Ordus had somehow gotten a list of gifts from somewhere. Julia looked contemplative, "I think we should send thank you cards to people."

Theo nodded, "Alright, so let's open it all up, and then we can figure out how to get notes to them."

Julia reached into the cold edge of the fire pit and grabbed a small piece of charcoal to use as a writing implement. "Before we start, I want to make a request that we figure out a supply of paper and writing utensils."

"Seconded!" Theo said, "Now then, I will open them, and you write everything down. Deal?"

Julia nodded, and they got to work; twenty or so minutes later, they had a neat list.

Thrumli Stonewrend, level eight - A metal box containing what appears to be a model of a forge. Bordak Ironhaft, level fifteen - A large keg containing alcohol of some kind. Dagna Runemeld, level fifteen - A small box containing a handful of small metal dishes etched with runes. Krunnok Orevein, level five - A handmade bracelet with a shimmering golden crystal woven into it. Velra Magmaroot, level twelve - A box that seems to contain roughly a kilogram of some kind of seed. Dwarf Grimshard, level fifteen - A black envelope of metal that has a sheet of black metal with Dwarvish runes on it. Grendel Rockbind, level fifteen - No gift was provided.

The Joolnar Daughters Saphira, Azeema, Nayari, Jalily, Thalessa, Kareema, Zelaya, Rashena, Mahtiya, and Sulien Joolnar, all level fifteen - A fishbowl with small crystals in it. Each crystal seemed to have an image in it.

Sszek'Thal, level fifteen - A pouch containing ten black beads that have a tiny rune carved into them. Krrikcha, level fifteen - A pouch containing two spools of incredibly fine thread.

Elaren Vance, level fifteen - A pair of excellent gloves that shimmer in the light. Myra Vellin, level fifteen - A box of three items. One book, one stick, and a letter that Theo was unable to open.

After Theo gave up on trying to open the letter, he looked at Julia, "Well, we have a list. Is there anything that you want to identify right now?"

"I mean, I think that we should identify whatever is in the cage and a couple of other things." Julia said, "Let's do the pets. Then, each of us can pick an item, and we will identify them. The rest we can do later."

Theo nodded and reached out, sticking a finger in the cage and touching the strange metallic fur that was visible before using Identify.

"Interesting," Theo said, looking at the strange creature. It looked like a slug, a rabbit, and some kind of Furby had created a child together. "These will probably be useful."

Julia stuck her finger in and Identified it as well. "It's kind of weird looking, but if it will help us deal with pests, that is a good thing."

"Now then, we can figure out the Grublix later. You pick your thing, and I will pick mine." Theo said, picking up the model of a forge. Julia picked up the tube of strange metal.

Theo Identified his first.

"We might also consider using this to trade with the Dwarves," Julia said.

"True, while it would be nice to be able to produce everything ourselves, we don't need to. We do have some distant neighbors." Theo said, then shook his head, "Alright, now, what did you pick?"

Julia identified the tube.

"That could be very important," Theo said after hearing what she had picked.

"I wonder if it will tell us if something is poisonous or not?" Julia wondered.

"That is a good question," Theo said, looking around, trying to see if there was something that they could test it on.

"Oh well, we can look at it later," Julia said, standing up and placing the tube back into the box it had come in. "I want a bath."

"Alright," Theo said, setting the portable forge down. "Let's clean up and then go clean ourselves. You should also send a message to Lamalla letting her know we will be in the Deep Mirror Retreat soon."

Theo opened his Dimensional storage and quickly shuffled the gifts into it. Leaving the cage outside, he finished, and the Dimensional Storage closed. They walked to the core and placed their hands on it.

"Take us to the Deep Mirror Retreat if you would, Hestia." Julia said, and without a response, power surged.
