Ved decided to leave and settle the situation of the rabbits and hippos first, plus he had one more thing he wanted to take care of but that was for later.

Just as he was about to leave, the tower spirit stopped him. " Master, please follow me, the beast king left something for you."

Ved followed her into what appeared to be a treasure volt, this giant volt was filled with essence stones, artefacts and elixirs of all grades and ranks.

At the centre of the volt was a tiny bottle with a thick golden liquid. She took it and gave it to him.

" This is the heart blood of the heavens. A divine treasure that can upgrade one's bloodline. The beast king left this for his successor to help them reach the peak he couldn't in order to deal with what's to come."

Ved was about to celebrate but her last sentence sounded way too ominous. ' What do you mean what's to come, what is exactly is going to happen?'

She bowed, " I apologize but the beast king did not tell me that, I'm sorry I cannot answer your question master." She sounded apologetic.

Ved sighed ' It's fine.' He decided to deal with whatever was coming when it comes. Then he opened the bottle and drank the entire golden liquid inside it.

( Host has consumed a divine treasure of origin, the heart blood of the heavens. Host's bloodline is upgrading. A divine spark blooms) he hadn't heard the system's voice in a while, it was good to hear it again.

The heart blood of the heavens reached his stomach, he felt a wave of heat course through his body, steam came out of his ears and mouth. His golden eyes turned red and his blood boiled.

A wave of pain hit him but he got excited instead. Firstly, because this pain was nothing compared to what he experienced during the trial.

Secondly he could actually feel his bloodline upgrading but that was not the only thing. Deep inside his soul, a tiny golden spark that flickered like a dying candle flame bloomed.

The appearance of this spark ignited his will, he felt his will grow, it felt more and stronger. He couldn't explain the feeling but it was amazing.

The world became clearer and his soul sense grew much wider. The process lasted only a few hours and when it was done, the pain disappeared like smoke.

What followed was a cool and refreshing feeling like an ocean breeze in a hot summer day.

Other than his bloodline upgrading from low to peak heaven grade and his lifespan increasing by 497 years, nothing else had changed.

Infact it had been close to 4 years since he became rank 4 but his evolution points had not increased even by a single point.

He sighed, he understood that he had been busy but it still didn't feel good, before he left he refilled the essence stones on every formation then teleported out of the tower and stood at the edge of the mountain.

Infront of his was a sea of white fluffy clouds that stretched to the horizon. Ved didn't even remember which layer this was, probably 5th or 6th.

He was just about to dive down when he stopped, ' I should probably send out my avatars first'

Ved had thought about it, he wanted to explore the world and increase his evolution points in the process but he didn't want to risk his life.

He had a feeling if he went out, he would have to deal with Vermilion again. Even with his recent powerup he still didn't think he would be a match for that guy.

Ved closed his eyes, three giant red hearts appeared around him. He felt his power drop to a mere quarter of itself.

Flesh and blood grew around the hearts creating three avatars of equal strength to him.

Then with a thought, the avatars teleported to the edge of the minor world. Nobody noticed them leave, he wanted to keep it a secret that he had three avatars.

The others already knew of one and he wanted to keep it that way. The avatars left the minor world unnoticed.

Then Ved teleported to the base of the mountain. Nimue wasn't there so he took to the skies and flew to where her house was.

He saw all four of them sitting around a table eating a variety of fruits that had a thick smell of essence.

Ursela jumped excitedly when she saw him. Before he could react she was already infront of him.

Even now he still couldn't even follow her movements. " How was it? did you pass? Was it hard?" She sent a barrage of questions at him, not even giving him a chance to answer.

" Calm down Ursela,let the child breath." Nimue was still calling him a child, Ved didn't even bother arguing with her, he knew it was useless.

She gave him a gentle smile, " You must be starving, come sit and I'll make you something to eat. Then you can tell us about your experience."

Ved felt like a preschooler having to tell his parents about his first day at school. One thing she was right about though is that he was starving.

As a rank 4 he could go for years without food but that didn't mean he didn't get hungry. It was just that hunger wasn't life threatening for him as it was not mortals.

But it did make him uncomfortable, thus reducing his functionality by a little. Ved lay down on his stomach like a cat infront of the table but he didn't eat nor did he say anything.

It would be rude to refuse but the fruits infront of him were not appetizing at all, it was no different from looking at tree barks to him.

He sighed, atleast as a rank 3 he was able to eat spirit fruits but now it seemed he couldn't even eat those.

Novak's boisterous laugh filled the air. " Silly woman, can't you see this child needs meat to grow strong like a man." Nimue didn't argue with him.

She just gave him a soft smile. " Then go get the child something to eat." He stood up and gave Ved a thumps up. " Don't worry boy, this old man will make sure to catch something delicious for you."

His body flickered and disappeared.
