That evening, Mr. Li distributed noodles to each group. The idea was for everyone to eat noodles together that night.

This was an easy task. Lin Feng simply made a tomato and egg sauce for the noodles. For the parents, preparing noodles didn't pose much of a culinary challenge. You could say it was the most enjoyable meal the moms had cooked so far.

After dinner, Mr. Li and some staff members put up an outdoor movie screen to show the children an animated movie. As they watched the film, they also played a game of "drop the handkerchief." All the parents joined in, playing and having fun with their kids. Before long, the entire campsite was filled with joyous laughter.

As night fell, the staff set up a campfire. Parents and children sat together by the fire, playing games, singing, and dancing.

Finally, Mr. Li would call on families one by one to perform for everyone. As the star family of the class, it was no surprise that Lin Feng's family was chosen.

"I wonder what kind of performance you've prepared," Mr. Li said. "You have one minute to get ready!"

The moment Mr. Li finished speaking, Fourth Treasure suggested, "How about we sing a song together?"

"You kids go ahead and decide," Lin Feng said. "Your mom and I will fully support you!"

Fourth Treasure suggested singing, but Second Treasure insisted on performing a play. "What's so fun about singing? Let's perform 'Snow White' instead!"

Tian Tian, who was standing nearby, was the first to wholeheartedly support the idea. "Yes, perform 'Snow White'! We want to see 'Snow White'!"

Mr. Li asked with a smile, "So, have you decided? Are you singing or putting on a play?"

Second Treasure announced loudly, "Mr. Li, we want to perform 'Snow White'!"

Fourth Treasure had no objections; anything was fine with him.

Second Treasure immediately made a decision. "Mom, you'll be Snow White, and Dad, you'll be the Prince. That means we have four dwarves!"

Zhang Yuxi had no objections. "Okay, Mommy will do whatever you say!"

Mr. Li announced loudly, "Alright, let's all enjoy the story of 'Snow White,' brought to us by the Lin family!"

Second Treasure wasn't just playing a dwarf; she was also the narrator. "Once upon a time, there was a very beautiful princess who lost her mother when she was very young. Her father then married a new queen, but this queen disliked her very, very much!"

"The queen had a magic mirror..." At this point, Second Treasure shot a glance at Zhang Yuxi and whispered, "Mom, you're the Queen now!"

Only then did Zhang Yuxi realize what was happening. So I'm playing multiple roles, huh?

Second Treasure narrated, "The Queen would ask the magic mirror every day..."

Zhang Yuxi looked at her daughter and quickly picked up her line. "Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?"

Second Treasure gave Lin Feng a look. Lin Feng understood instantly.

"My dear Queen, Snow White is the fairest of them all!"

Zhang Yuxi quickly retorted, "Impossible! I am the fairest of them all!"

Crap, for some reason, saying these lines is so embarrassing! But the arrow is already on the bowstring; I have to go through with it.

Second Treasure narrated, "Hearing this, the Queen was very angry, and she summoned a hunter!"

Zhang Yuxi was speechless. Oh, right, it's my turn to speak again!

"I command you to kill Snow White!" Zhang Yuxi declared.

Except for Second Treasure, everyone else looked confused, wondering who was supposed to be the Hunter.

Second Treasure gave Fourth Treasure a look.

Fourth Treasure instantly caught on. With exaggerated movements and a dramatic tone, he declared, "Ah, my beloved Queen! Leave this task to me! I will bring you Snow White's heart!"

Zhang Yuxi, who was playing the Queen, thought to herself, Wait a minute, when did I say I wanted her heart?

"And so," Second Treasure continued, "the Hunter went after Snow White to take her heart and kill her!"

Zhang Yuxi recalled that Second Treasure had cast her as Snow White. Just as she was about to speak her lines, she saw Second Treasure give Third Treasure a look.

"Please don't kill me, okay? I'm a good person!" Third Treasure pleaded, now playing Snow White.

"I have to kill you!" Fourth Treasure retorted. "It's your fault for being so pretty!"

"Is being pretty a sin?" Third Treasure asked.

The crowd burst out laughing at these lines. Everyone couldn't help but chuckle.

Fourth Treasure put on a fierce expression. "That's right! Being pretty is a sin! Who told you to be more beautiful than the Queen? She ordered me to kill you!"

"No way!" Third Treasure said, looking shocked.

Second Treasure, as the narrator, said, "Seeing how kind Snow White was, the Hunter decided to let her go!"

"And so, Snow White fled to a small cottage. She was thirsty and hungry! Just as she was about to eat some delicious food she found on the table, six dwarves suddenly appeared!"

Six? The couple—Lin Feng and Zhang Yuxi—were stunned. Did she just count us in that number?

So the two of them joined in as dwarves, their height making them stand out conspicuously.

Second Treasure spoke first. "Who are you? How did you get here? And you're trying to eat our food! You're a thief!"

Third Treasure quickly explained, "I'm not a thief! I'm a good person, and I'm a princess. Someone was trying to kill me, so I've been running for a long time. I'm thirsty and hungry, so I just wanted to get something to eat!"

Second Treasure hastily replied, "Fine, I believe you!"

