As Sam perused his sheet, he realized that he had enough points to cross another threshold. Judging by the power of the Shadow Raven, he would need it. Currently, Strength was the closest, and one of Sam's favorite stats. While his highest destructive potential came from his Dao, that didn't scale with any of his stats. In battle, the most useful stats were Resilience, Dexterity and Strength.
"I have something to attend to," Sam said, rising from his cross-legged position. So attentive to their own cultivation were the Gemstone Spirits that they continued on without him.
Sam teleported to an isolated part of the village, and settled down between two boulders, bracing himself for the pain to come.
With his immense title bonuses, Sam only needed to use thirty-nine points to level his strength to 5000, which he quickly slotted in. A burning sensation, quite familiar by now, built within his body, the heat increasing until it felt as if a star had been born somewhere around his core. Pain radiated outwards, pain that seared at the very marrow of his being. Gritting his teeth, Sam closed his eyes, and focused on the power to come, rather than the pain of the moment.
His body reforged itself, E Rank flesh condensing in on itself within a crucible of raw power, the brute strength of his form skyrocketing to obscene proportions. As the pain faded, a faint euphoria settled in, pride at having overcome one of the System's many challenges. Sam got to his feet, body burning with potency. He was itching to test out his new strength.
You have passed the Third Threshold of Strength.
In the legends of your world, heroes and gods possessed strength far beyond mortal limits. Now you possess that same power, capable of blasting mountains apart and causing natural disasters. Do not let such godhood go to your head, though, as real gods exist, and they are far beyond you.
Clenching his fist created a localized sonic boom, and with a single teleport, Sam headed to the surface. He felt like he could have punched out one of the Titans that had posed so much of a challenge a few months before.

It was a terrifying thought, a testament to how far he had come since his time on Earth.
A few moments later, Sam was sprinting across the stony plains, his fists clenched in preparation. Seeing a large hillock of stone and amethyst jutting out of the land, Sam leaped towards it, almost overshooting his destination with the unexpected force of his legs. With his Perfect Ascension taken into account, he was closing in on almost ten thousand times the strength of an average human.
Sam streaked through the air, propelled by his physical might alone. Like a bullet, he shattered through the sound barrier, his fist cocked back, Terra's Will held loosely in his other hand. A wild grin on his face, Sam slammed his clenched fist down upon the hill. The stone beneath his fist was turned to dust, waves of destruction grinding the rest to rubble. A small earthquake shook the ground for half a mile in every direction, sending clouds of dust rising up into the sky. A large crater scarred the ground, tiny in comparison to those left by Sam's Dao enhanced attacks, but incredibly impressive nonetheless. Even more so given that the entire realm was made out of E Rank materials.
Sam had yet to discover what exactly the scaling was for non living things under the System, but he was sure that it at least followed the patterns of cultivation to some extent. Generally, things like stone or earth were around the level of power of a low tier cultivator of that Rank, meaning that Sam's devastation of this hill would be like a level 10 demolishing a large building with a single punch. Needless to say, his stats were well beyond the norm.
Before he could do anything other than jump out of the pit that he had found himself in, there was an explosion on the horizon. Sam's eyes snapped towards it, a mushroom cloud of fire and nuclear light rising towards the ceiling of the realm. With his enhanced senses, he could just about make out a man within it. It was too far even for Sam to tell much about him, save for his overall shape and his weapon, a huge warhammer comparable to Terra's Will in size. Sam sighed, feeling a System notification pop up just beyond his sight. The next quest had come to greet him, it seemed.
