The Ancestor of All Demons

Chapter 322: 300 Shi Longgu and Sun Lingbo

Shi Feiyang had sent the Nine Child Mother Sky Demon to deliver a crystal bottle containing the Mysterious Lady Needle to Shi Longgu, along with a message.

Shi Longgu was practicing her cultivation inside a cave when, all of a sudden, she had a premonition that something was amiss. She sensed a spiritual body rapidly approaching and hurriedly opened her eyes. By then, several demon shadows had already passed through the cave entrance and entered.

She was shocked. The cave dwelling originally had a threefold defensive array in place, yet to the intruder, it seemed to be nothing more than decoration!

She was about to unleash her magical treasure to defend herself when the demon shadows revealed their forms. They were the very demon infants that had been born from her womb, and knowing that they were under Shi Feiyang's command, she breathed a sigh of relief.

However, she knew demons were inherently cruel and vicious, so she didn't dare to let her guard down and tightly gripped her magical treasure on alert.

The leading demon infant floated a crystal bottle towards her.

She didn't dare to catch it with her hands. Instead, she used a spell to levitate it closer for inspection and couldn't contain her ecstasy. It was her mother's Mysterious Lady Needle!

She vividly remembered the day her mother faced the Demon Tribulation and was played into a humiliating state by that wretched old nun. During their duel, her mother used the Mysterious Lady Needle against the old nun, who captured it with a crystal bottle filled with five-colored smoke.

Her mother's Mysterious Lady Needle was famous throughout the land. There were nine sets, each with nine needles. That day, her mother had used one set, which was confiscated by the old nun.

She had watched helplessly as her mother fell into disadvantage, with the clouds of tribulation looming, about to be destroyed, when she rushed over and inexplicably fainted.

When she woke up, the old nun's senior disciple handed over her mother's belongings. All her magical treasures were there, except for the mountain's treasure, the Nine Revolutions Wheel, and the nine Mysterious Lady Needles.

She knew the old evil nun had pocketed them, but she was helpless to do anything about it. She never expected Master Shi would help retrieve them today and even have them delivered by a Divine Demon.

This was beyond her wildest dreams!

Then, the demon spoke, and it was Shi Feiyang's voice.

Shi Feiyang told her he had set up an Immortal Market, a place where the Sword Immortals of the world could trade. The Golden Needle Saint Mother's Flying Needles were unparalleled, well-known to everyone; hence her nickname. Owning a set of Mysterious Lady Needles was unrivaled.

Shi Feiyang said, "If you wish, you can come here. I'll provide you with a courtyard where you can live in seclusion, practice your cultivation, and refine your flying needles. If you can save up some resources, you'll also be able to refine a few more powerful magical treasures for self-protection during tribulation."

Without a second thought, Shi Longgu decided to head to Tianjin to meet Shi Feiyang!

Ever since Shi Feiyang's departure, Shi Longgu often found herself missing him.

Shi Feiyang was handsome, with high mana. Although he had put her through hell, her cultivation progress had been phenomenal since then. Not only had her mind ceased to wander, it was now as unwavering as a boulder, and her mana continued to grow, breaking through one bottleneck after another.

She had accumulated more mana in this period than she had under her mother's protection over a span of more than ten years.

Firstly, it was the tempering of her resolve by the Demon Tribulation, and secondly, it was because Shi Feiyang had given her some of the celestial spiritual medicines rarely seen even by Immortals every few centuries, inadvertently fulfilling the essential principle of Dual Cultivation of Life and Nature.

Shi Longgu not only wanted to see Shi Feiyang once more, but even if they met, she didn't know what she would say. Now with this opportunity, she was even more elated.

She quickly gathered her things, sealed the cave entrance, and joyfully followed the Nine Demons, flying towards Tianjin.

Little did she know, she had barely flown far and had not yet left the bounds of Gupo Ridge when she suddenly heard someone shouting for help from the forest below.

It was a man's voice, particularly pleasant-sounding. Shi Longgu lowered her sword light and descended into the woods.

The forest was dense with foliage, with sunlight casting a patchy shade.

A young man, around eighteen or nineteen years old, was running down the hillside. His clothes were disheveled, his hair was in disarray, he was clad only in a loose outer robe over his bare feet, his expression was panicked, and as he ran, he called for help.

Shi Longgu noted that he was rather handsome, seemingly terrified by something, looking quite distressed, so she took the initiative to approach him. "Why are you running? What's chasing you?"

The young man, upon seeing a young girl alone in the forest, didn't think she stood a chance, and urged, "Miss, run quickly, there's a lecherous demoness on the mountain, shamelessly wanting to—"

He was too embarrassed to finish his sentence, instead urging Shi Longgu to flee quickly.

Shi Longgu laughed, "What lecherous demoness dares to cause trouble on Gupo Ridge? I want to meet her!"

As soon as she finished speaking, a sword light flew down from the ridge and landed, revealing a woman in pink.

Seeing Shi Longgu, the woman was mildly surprised and casually exhaled a puff of pink smoke towards the young man, who, panicking, began to run even faster, unable to outrun the evil smoke.

"Brazen!" Shi Longgu shouted indignantly, "With me here, you cannot run amok on Gupo Ridge!"

She flicked her wrist and released her flying sword to disperse the pink smoke.

The woman was well-shaped with snow-white skin, dressed in very simple clothes. Surprised that her spell had been broken, she frowned and retorted, "What of Gupo Ridge? Whether it's tolerated or not, I've been reckless here many times. And who are you, wench, to dare interfere with me?" She also released her flying sword to engage Shi Longgu in battle.

The woman's swordsmanship hailed from the Huashan Sect and was quite extraordinary. Shi Longgu struggled with just one flying sword and soon found herself at a disadvantage.

The woman continued to press her attack with sword light and taunted Shi Longgu relentlessly.

Annoyed, Shi Longgu watched as the young man, seeing her sword light suppressed to within a few feet of her, became scared and took off running by himself, at least with some conscience, calling back, "Miss, you can't beat her, you better run too. She has accomplices."
