Urban Dominating Immortal Doctor

Chapter 51: Trying to Fool People Right

"Muna?" Ling Xiaoyu raises her eyebrow.

"Yeah, young lady, this is a mine that easily produces high-quality jadeite." The middle-aged stall owner patiently explains, thinking Ling Xiaoyu knows nothing.

Ling Xiaoyu extends her fair fingers to touch a raw stone with a white salt sand skin nearby.

"Hmph, the sand texture is so poor, and the grains are coarse. It's clearly jade from Situoka Mine but dares to pose as Muna."

Ling Xiaoyu snorts coldly, a trace of disdain appearing on her cool little face.

The Muna Mine is one of Myanmar's famous old mines, known for producing jadeite with uniform color, mainly featuring a white salt sand skin.

In terms of type, the Muna Mine has everything from the common bean type to the rare glass type; in terms of color, it includes Imperial Green, Yang Green, and Seedling Green with good transparency.

The Muna Mine once gained a significant reputation for consistently producing full-color glass types. Today, jadeite raw stones from Muna are still sought after, leading some stone gambling merchants to pass off jadeite from other mines as from Muna.

The Situoka Mine, adjacent to the Muna Mine, is also an old mine, known for its bean-type jadeite, with skins ranging from white to yellow to purple-red salt sand, where the white salt sand resembles Muna's.

"Trying to deceive, huh, boss?" Ling Xiaoyu says coldly.

"Uh..."

Being immediately exposed by Ling Xiaoyu, the middle-aged owner's face shows a hint of awkwardness, giving a dry laugh.

"Hehe, didn't expect the lady to be an expert."

The middle-aged owner laughs awkwardly, assuming the two pretty young ladies are wealthy heiresses buying stones for fun, not expecting such sharp judgment.

"Anyone gambling stones without knowing mines would surely be cheated by you." Ling Xiaoyu says unceremoniously.

With other customers at the stall watching, the middle-aged owner looks slightly embarrassed, and sits back in his seat, no longer daring to speak.

"This cool little girl actually has some skill." Qin Yang's gaze falls on Ling Xiaoyu, thinking to himself.

Although Qin Yang has imprinted a copy of the "Gambling Stone Encyclopedia" in his mind, he has virtually zero practical experience and cannot tell which mine a stone comes from.

Ling Xiaoyu looks up, meeting Qin Yang's gaze, and her pretty face returns to its cool expression: "Hey, Qin Yang, do you have the guts to gamble against me?"

"Gamble on what?" Qin Yang is slightly taken aback.

"We each pick a stone to see whose yields better and whose gains more."

"Alright, but if you lose?" Qin Yang nods, intrigued.

"If I lose...well, I haven't thought about that yet, but it's not arrogance—there's no way I'd lose to you. Just so you know, if I win, you have to loudly say a hundred times here: 'The person I admire most is Ling Xiaoyu!'"

At the end, Ling Xiaoyu feels proud of her idea and really wants to see the spectacle of Qin Yang shouting and being watched by a crowd, thinking it would be quite amusing.

"Uh, okay, that is indeed quite creative."

Qin Yang never imagined Ling Xiaoyu would propose such a request.

"Well then, if I lose, I'll do as you say, but if I win..."

Qin Yang pauses, glancing at Ling Xiaoyu, his gaze finalizing on her chest.

"Hey hey, keep your dirty thoughts to yourself; I'm not someone you can take advantage of..."

Seeing Qin Yang's scrutinizing eyes on her, Ling Xiaoyu instantly rebels.

"Cough, you misunderstood; I meant the necklace on your neck is quite nice. If I win, could you lend it to me for two days, just to admire?"

Qin Yang coughs awkwardly, somewhat helplessly. The necklace around Ling Xiaoyu's neck glows with green transparency, sparkling with Bing Ying clarity—could it also be a high iced type?

"This guy, he looks decent, but turns out to be a big wolf, liking a girl's necklace?"

Ling Xiaoyu mutters, internally marking Qin Yang as such.

Qin Yang's lips show a bitter smile. He first borrowed Ruan Xinxue's bracelet, misunderstood by Sister Ruan, and now labeled a "big wolf" by this cool girl—no choice, for cultivation, he'd sacrifice face.

"Xiaoyu..." Ruan Xinxue gently pulls the simmering Ling Xiaoyu.

"Sister Xinxue, I'm fighting for my honor this round. If I lose, it's on me; if I win, the resolved material belongs to the company." Ling Xiaoyu says gallantly.

"That's not what I meant..." Ruan Xinxue laughs, though she doesn't believe Ling Xiaoyu will lose, yet Qin Yang always seems unpredictable.

But before Ruan Xinxue finishes speaking, Ling Xiaoyu addresses Qin Yang: "As you said, this girl takes the bet."

With that, Ling Xiaoyu starts selecting raw stones at the stall.

In terms of stone gambling experience, Qin Yang has nearly none, certainly not comparable to Ling Xiaoyu who grew up among stone gambles, but it's easy for Qin Yang to identify which raw stone contains jadeite and its quality.

"Celestial Eye Opening."

Qin Yang murmurs internally, activating Mana, a subtle green aura swelling in his pupils, scanning the gambling stones at the stall.

Seemingly 3D images appear in Qin Yang's mind.

After a minute, Qin Yang retracts the Celestial Eye, somewhat surprised by his expression.

This stall roughly has three to four hundred jadeite raw stones, but only dozens have formed jade inside, most are filled with gray fog, not a hint of jade, and those with jade mostly have coarse bean type, dry green type.

Yet, not all are like this, among three to four hundred stones, there are two to three that could yield considerable gains—so few you could count them on a hand.

"At this rate, betting on a gain is tough; no wonder the stone gambling world says 'enter with caution, watch more and resolve less.'"

Qin Yang shakes his head with a light laugh, heading to a raw stone with yellow sand skin, one of the few capable of yielding large gains.

Over there, Ling Xiaoyu's movements aren't slow either, seemingly eyeing a full-guess raw stone.

"How much for this stone?"

Ling Xiaoyu pats a raw stone with white sand skin beside her, asking the middle-aged owner.

"This stone isn't small in size, the skin is good, with a high chance of yielding gains. If others buy it, I'd say eighteen thousand, but for you, fifteen thousand."

The middle-aged owner, keen-eyed, smiles generously.
