As time passed, the tremor in the ground intensified, for the queen it was something to rejoice since her swarm of mutant spiders had finally arrived, she had scattered them to cover the entire forest, but now they were concentrated around her cave.

For Rouke and the others, the news was not pleasant, on the contrary, confirmation of their deaths had arrived, and the underground cavern did not take long to collapse in on itself.

Thanks to Alex's knight, the blue spirit guild suffered no damage, but now they were facing an army of mutant spiders that they couldn't count, everyone was terrified to say the least, how would they survive now?

Tiffany was fully aware of what would come next, regrets, several important and totally useless things went through his head, at the end of the day there was no one to blame, he had chosen to be part of this dungeon.

Hunters died every day fighting monsters, from this perspective, their fate was not that tragic, but it was still regrettable that it would be remembered as static of hunters killed in dungeons.

"Are we going to leave them here?" Tiffany pointed at Alex and her rider and pointed

"It's his fault we're in this situation, if you want to be with him this time I won't stop you, go ahead. He has someone protecting him, maybe he'll survive if he's lucky," Rouke said annoyed.

It's not that Tiffany cared about Alex, quite the opposite, she even wished for this man's death, but leaving someone unconscious due to her luck seemed wrong and that perhaps weighed a little on her coincidence.

Green blood flowed from the wound, their screams only increased as time passed, some of the mutant spiders approached their queen, but they found themselves helpless, not knowing what to do.

The queen's body collapsed to the ground, crushing many of the mutant spiders that were there. The pain she felt was indescribable even for some monsters. She felt part of her being devoured from the inside.

Something was devouring her and the pain she saw with it was unbearable to the point where she pierced herself several times, her blood and acids mixing as she tried to fight against whatever was devouring her from the inside.

Her organs were being devoured at such a speed that the queen could only cry out in pain as she struggled, worse still, she felt her swarm was decreasing as time passed.

She couldn't understand why her creations were fighting each other, or rather, 14 warriors who didn't obey her were destroying her swarm.

Her 8 eyes blinked as she realized what could be happening, with her and her swarm, that bastard of a king wasn't dead, that was the only thing the queen could think.

However, this realization came too late, her body was pierced from the inside out, most of her vital organs had been devoured, being alive was nothing short of a complete miracle, she felt like she would die at any moment.

Inside her body a pale hand rose amidst the queen's blood and blood , eyes as black as night that revealed no emotion, hair as white as snow.

A body of a small young man was revealed, he looked to be between 15 to 16 years old if his body was compared to a human body.

The spider king stared at his progenitor, the queen's 8 eyes closed revealing anger, he knew he had been cursed by a spider queen, the king didn't care.

When the queen's eyes closed, the unity that held the swarm together broke, without the queen the swarm had no leader to follow and the king of spiders did not care about his brothers.

The 14 warriors left the battlefield and headed towards their king, they prostrated themselves in unison welcoming their king, they trembled when they saw the corpse of their queen.

The king didn't care about them, he just looked at Alex who was lying on the ground, his eyes blinked for a moment, he raised his hands and a set of web came out of his pores.

The silky web ensemble covered his entire body and morphed into a suit similar to the one Alex was wearing, only white and completely fitted to the king's size.

The spider king looked at his appearance and nodded his head. The suit was the same color as his hair and this contrasted with the color of his eyes which were as black as night.

The King looked to the north and pointed in that direction.

"Go and bring them to me, I need to feed on their memories, to better infiltrate the world of hunters, I will not be arrogant like my progenitor in underestimating humans"

The 14 warriors bowed in a respectful bow before pointing to where Rouke and the others had fled.

The king began to think about his future course of action. First, he would absorb the memories of the hunters in this dungeon to better understand their world, and then he would infiltrate it to see the veracity of the memories he had just obtained.

By devouring the hunters he would gain intelligence about the world of hunters and also satisfy his hunger and desire to devour, it seemed that his progeny was not enough to satisfy him.

The ant king decided that he would make the world of hunters his kingdom, then when he was strong enough he would go to the dimension of the spider people, he felt a strong calling, instinctively he felt where it was.

However, the king would no longer go to that place unprepared, that was why he did not connect with the collective knowledge, he had acquired this and several other skills by devouring the spider queen.

The King decided to walk towards Alex and his knight, he would start by devouring this human while his warriors brought the rest of those who had fled.
