Because he endured countless ants crawling on his body, eating his flesh, without harboring anger or hatred, he thus achieved the First Fruit Sotapanna. After seven lifetimes, this is his sixth existence, already having cultivated to the level of Bodhisattva ready for enlightenment. After one more life, he will attain Buddhahood."

"And what about your god? Where does he appear?"

"Our True God is called the Creator Tathagata King Buddha, the king of all Buddhas, the ancestor of ten thousand Buddhas. The Three Realms and all heavenly beings were created by him; Xie Shan too was created by the Buddha King. In the first life, he was a Great Poison Dragon that tempted the ancient human ancestor woman Xia Yi to steal the Immortal Pill crafted by the Buddha King, and as punishment, he was driven from paradise, thrust into the vast ocean, cursed to crawl on his belly on earth, consuming soil for all of his days..."