Lin Feng hesitated. "Should we really trust her just like that? It doesn't seem right."

"She's so pretty!" Second Treasure retorted. "How could she be lying?"

First Treasure suddenly piped up, "But I heard the prettier someone is, the more likely they are to lie!"

"Well, what else should we do?" Second Treasure argued. "Let her starve outside?"

"Then come on in," Fourth Treasure said. "Eat whatever you want!"

"Thank you!" Third Treasure said sweetly.

Second Treasure continued her narration. "Just then, the Queen learned from her magic mirror that Snow White wasn't dead. So, she summoned the Hunter again!"

Who's the Hunter?

Lin Feng reminded him, "Fourth Treasure, you're the Hunter!"

Zhang Yuxi thought, Oh, right! I'm still the Queen! She quickly stepped away from the group of dwarves and transformed back into the Queen.

"You didn't kill Snow White? Why?"

Fourth Treasure, as the Hunter, replied, "Because she was too beautiful!"

Zhang Yuxi was speechless.

Second Treasure narrated, "And so, the Queen decided to take matters into her own hands and kill Snow White! She found a poisoned apple and went to find Snow White!"

Following Second Treasure's narration, Zhang Yuxi pretended to hold an apple and walked toward Third Treasure. She deliberately put on a wheedling voice, "Lovely little girl, would you like an apple?"

Third Treasure flatly refused. "No, I don't!"

Huh? Why isn't she following the script?

Zhang Yuxi coaxed, "Come on, this apple is so sweet, so delicious!"

Third Treasure retorted, "If you say so, why don't you have a bite first?"

Zhang Yuxi was at a loss for words.

The onlooking crowd was roaring with laughter. This family was absolutely hilarious.

Second Treasure must have felt she couldn't take it anymore, because she interjected, "Snow White is thirsty! She wants to eat the apple now!"

Third Treasure went with the flow. "Alright, I'll have a taste then. I was just joking earlier."

Zhang Yuxi was speechless again. She handed the imaginary apple to Third Treasure.

Third Treasure mimed taking it and began to pretend to eat the apple. She kept saying how delicious it was as she "ate," looking very convincing.

Second Treasure announced, "Suddenly, Snow White choked! She fainted!"

Third Treasure clutched her throat and fell to the ground gracefully.

Second Treasure continued, "Just then, the five dwarves returned!"

Pfft, weren't there six of them just a moment ago? Everyone looked at each other, wondering what had happened to the sixth one.

Second Treasure gave Lin Feng a meaningful glance.

Lin Feng understood. I guess I'm supposed to be the Prince soon.

The dwarves crowded around Snow White, speaking with great emotion while trying to suppress their laughter.

"Oh, Snow White, what's wrong? Please wake up!"

"My poor Snow White, are you okay..."

"Is our poor Snow White dead?"

The audience could hardly keep from laughing. They're supposed to be crying, so why do they look so happy?

Second Treasure's voice piped up from among the dwarves, "At that moment, the Prince arrived..."

Clearly, Lin Feng was meant to be the Prince. Just as he was about to move, Fourth Treasure, who was eager to play the Prince, jumped out first. "Wow, my Princess, what's happened to you?"

Lin Feng, who had already stepped forward, looked completely baffled. Second Treasure was also stunned.

But Fourth Treasure was delighted. He started vigorously shaking Third Treasure's head. "Princess, Snow White, wake up..."

Third Treasure's head was starting to ache from all the shaking, so she had no choice but to "slowly revive." And like that, Snow White awoke.

Second Treasure continued narrating, "After learning what had happened, the kingdom punished the Queen!"

Zhang Yuxi, as the Queen, clutched her chest and addressed the King. "I didn't want this to happen... but this humble servant just couldn't help herself!" At that moment, she too morphed into a drama queen.

Second Treasure delivered the closing line. "And so, Snow White and the Prince became sworn siblings, and they all lived happily ever after."

The audience: What?! This must be the 'Bizarro Snow White' or something.

When the "play" ended, everyone applauded and cheered, laughing uncontrollably.

Mr. Li, holding back his laughter, asked, "Everyone, wasn't that a great performance?"

"It was great!" everyone shouted in unison.

"Then let's give them a big round of applause, shall we?" Mr. Li said.

"Yes!" the crowd roared, bursting into thunderous applause.

And so, the Lin family's performance came to a perfect conclusion.

Some parents began getting their children ready for bed, while other kids continued to play with their friends. Fourth Treasure was so full of energy that he was definitely not going to bed this early. The same went for the sociable First Treasure and Second Treasure, who loved being in the middle of the action. Only Third Treasure, the obedient one, went to sleep on time.

Zhang Yuxi had been playing with the kids all day and was completely exhausted, so she went to sleep with Third Treasure.

Lin Feng looked at his three spirited "huskies." He had to admit, taking care of four children required a level of stamina that not just anyone could possess.

Liu Qing's daughter, Tian Tian, had been dragged into playing with the "three huskies" all evening and was now fast asleep from exhaustion.

After a long time playing, Lin Feng gave the kids some water to drink. Seeing it was getting late, he coaxed the energetic trio to bed.
