Apocalypse: My Talent Is Infinite

Chapter 76: Rebate

BOOOOOOOOM!

The moment the Zulcan's back touched the thunder Aron had conjured, it detonated.

The explosion sent the Zulcan crashing down from the sky at immense speed.

Its massive body fell directly onto the weapons Aron had arranged, the sharp points piercing through its flesh and tearing into its back with almost no resistance.

Its body jerked violently before coming to a stop, skewered perfectly at the intersection of the spears.

Green blood gushed from its wounds, spilling downward in an attempt to pour over Aron.

But Aron was a tad faster.

Water materialized instantly, forming a transparent barrier that blocked the blood before it could reach him.

He stepped aside and stood silently, watching the skyward Zulcan that was barely clinging to life.

"Y-you... Y-you…" the creature coughed out blood, its eyes filled with unwillingness, dread, fear, and countless other emotions before it finally fell unconscious.

Aron's cold gaze lingered on it for a second before he used Earth Control to summon the timer back to his hand.

Picking it up, he looked at the display. 1 minute, 4 seconds.

Aron frowned.

"Is this how far I've fallen?" he muttered, letting out a small, depressed sigh.

(Whatever)

He returned the timer to his storage space and glanced at the skewered Zulcan, shaking his head.

The reason he had held those weapons was simple.

Unlike the weapons from the Carriage, which were strong, his were just for decoration, cheap cosplay pieces from Solara that could easily break.

But with his ability, Indestructor, which rendered even paper indestructible, he had managed to overcome that hurdle.

Aron had no intention of killing the Zulcan yet.

His gaze drifted across the barren land stretching endlessly around him.

From what the Zulcan had said earlier, only when one of them died would he be freed from this place.

So, Aron decided to stay for a while, to go through his spoils of war and see if he could find a way to increase his strength before finishing off the Zulcan and returning.

He summoned all thirty of his clones.

From his storage space, he brought out a tent and a few items.

Within moments, the clones got to work.

Once the tent was set up, Aron commanded twenty-nine of the clones to stand guard around the skewered Zulcan, now unconscious, just in case something unexpected happened.

Finally, Aron stepped into the tent while the remaining clone turned on the generator placed beside it.

Inside, Aron nodded in satisfaction.

The arrangement was perfect, even though he didn't plan on staying long.

Life was flicky for one not to enjoy every bit of it.

A king-sized bed sat against one side, with a cushion, a center table, and a soft carpet rug beneath.

A TV stood in front of the bed, and a standing air conditioner hummed quietly in the corner, all powered by the generator outside.

Aron sat on the cushion and brought out a full meal from his storage, white rice with stew, peppered fish and chicken on the side, a glass of lemon juice, and plate of fresh fruits.

Since arriving in this strange world, all his meals had been plain meat, tasteless and only good for filling the stomach.

He used his spoon to cut a piece of the fish, scooped up some rice and stew, and took a bite.

"Mmm."

As he savored the taste, Aron summoned his Status window.

Aron was surprised, to say the least.

Four million-plus EXP was no small number.

Without a second thought, he claimed the talent.

[Rebate – Multiply self-gain by 100x.]

Aron let out a sigh of relief. "Now to the main deal."

He walked out of the tent toward the Zulcan, whose blood was still dripping from its unconscious, massive body skewered by the spears.

His clones stood guard around it, silent and alert.

They parted as Aron approached.

He stopped before the creature and placed his hand on its rough skin.

Immediately, a notification appeared before his eyes.

Author note:

If you've read this far, then it's clear you're loving the journey just as much as I enjoy writing it.

But here's the truth: stories don't grow on their own. They grow because of you, the readers who stand beside them. And on Webnovel, your Powerstones, Golden ticket and engagement are the heartbeat that keeps a novel alive. Each support you cast isn't just a number on a chart. It's a signal that you want more, that you believe Aron's story deserves to climb higher, to reach more people, to carve its name into the rankings where it belongs.

So thank you, for every stone, every ticket, every moment you've given this story. You are the reason Aron's world lives and grows.

Let's walk through the apocalypse together.
