tell you guys. I got invited to be a staff at the academy."
He then explained about all the perks he would be getting and how he decided to cause havoc for the Red Baron gang.
"So you did it because you were worried about mom." Mikayla said as she glanced at her mother, "Well… she might be well known for being in the gang but most people do not think bad of her."
Amon raised his eyebrow at this and shifted his attention to Mona, who merely shrugged.
"I've been alive for more than a century. I've made a lot of friends but none of them could really help me or interfere in the gang's matters. But now that the whole thing is destroyed, I'm sure that kid wouldn't mind having me work for him."
Amon let out a soft sigh of relief before nodding, "That's… good news. I was thinking of going on the run since I kinda feel like I've provoked that family. I don't wanna leave you out here and just save my own ass. After all, you're family and even though you fked up in the past, everyone needs a second chance to make up for their mistakes."
"Yeah you don't have to rub it in, Amon." Mona scowled before looking at Mikayla awkwardly, "I will support my daughter in any way possible."
"Alright. Now that we've talked about the important stuff… there's something I wish to show all of you." Amon said before giving them access to take a look at his status screen.

'Oh right, I still have aura active.' Amon realised when he saw his stats and immediately turned it off.
"This…. what's with these mind boggling stats?" Mona muttered as he looked up at Amon while he happily watched the mind points come in.
"And the money… so many coins…" Mikayla muttered as she stared at her screen in utter shock.
Elena recalled the words she had said previously about not wanting him to spend all his money on her but now, she really did not know what to say.
The fifty thousand he had given her previously paled in comparison to what he had right now.
The only one who was the least surprised, was Nyx.
She had seen him mow through the Red Baron stash houses like they were nothing and she had also seen him loot all their potion vials so she had her guesses on how he could have made so much money.
"How…" Mona frowned before opening her eyes wide, "Wait! The looting of stash houses! Was that you?"
Amon nodded and chuckled, "Yes, it was me. I could have sold them at a higher price but my goal was to cause a loss for Raul so I sold them at a price that one would only consider crazy. Though, I didn't expect people to buy everything so fast." he said as he looked at the inventory in his market menu.
Everything except his vitality pills had been completely empties but then, right in front of his eyes, even the vitality pills disappeared.
All in an instant.
The girls saw the change too but what they did not see, was how many pills had been sold.
Amon stared at the number 0 that was under the word "Stock" and recalled the number that was in it's place a moment ago.
24,000.
That was how many pills Elena had made in just a few hours but now, every single one of them were gone.
Amon navigated to the sale history and looked at the buyer's name.
Zhou Qingyan.
It was someone Amon already knew.
"The principal of the academy in our zone…" he muttered as he moved his gaze to the transaction amount.
1,200,000.
A single person had just splurged more than a million just to buy pills.
'Looks like Alicia managed to convince him… or maybe she gave him the pill she had. That would surely interest him.' Amon thought as he looked up at his girls, all of whom looked absolutely lost.
"The academy's principal bought all the pills Elena made. I listed them up at 50 coins each. They were cheap but I wanted people to try them out instead of potions but… no one really paid any attention to them. And now… this guy just bought every single one of them." Amon complained as a frown formed on his face.
His goal was to spread awareness about the existence of the pills, not making money. If not, he would have listed the pills for 100 coins each or even more.
With a sigh, he shook his head, "Well… atleast we have money. That aside, do you girls wish to join the academy with me or do you have other ideas? It's a safe place to grow stronger and we'll have a much better form of protection compared to staying here with the Gaboras."
Mona nodded, "It is much safer to move to the academy. There are stronger and more ruthless gangs in other zones. I'm pretty sure that after hearing the news about Raul's failure, they'll swarm in."
