After going through the first few, Amon chose the E+ rank Thorn Gauntlets.

It had great durability, a decent amount of damage and lastly, a recovery skill built into it.

[Thorn Gauntlets (E+)]

Durability: 1400

Damage: 1.2xDefence + 1.5xStrength

Skill: Blood Sucker

[Blood Sucker: Consume the health of user to recover durability. Ratio: 1:1]

'Alright… let's take this sucker for a spin.' he thought as he bought a random monkey mask from the market and put it on before leaving the hotel.

On his way, he took out the map and looked at it before nodding to himself.

'Hmm… I guess it's better to hit the D rank dungeons. Only the academy's top students will be going there so it's a great opportunity to make connections.'

With that thought in mind, he began running in a particular direction and after a few minutes, he stopped in front of a building that was familiar to him.

"Dungeon Management Association…" he muttered and chuckled before walking in.

He headed straight to the receptionist and saw a familiar face there.

The receptionist was a good looking dark skinned man. He wore glasses and looked extremely professional.

"Hello, I'm looking for a team to challenge a D rank dungeon with. It would be nice if I can join a team that has a good reputation." he said as he glanced at the receptionist's name tag.

Joseph.

Joseph looked up at Amon and pushed his glasses upwards before nodding.

"There are six D rank dungeons in our green zone. Are you fine with any of them?"

"Yes."

"Alright, there is a team with perfect reputation so you will not have much trouble if you join them." Joseph said as he clicked a few buttons on his computer, "They're from the Academy and they'll have a professor joining them. Usually, they're a B rank awakened and in rare occasions, a B plus or even an A rank."

Amon nodded without any hesitation. It was a veiled threat.

'They won't cause trouble but I hope you don't cause trouble either huh? Well, I'm here to sell my stuff so…' Amon mused before smiling slightly.

"Academy… brings back memories." he said as he rapped on the desk gently, making Joseph raise his eyebrows a little.

'So he's someone who used to study at the academy. I guess I don't have to worry too much.' he thought as he looked at Amon and picked up the paper that had just finished printing.

"Here's the basic information about the team you'll be joining. Feel free to go through it and tell me if you wish to go with a different team."

With a nod, Amon picked up the paper and walked over to one of the couches nearby before he began reading.

Academy's Awakened Team One

Members: Patrick, Patricia, Jordan, Kenji

Temporary Guardian: Miss Alicia

Patrick: Known as one of the best tanks in the history of Academy's toppers. His synergy with his twin sister is near perfect and he is also a great leader. You can trust his judgement.

Patricia: A soft spoken yet hyperactive girl. She is an extremely capable mage known for her frost spells and debuffs, bringing a well needed utility to the team. Without her, the team would not be able to beat the dungeons with just four members.

'Yeah I guess that makes sense.' Amon thought as he nodded, 'F and E rank dungeons can be beaten with small teams but it gets increasingly harder as the dungeon ranks increase. It really is sort of a great feat for them to be able to deal with D rank dungeons with just four.'

'Well… technically five since they have Professor Alicia with them. To think that I'd meet her again after all the dumb shit I did at the academy…' he thought as he moved on to the others.

Jordan: He is one of the few who awakened with a rare dual swordmaster class. He is the team's core damage dealer and his damage ramps up when the monsters are restrained.

Kenji: Kenji is the team's priest, giving out strong buffs to keep the team going. Without him, their team would take a lot more time clearing the dungeons.

Alicia: The team's supervisor and adviser. She's a well known tank who has been active in wars against monsters since the past 15.

'Alright… I guess I'll only be getting surface level information like this. If I need more, I'll have to see them in action.' he thought as he headed back to the receptionist.

"How long would I have to wait, Mister Joseph?"

"You're actually at the right time. They should be finishing their dungeon run soon and they'll move to a different D rank dungeon. If you wish to join them, I can relay the message for you and set everything up."

"That'll be great." Amon said and waited while Joseph got to work.

A minute or so later, Joseph looked up from his monitor, "Please head to the D rank Dungeon of the Undead."

Amon left immediately and rushed towards the location of the dungeon. It wasn't too far so he reached pretty quickly.

Almost an hour later, he saw a familiar face; Alicia.

She used to be his homeroom teacher for two years and one of Amon's biggest crushes.

'Well… his tastes are good.' he thought as he gave her a quick glance and looked at the others.

It wasn't just the students of the academy but other awakened such as him.

Two in total.

"Hello, you can just call me Monkey for now." Amon said as he walked towards them and stood in front of Alicia, "It's nice to see you after so many years, professor."

Everyone looked pretty surprised when they heard his words but the first to react was Alicia herself.

"So you used to study at the academy before."
