[ You have leveled up. ]

"Whoa~ I'm finally level 56! I did it! Awesome!" Tundra celebrated as he felt his body completely recover from any injuries as well. Even his almost depleted Spirit Points had recovered.

It was a perfect time to level up…

At this time, Nia also received the Bonus Rewards for participating in the battle, and she finally lowered her hands as the petrifying spheres she summoned slowly faded.

"We did it… Two Zombie Lords." Nia muttered as she wanted to celebrate for a bit.

However, the situation wasn't good, so they had to quickly assist with the construction before the next wave came.

Still, she couldn't help but wonder about the situation of other Shelters. Since their weaker shelter was attacked by two Zombie Lords, the powerful Shelters like the Eclipse Domain, New Genesis, and others must be under the assault of three or more Zombie Lords!

***

With both Zombie Lords defeated, the shelter's defense teams shifted focus.

The Warden Units received new directives from the Command Center and immediately began the reconstruction process.

Heavy lifters rolled in from the storage bay, dragging various beams and alloy panels toward the damaged area.

Super Soldiers had also arrived, putting some support beams into place as quickly as possible. Then, they removed the broken wall and debris to place a new one.

In just a few minutes, one broken section of the wall was cleared, and soon a new section was installed layer by layer.

Several Warden Units worked in tandem, lifting collapsed barricades and reassembling turret mounts…

Since they were machines, their movements were efficient, calculated, and tireless… They were the best labor force aside from the Super Soldiers…

Unlike human workers, they didn't need rest. They didn't hesitate. They just followed the repair protocols that Cloud had installed on them.

Tundra watched as a new segment of the wall was locked into place.

Because it wasn't perfectly connected to the remaining wall, its plating was thicker than before. Reinforced only with some talisman and shock-absorbing anchors. It was clear that Reylin had ordered upgrades.

Nearby, Duran assisted with the manual reinforcement… Other high-level Survivors also joined in, hauling debris and repositioning the defensive structures.

During this time, Nia also coordinated with the engineers, marking weak points and suggesting structural adjustments.

Her plenty of experience had given her a unique sense of battlefield pressure, and she used it to guide the placement of new support beams.

Behind the front line, the medical staff had also been mobilized.

White tents were set up near the second defense ring. Various healers and combat medics moved quickly, checking vitals and applying recovery salves to those who needed.

"We have a lot of patients…" One of the healers felt worried since they weren't sure when the next wave would come. They needed to hurry.

"It doesn't matter… All those suspected to be infected by the Zombie Virus must receive the stabilizers immediately."

"Yes, Ma'am!"

Just like that, injured Survivors were laid out on stretchers, their armor removed and their wounds exposed to be treated immediately.

Some had burns. Others had Spirit backlash. A few were unconscious from prolonged exposure to suppression fields.

The medics worked fast.

One team used special crystals unique to Blood Talen Shelter to restore spirit energy and cure wounds.

However, for those who had a bit more severe injury, they would have to use other methods, like potions that came from Anna, if they did not have a Survivor who had any healing skills.

As for those serious cases that needed quick surgery or something similar, they were transferred to the underground infirmary, where advanced equipment could help handle them.

Tundra passed by one of the tents and saw a familiar face… Joan, one of the supply officers, was lying on a stretcher with a cracked helmet and a bandaged arm.

"You're alive," Tundra said.

Roan gave a weak smile. "Barely. Ves nearly crushed me. Medic said I'll be fine in a few hours."

Tundra nodded and moved on…

He was here for something else…

At the far end of the field, a separate team handled the dead.

Bodies were collected with care. Tags were scanned, and their names were recorded. The fallen were placed in sealed containers, ready for transport to the memorial chamber.

None of them were familiar to him, but seeing the dead made him feel emotional.

No one really spoke during this part.

Even the Warden Units seemed to have slowed their pace…

With Shane's influence, Reylin had ordered full honors for every casualty. No one would be forgotten.

***

Tundra then turned away from the memorial containers…

Before he could return to the wall, one of the Super Soldiers approached him.

The man was tall and seemed to have been helping the construction of the wall just now.

"Sir Tundra…" the Super Soldier said. "We recovered something unusual."

Tundra raised an eyebrow. "What is it?"

The soldier opened the box slightly, just enough for Tundra to see inside.

It was a red skull…

It was not bloodstained or painted. The bone itself was red or deep crimson…

Tundra frowned. "Where did you get it? Is it dropped by one of the zombies?"

"Yes… But we don't know what type of Zombie since it was buried." The soldier replied. "Miss Nia assumed that it probably didn't disappear after the system's Loot function was activated on one of the Zombies."

Tundra leaned closer. He could feel something from it…

He tried to appraise it, but to his surprise, it didn't work!

It couldn't even be stored in his inventory!

'What is this thing?' Tundra paused as he knew that he had to inform Shane about this.
