Death System: I awakened SSS rank System

Chapter 60: Battle Break

Zakar stood up and walked slowly towards the Justin. He could not place his mind straight as to what had happened. He wondered if Nero would show up again. If he did, that would be disastrous.

"Come on Justin. Wake up! You can't die after having someone nearly kill me. Wake up!!" Zakar thundered as he got towards him.

He laced his hands around Justin's wrist to check his heartbeat. Yes. He was still breathing and alive.

Zakar smirked and looked at him studying his face. He could see the face of a person struggling to live to an expectation set uneven.

"I guess we would need Myia now. Speaking which. I have to get her. I can't let her stay there alone. I can go find traces in the refectory."

Zakar turned and began to move towards the refectory. He could not stop thinking about Nero.

"He beat me up without even fighting me. Only his peasant serpents were enough to out beat me. Damn. He is damn strong." Zakar muttered. If Nero had wanted him dead, he could have killed him but instead, his life was spared.

He clenched his fists at the thought of being under the mercy of someone. He had already blown his cover of trying to act weak. With his battle with Carlurk, he was exposed to the players.

He still wondered why he was able to beat Caslurk even though he was an S rank and he was still a B rank. What intrigued him more was he combat difference in the three S ranks he had fought.

Caslurk was the least S rank and was a Flame Player just like Justin. He seemed powerful but Zakar defeated him with somewhat ease.

Next was General Lemon. His aura was commanding and he couldn't escape from his attacks even though he was extremely faster now. Not to mention that he was able to dodge Caslurk's strikes with ease.

Finally was Nero Void. This man seemed to be on a totally new level. He fought against him with no concentration and yet he nearly killed him in an instant.

There had to be some explanation for this. Probably the kind of magic one used boosted their rank even though they were the same.

But that was a sleazy thought. If that was the case, a kind like Carene was not supposed to be that strong. Not to speak of her being a Tailor.

Then it struck him. Who were the Tailors? For one all he knew, Kyara only introduced themselves as people that wanted to stop the Negative Entity, but was that what the Tailors were?

His system had recognised them as Tailors as if it was title earned or marked. When he saw the stats of all of them, they were registered in his system as Tailors.

This case was also similar when he checked General Shalen and Atelon. They were registered as Generals too. And then every other Player he had come across was registered as a Player.

This was all linked to one thing; these were mere titles. And Caslurk was a Player and his S rank status was inferior to the Generals and in turn the General's S rank status was inferior to the Tailors.

"Then what the fuck am I? If the Player's ranks are inferior to the Generals and Tailors, why was I able to defeat the assassin, defend myself against General Lemon and try to fight against Nero Void. I was just a B rank? Damn . System any suggestions?

[Well like I told you earlier, you are different from others. Your stats are extremely high and which is why you gave been restricted to the full potential of the system. For now you can only gain access to S rank and until you build your body and mind properly to be a god, then you will be able to harness the power of the god of Destruction.]

"Wait what..." he wanted to may an argument but he walked into the refectory to see Sera and Myia laying unconscious on the ground.

"Got to be kidding." He muttered as his foot steps brushed against the ground.

He squatted lowly before them and analysed their faces. They seemed weak and tired. Sera's tough face was replaced with the stressed face of a married woman controlling three stubborn kids.

Zakar could not help but chuckle. He looked at Myia and noticed that she had not scratch on her but she seemed to be completely drained out.

"Sigh..." he sighed loudly. He was happy they were both save. And he didn't have to kill Justin to make that happen. He carried both women on his shoulders and walked out of the refectory.

--------

Somewhere behind the walls of the refectory, Melissa, Horis and a pale looking man stood astonished.

"Damn. I can't believe they pulled through." The pale man muttered under his breath.

"You shut up. You will be dead by the time we get to master." Horis muttered lightly. The pale froze in fear. Tears could visibly roll down his eyes.

"Please anything not to let master hear of this." He pleaded in fear.

"Are you crazy?!" Horis thundered at him." Master will always know. Right Melissa?"

He waited for a response but none came. He tilted his head to notice that swe was no longer with them. The pale looking man turned and also noticed the same plight.

"What? Melissa left to tell Master?! Why? How cruel of her." He rumbled in anger and fear. Horis shot him a dark glance.

"Melissa can't leave is here except—" he swallowed his words as he felt a hand on his shoulder.

He turned to see who it was but the pull sent him skidding across the ground. Horis quickly got to his feet but he got punched by the attacker.

"Maybe if I save him, he will shit his damn mouth up." The pale looking man said and created a stone cold rift.

But in a split second, the attacker kicked him on the head and the sheer force sebt his head off his neck. Blood pumped out of the neck and the man fell to the ground dead.

Horis tried to move but the attacker came back to him with such a great speed that he thought he saw nothing. Then he got another severing punch.

Horis was sent skidding again and he coughed out hot blood. He wanted to stop himself but he saw the attacker appear from nowhere.

"Please wait... Who are you?" Horis pleaded.

The attacker paused and everything within paused at the same time.

"I an Kenry Wester." He muttered before slamming his knuckles hard against his head. The body split open and his blood splattered across the vicinity.

Kenry landed on the ground and smirked lightly. Then he walked into nothingness and disappeared entirely.
