Wisteria whips Lucian; he bites down his screams as the strong whip tears his skin and soaks the fabric of his shirt with blood. "It's simple." Wisteria groans as she continues whipping Lucian in anger and frustration; she was unable to find a spell that could subdue the beast magic in him and put Lucian fully in her control. "The only way for you to stop this, end your pain, and live a life outside of this cell is to just agree to be my son."
As long as Lucian doesn't choose to willingly agree to be her son, then there is no way to force him. Wisteria had tried being nice to lure Lucian into her motherly embrace, but it didn't work. The only option left was the hard way.
"Even if I end up getting a second life, I will still tell you no. I'm not your puppet. You want a son so much, go mate with a male beast and give birth to one, you fucking freak!" Lucian weakly yelled out in anger.
When Wisteria had appeared in his cell, he had plans to provoke her into telling him where the dungeon king is. But every rejection he had thrown at her over the days fueled her rage, and now she was finally letting it out.
"I'm human!" Wisteria gave a forceful slash against Lucian's back, making his body hit the floor. "Is this the reason you are refusing to be my son? Because you think I'm a freaky beast?" She asked. "I'm human, Lucian. Look at me!" She spins around, but Lucian didn't spare her a glance like she wanted.
Lucian tried using his elbow to support himself; his body was bleeding badly. Now he was starting to regret ever sympathizing with her pain; with how crazy she is, she deserves it.
"You are a damned beast; it doesn't matter if you accept it or not. Nothing is ever going to change the way you are, not even death, because I will forever remember you as a beast." Lucian sat upright, smiling cruelly at Wisteria when he saw that he was hurting her feelings. Although Lucian didn't have the physical strength to defend himself against her, his words were his only option. "Not only are you a beast, but you are still useless, just the way you were years ago. Your cursed beast form may have given you the ability to control mana and use magic, but it didn't make you stronger than the dungeon king; once again a demon still rules over your life and that of your people." Lucian chuckled, ignoring his pain. "The dungeon king has absolute power over every dungeon; you may play around as the chief of your village, but we all know who the real ruler of this place is."
'Yes.' Lucian thought. Wisteria was fuming in anger. 'Take the bait and tell me where that bastard is.'
Lucian curses when Wisteria uses her magic to cover the whip in her hand in flames. He shut his eyes as she lifted her hand up, waiting for the impact, but the whip hit the floor; the close impact with it sent a little flame to his arm, burning his arm for a short while before it disappeared.
Wisteria let go of her whip and tried approaching Lucian, but he crawled away from her.
Lucian's hand hit something hard on the floor; looking at what it was, his eyes widened in surprise as he discovered that it was human bones.
"You are not supposed to see that." Wisteria giggles in a crazy shy tone. She intended to break Lucian until he agreed to be her son, but she didn't want to go as far as to show him what he had been sleeping on for days in his cellar. The dead bones of every human who had once disobeyed Wisteria and her people. Once any human came to this cell, death was the only thing waiting for them. "I must have hit the floor too hard; sorry for that."
Wisteria cast a healing spell on Lucian. Although she was able to use all elements of magic, she wasn't perfect with this particular magic. Her healing spell got rid of some of the wounds on Lucian's body, but not all.
"Be a good boy and behave, Lucian." She tried stroking Lucian's hair, but he pulled away and glared at her. Unable to stop herself, Wisteria slaps Lucian hard on his cheek. The healing spell she did took a lot of her magic and has made her unable to use her magic for a while; she expected Lucian to be grateful, not ungrateful.
"Is that all you have got?" Lucian's cheek was hot red as he gave Wisteria a smug smile. "For a beast, you hit like a little girl; the dungeon king can hit better than you."
'That demon can never be better than me.' Wisteria frowned. 'He's not stronger than me, and his powers don't exist in this dungeon. It never will.'
"How can you praise a demon over your own mother?" Wisteria's voice is full of disdain. "Is this because I decided to punish you a little today? As your mother, it's my duty to correct your wrong."
"Where is that demon anyway?" Lucian asked, happy that the conversation was finally going the way he wanted. "Shouldn't you report to your lord before you kill me?"
"The only lord in this dungeon is me. That demon doesn't have any authority in this dungeon; he may in other dungeons, but not this one. This is my dungeon, controlled by my rules and power alone."
Lucian chuckled, 'She doesn't know where the dungeon king is. 'The fucking lady doesn't know anything.'
"Stop laughing, Lucian. You are getting on my nerves. Don't make me hit you again."
Lucian laughed harder, to the point that it almost seemed like Wisteria's lack of sanity had rubbed off on him.
"Knowing that you were a fool hundreds of years ago and a fool today is too funny. You have been living in this dungeon for so long, and yet you didn't know who its true master is?" Lucian felt satisfied by the twisted dark expressions on Wisteria's face. "I bet that demon must be laughing at you every time you act like a great wise ruler. I wonder what kind of childish games he's playing. Tell me, crazy lady, is it normal for a beast to be accepted in a dungeon without the permission of the dungeon owner?" Confusion fills Wisteria's angry face. "Who do you think gave me the permission to use my beast ability?"
"It's him." Wisteria mumbles out in disbelief.
"You just got one percent wiser," Lucian said coldly. "I would have clapped for you, but thanks to you, my arms and the rest of my body hurt even after your damn sad excuse for healing magic. I know a better healer than you."
Wisteria barely pays attention to Lucian's words. She locks his cell. 'He can't be in this dungeon. 'I'm going to kill that demon,' she thought as she walked away.
