Chapter 208: Who Is Qin Chuan?

It was indeed inconvenient for Wen Yaxin's parent not to come.

However, the attitude of the counselor made Qin Chuan feel a bit indignant.

Immediately, he couldn't help but angrily retort, "You haven't cleared things up yet, what gives you the right to sentence the student?"

"Impact, do you know what impact is?"

Wen Yaxin's counselor stood firm: "This matter has already fermented online and has severely affected the reputation of the Communication University."

"Since you all know the impact is significant, shouldn't you investigate the matter thoroughly instead of pinning all the blame on an innocent student?" Qin Chuan argued with reason.

"Innocent? You think she's innocent?"

The counselor tossed a stack of documents: "Don't the photos on these documents say it all? If she's not that kind of person, who would spread rumors about her for no reason?"

Qin Chuan glanced at those so-called photos.

All these photos were taken from candid angles.

They consisted of pictures of Wen Yaxin going in and out of nightclubs, drinking, and dancing in them.

Yet, among so many photos, there wasn't a single one showing Wen Yaxin with any kind of ambiguity with a guy.

There were only shots of Wen Yaxin coldly facing the boys who approached her.

To Qin Chuan, these photos not only failed to prove that Wen Yaxin was promiscuous but instead proved she was a girl who maintained her self-respect.

Moreover, no one has more authority on whether Wen Yaxin is promiscuous than he does.

Since Wen Yaxin's first time was with him.

Based solely on these photos, Communication University intends to convict Wen Yaxin, which clearly represents the lazy governance of 'it's better to kill the wrong than let it go.'

Thinking of this, Qin Chuan was indignant: "With only these photos, you want to expel an innocent student. Does that mean every student who has been to a bar should be expelled?"

"Stop manipulating concepts here; we're discussing the issue of Wen Yaxin, not shifting the blame onto other students." The counselor warned.

Qin Chuan sneered, "And you think you're still a university teacher, yet you don't have a clear understanding of who's manipulating concepts?"

"Alright, alright, I can't be bothered arguing with you. It's a done deal; if you have any objections, feel free to talk to the principal."

The counselor looked smug, "If there's nothing else, go back to the dorm and pack, I have a class to attend."

With that, he began packing his textbooks, as if the matter was already settled.

Wen Yaxin raised her face, trying her best to keep her tears from falling, then sadly tugged at Qin Chuan's sleeve, "Let's go."

"It's fine, since he won't listen, I'll find those who can."

Qin Chuan comforted Wen Yaxin a few times, and then led her out of the counselor's office.

"Forget it, Qin Chuan, I know you're doing this for my good, but now, given the circumstances, I don't want to continue school anyway." Wen Yaxin said sadly.

"You can choose not to attend school, but we can't just accept being bullied without fighting back."

Qin Chuan said while pulling out his phone to call Li Qinyi, Jiang Banxia's secretary.

"For the school again, and this time it's Communication University. Looks like your romantic entanglements sure are flourishing," Li Qinyi quipped upon understanding the situation.

"Hehe..."

Qin Chuan chuckled awkwardly.

"Normally, I wouldn't want to help a guy like you, but since the girl is innocent, being slandered, I'll reluctantly help you again."

Li Qinyi laughed and said, "Remember, this time I'm helping you out personally, you owe me one."

"Okay, no problem." Qin Chuan felt he was already burdened with lots of debts.

As long as he could help Wen Yaxin, a mere favor meant nothing.

After receiving Li Qinyi's assurance, Qin Chuan told Wen Yaxin, "We'll wait for a bit, someone reasonable will be here soon."

Wen Yaxin half-heartedly nodded, not harboring much hope inside.

Unless they could find the slandering person, the situation could not be reversed at all.

However, the other party posted the message through an overseas network, making it challenging to trace, something she couldn't resolve alone.

Even with Qin Chuan's help, the difficulties were immense.

Nevertheless, Qin Chuan's intention moved her profoundly.

So, even though she held no hope, she still obediently sat beside Qin Chuan, quietly accompanying him.

Soon, a half-hour passed, and the counselor who claimed he was headed to class casually ambled downstairs.

By now, half an hour had passed since he said he was going to class; clearly, his previous words were just an excuse to send them away.

Seeing Qin Chuan and Wen Yaxin downstairs still, he was startled, his face suddenly darkening, "Why are you still here? You're not done yet, are you?"

"Why, are you extending your control, is Communication University owned by your family?" Qin Chuan didn't show any courtesy.

"Don't think I don't know what you're up to, just waiting for Principal Wen right?"

The counselor showed no sign of panic, and even sneered, "Let me advise you to go back and pack your things, it's pointless; the expulsion order came directly from Principal Wen."

Qin Chuan sneered and shook his head, no longer bothering with this lofty counselor.

"Ungrateful, humph!"

The counselor snorted coldly, holding his textbook as he leisurely walked toward the teaching buildings.

But after just a few minutes, he hurried back, with a hint of gravity on his face.

Already in a foul mood, he grew even more irritable seeing Qin Chuan and Wen Yaxin, "If you're going to wait, wait elsewhere, don't be an eyesore here."

After venting his frustration, he hurried upstairs.

Soon, two school security personnel came over and moved Qin Chuan and Wen Yaxin to a corner.

Qin Chuan could care less about arguing with them, waiting leisurely.

On the other side, Wen Yaxin's counselor went upstairs and headed directly to the principal's office.

"Principal... Principal Wen, you called me?" Wen Yaxin's counselor asked nervously, sweat already forming a circle on his forehead.

He was halfway through walking when he received a call from Communication University Principal Wen Jianrong.

Although Wen Jianrong didn't say much over the phone, his tone suggested he was upset and a bit panicked.

Intuition told him that something major had happened, and it involved him.

Sure enough, Wen Jianrong angrily slammed the table, pointed at the counselor's nose, and questioned, "I'm asking you, why'd you go provoke Qin Chuan?"

"Qin... Qin Chuan?"

Wen Yaxin's counselor was stunned, "Who... who is Qin Chuan?"
