Don’t Play Games at Evil Spirit High

Ch. 39

Chapter 39: Bloodstained Restaurant

Bang!!!

The door was slammed shut, and Dong Ningning stood at the entrance in disheveled clothes, her eyes carrying a trace of confusion.

Recalling what Lin You had just said, “Sorry, I don’t like you,” Dong Ningning’s expression gradually twisted.

She had never believed in the so-called iron straight man.

Men were animals who thought with their lower halves.

If someone wasn’t moved by you, it was simply because you weren’t alluring enough.

The so-called “iron” only meant he hadn’t yet met someone who could make him soften.

It was precisely because she held onto this belief that Dong Ningning knew exactly where her advantage lay—

When facing any man, she could always present herself in the way most likely to arouse his desire.

Whether it was Wu Fan or Zhang Yifeng, it had been the same.

She had only slightly displayed her charm, and they had so easily fallen head over heels for her.

Therefore, when facing Lin You, that little virgin, Dong Ningning had almost absolute confidence that she could leave him utterly defenseless, captured by her with ease.

Yet the outcome had been completely unexpected.

That damned virgin had actually kicked her out?

Was this something a normal man could do?

For a moment, Dong Ningning couldn’t figure out where the problem lay.

Could it be that she truly had no attraction to Lin You at all?

Or was it that his sexual orientation was the issue?

Between the two, Dong Ningning preferred to believe the latter.

At this thought, she couldn’t help but grit her teeth.

She had thought Lin You had a good impression of her, and she could easily use that to achieve her purpose.

Who would have thought things would turn out like this...

Taking a deep breath, Dong Ningning forced herself to calm down.

Too much had happened today, leaving her more agitated than usual.

But she could not afford to be rash now.

She had to remain rational and composed to ensure she won the final victory in this game.

Dong Ningning silently adjusted her clothes and turned to head back to her room.

But if Lu Feng knew her thoughts at that moment, he would probably laugh his head off.

Because he knew Lin You far too well.

He wasn’t as Dong Ningning imagined.

He was simply far too faithful to the one he loved.

Back in her room, Dong Ningning found that Bai Quye wasn’t there, but she couldn’t care less about that woman’s life or death... or rather, she would be glad if Bai Quye died.

That woman had nearly ruined her plan…

Thinking of what had happened during the day, Dong Ningning’s face turned gloomy.

… But it wouldn’t be long before she never had to see her again.

At that thought, her brows eased, and the corners of her lips lifted into a subtle smile.

Yes, the initiative was still in her hands, while Lu Feng and the others… had very little time left.

Bai Quye walked with her head drooping, swaying unsteadily.

Her face was as pale as paper.

Her eyes, wide open, were unfocused, her pupils dilated like a corpse’s.

If not for the faint rise and fall of her chest, anyone might have mistaken her for the walking dead.

She staggered forward, seemingly without aim, yet her steps always carried her in one direction.

The dining hall.

It was dinnertime, and a good number of her classmates had gathered in the dining hall to eat.

Even though what had happened today was dreadful, human physiological needs could never be escaped.

No matter how unwilling one was to eat, the body would eventually force them to.

Bai Quye pushed open the door and stumbled into the dining hall.

A few people noticed her odd behavior, but since she had just gone through a suicide attempt, it wasn’t all that strange for her to act a bit abnormal.

Besides, everyone was struggling to survive themselves.

Who had the energy to care about others?

So no one paid attention to the clearly unusual Bai Quye.

And Bai Quye walked straight past the dining students, heading directly toward the kitchen.

Inside, all kinds of utensils were displayed, most rusted over.

She lifted her head, scanning the kitchen, her lifeless gaze finally fixing on one spot.

Bai Quye walked toward it, where all kinds of knives were displayed.

She picked through them, finally choosing a relatively sharp kitchen knife.

But she didn’t seem satisfied, and soon pulled out the heaviest cleaver instead.

The dining hall was crowded, yet everyone ate in silence, as if fulfilling an obligation.

Other than chewing, no sound was heard.

At that moment, Bai Quye walked out from the kitchen, but no one lifted their head to look at her.

The girl soundlessly approached Yang Yang from behind, staring at him with an eerie expression.

Sensing something, Yang Yang looked back in slight surprise—only to see Bai Quye standing right behind him.

Just as he was about to ask her something, a flash of cold light swept across his vision—

Crack—

Blood sprayed instantly, splashing across Yang Yang’s bewildered face and onto the exquisite food on the table.

In the next second, his expression shifted from confusion to terror, and a shrill scream tore through the quiet dining hall.

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!”

Clutching the severed stump of his right arm, Yang Yang collapsed to the ground, wailing in agony.

Blood gushed from his wound like a spring, while his severed arm lay beside him, a cooling lump of bone and flesh.

Crack—

Another flash of the cleaver, and Yang Yang’s scream grew sharper, more piercing.

His legs were neatly hacked apart by Bai Quye’s hand.

Blood sprayed across her entire body, as if scarlet paint had been splattered over her.

Finally, the sharp knife swung down, and Yang Yang’s scream was cut short—

His head rolled across the floor, still twisted in a silent howl even in death.

The suddenness of it all left everyone frozen.

In barely ten seconds, a living person had been butchered before their eyes.

The next moment, panic exploded.

Terrified screams filled the air as people rushed frantically toward the dining hall doors like headless flies.

But the doors were sealed tight by some unknown force.

No matter how much they kicked or rammed, it didn’t budge an inch.

“Why won’t it open!! Why won’t the door open!!?”

“She’s here! She’s here!! Open the door, hurry!!!”

“Help!! Bai Quye’s gone mad!! Someone save us!!!”

The crowd screamed like lunatics, sobbing hysterically, like some grotesque blood-soaked sacrificial ritual in a horror film.

Behind them, Bai Quye gripped her blood-dripping weapon in both hands, step by step closing in.

Her entire body was drenched in blood, her pupils vanished, leaving only whites as her dead eyes locked onto the panicked crowd.

A twisted, eerie smile spread across her face.

The next second, screams rang out, organs were torn apart, limbs flew, and crimson blood pooled into rivers across the carpet.

That night, the entire dining hall was drowned in red.
