The plot collapses: All the heroines are broken!

Chapter 146: Protagonist’s Last-Inner Monologue.

Hello, I don't know if anyone can hear me...

But I still want to talk about my life's trajectory before I die,

It doesn't matter if no one hears me, at least this empty air around me can be my first and last witness.

This world was going fine until one day I noticed the same events happening again and again like a disgusting broken record repeating itself.

Soon with my newfound awareness, I realised all of this was just like a pre-established story, and I seemed to be playing the role of the protagonist named Chu Fang.

My story was disgusting and full of shit!

I seemed to be some big foreign mercenary returning home full of glamour.

Teaching rich second generations a lesson and claiming & conquering beauties along the way- A sweet childhood sweetheart, a Cold Iceberg President, a fierce police woman, a domineering martial art heroine, a crazy hacker heroine, the villain's sister and not to forget the side heroine, the absurd setting involved forcing all such strong women into a fantasy urban harem.

I hated the manipulation and shameless tactics used by my identity to coerce all those female leads, but I was helpless...

All my vile actions, my sarcastic voice, my cheap conversations, nothing was under my control, it was like my body was following a set of pre-defined instructions.

My consciousness could only helplessly watch me perform this circus.

Su Chen was not the first villain, before him many people came, some of them even openly called themselves the legendary transmigrators.

The only thing that all the villains shared was their powerful identity, the sole heir to the mighty Su Family.

But all of them failed and died miserably under my character settings.

Hehe, that's why you don't underestimate the protagonist and plot armour!

Many times I wanted to warn them to do things properly, plan more carefully, and not underestimate the protagonist's setting- he actually has many trump cards, but every time I wanted to tell or interact with those transmigrators, I could only realise this body is not under my control, I am like a spectator watching all this farce.

Because of their overconfidence, all of those haughty guys met a tragic end.

I think it was the villain who came before Su Chen…..yes that's right! He was a very strong guy! Someone with a clear goal from the start.

He almost completed this villain job.

It was he who told me that only by breaking the plot repeatedly can we really become free from this novel world's loathful imaginary rules.

Becoming free? Becoming independent? That was a new concept to me.....something I started looking forward to.

I was also getting tired of playing this shameful protagonist repeatedly, and I realised I couldn't go on any longer.

If death was something that could liberate me, I was willing to accept it if anyone could offer it.

Sadly, for some reason, the system, his so-called helper, betrayed him during his third plot repetition.

In the end because of that guy's sheer strength, even if he died he killed his system in his dying breaths.

After that- It was complete silence, the world along with all of its characters was frozen for a long time.

Many years passed, and I almost thought I had gone into hibernation, but then the word finally moved again.

I knew a new villain had come.

He called himself Su Chen.

He was different, I could tell it at a glance....like someone destined for this role.

Su Chen successfully made the plot collapse four times, a feat I had never seen before, further arousing my inner excitement.

In the process, I was always worried that like his predecessors, he too, might give up halfway…..but he persisted!

Someone like him must have a strong will and a life goal to look to, otherwise, How can he bear so much shame and trauma over and over again?

It was at his final fifth plot repetition that I started realising how amazing of a person he was.

His genuine care for the female leads, his outlook on life, the way he made Mei Qing regret, his taming of the ambitious martial arts heroine Zhu Qing or heck, even correcting the sick police woman Lou Rouer's righteousness, all of his tactics were unique yet properly thought of.

Seeing him perform like this, I was too fully immersed in my protagonist's character to deliver a spectacular performance.

Since all of us are performing a play, there must be an audience watching us, right?

I want to arouse their emotions like never before.

So many times when the plot was about to fail, Su Chen somehow turned the situation. Even in the final duel, I was worried he wouldn't be able to cope with my hole cards….…but he managed to match and overpower me thoroughly.

I was always a hater of an urban harem, thinking a man should marry only one woman as his heart can't equally treat others if he has more until I met Su Chen.

Looking at Su Chen, he made me understand that as long as you are hard-working and respectful in your conduct, you can do and get what you want!

It's not a man who takes the initiative to make a harem, instead, it's all those arrogant female leads who acknowledge you and start believing in you. Only then, can those proud women be willing to share one man.

Still, I have to thank Su Chen, his final sword attack was fabulous, and at last...….my role is finally ending!

I can finally be free from this never-ending-always-repeating damn plot!

The only thing I don't understand is why this Ji Runi accompanied me to my death.

I had never interacted with her before, so I never understood her character, nevertheless…..my heart which had always been cold and indifferent felt so warm when someone stood alongside me in my dying moments.

It's a pity I can't give her a happy life.

I wonder, How will the world be after I am gone?

If you ask if I have any regrets.....

Then yes there is one!

Before dying, I wanted to ask Su Chen what his motivation was.

What was his belief that kept pushing him forward this entire time?

Who knows? Maybe in my next life, I can meet Su Chen again and become his friend.

Though I doubt, will he accept a male friend? Haha!

Still, this protagonist role was undoubtedly crazy, I wish, in the future, no one is forced to play such a role where he has no control over his actions.
