Urban Dominating Immortal Doctor

Chapter 470: So It Turns Out It's You the Restless Fool

"Hua Zhouquan, tell me, what the hell is going on?!"

Ji Ankang quickly turned his head, eyes flaring with anger, glaring at Hua Zhouquan behind him. At that moment, he felt an impulse to smack this fool.

When this kid first joined the hospital, it was because an acquaintance pulled some strings with Ji Ankang. Letting him into the hospital then is now coming back to bite him.

"I, I..."

Hua Zhouquan's face turned pale. He wasn't stupid; he could tell Qin Yang's status was extraordinary. Nevertheless, he gritted his teeth and said, "Dean, he, he really kicked me, just kicked me into the air."

"Nonsense. Would Young Master Qin kick you for no reason?! What really happened, speak!"

Ji Ankang angrily looked at Hua Zhouquan, thinking this fool must be really stupid. Now would be the time to quickly admit your mistake, and maybe because of that acquaintance, I could vouch for you, but now you're dragging me into this mess.

"Dean, I, I thought there were too many people in the ward, not conducive to the patient's rest, so I tried to ask, ask him to leave. Who knew he would kick me..."

Seeing Ji Ankang's stern expression, Hua Zhouquan's face changed. His voice softened but still defended himself.

"Hua Zhouquan, this isn't an ICU ward. Since when does visiting a patient in a regular ward require limiting the number of visitors? Unless the patient expressly requests it, what right do you have to ask Young Master Qin to leave?!"

Ji Ankang scolded him immediately. He hadn't been the dean for so many years for nothing and was quite astute. After glancing at Ning Xin next to Qin Yang and then at Hua Zhouquan, he could pretty much guess what was going on. This kid was eyeing Young Master Qin's girlfriend—what nerve.

"I..."

Hua Zhouquan's face went pale, unable to argue with Ji Ankang.

"Go write me ten reflections, you're suspended for a month."

Ji Ankang barked, though he wanted to be harsher and fire this kid immediately, but that would step on that acquaintance's toes.

"Dean Ji, let me ask you, does your hospital have a Director Liang?"

Qin Yang frowned and asked.

"Yes, Director Liang is the head of the oncology department."

Hearing Qin Yang's question, Ji Ankang quickly turned around, a broad smile already plastered on his face.

"Young Master Qin, if you want to see him, I'll have someone call Director Liang over right away."

Ji Ankang said.

"Get him over here, I have something to ask him."

Qin Yang nodded slightly.

"You two, hurry and bring Director Liang over."

Ji Ankang immediately pointed at two security guards and said.

Upon hearing Ji Ankang's order to call Director Liang, Hua Zhouquan's face immediately turned pale. If Director Liang came over, wouldn't it be revealed that he hadn't even reported Father Ning's surgery schedule?

"Dean, let me go get Director Liang."

Hua Zhouquan hurriedly said, about to run over.

"Stop right there!"

Ji Ankang frowned and shouted sternly, wondering why so many people were needed to fetch Director Liang. This kid wasn't trying to slip away, was he?

Hearing Ji Ankang's reprimand, Hua Zhouquan had no choice but to reluctantly stop in his tracks.

"That's great, Old Ning, Director Liang is coming. Your illness can be treated now."

Mother Ning said joyfully from the side.

"Our son-in-law is indeed capable."

Father Ning nodded, a hint of a smile appearing on his face.

Upon hearing Mother Ning refer to Qin Yang as "son-in-law," Ning Xin's face flushed crimson. She raised her beautiful eyes, sneaking a glance at Qin Yang, her curiosity about him growing. He had given her so many surprises.

A little over a minute later, a middle-aged doctor in a white coat approached quickly under the guidance of two security guards.

"Dean, you called for me."

The middle-aged doctor in the white coat asked Ji Ankang, puzzled, wondering if there was an important patient here needing treatment.

"Young Master Qin, this is Director Liang of the oncology department. You can ask him any questions you have."

Ji Ankang turned around, smiling broadly at Qin Yang.

"Director Liang, how are your surgeries scheduled recently? Are they lined up until over half a month later?"

Qin Yang stared at Director Liang and asked. From his demeanor and the steady vibe he exuded, Director Liang seemed to inspire some confidence in patients. Qin Yang believed he had some skills.

"No, I have a benign tumor removal surgery scheduled for tomorrow morning and the morning after. The third day's surgery hasn't been arranged yet?"

Director Liang shook his head, answering truthfully despite not knowing the origin of this young man.

"Young Master Qin, Director Liang specializes in performing visceral benign tumor removal surgeries. Benign tumors are generally best discovered early and removed early, as the surgical risk is relatively low. We tend to arrange surgeries as soon as possible; it's unlikely to be scheduled for more than half a month later, unless the patient is psychologically unprepared and requests a delay."

Ji Ankang, concerned that Qin Yang might not understand the situation, immediately explained.

After hearing Director Liang and Ji Ankang's words, Father Ning, Mother Ning, and Ning Xin all looked at Hua Zhouquan angrily.

"I wonder who said my surgery was scheduled for over half a month later?"

Director Liang asked, confused.

"Director Liang, it was Dr. Hua who said your surgeries were lined up until over half a month later."

Ning Xin said angrily. She knew Hua Zhouquan was trying to court her, but she hadn't expected him to delay her father's treatment.

"You're the family of patient number fifty-six, right? Is this your father? Does he need me to perform a tumor surgery?"

Director Liang turned his gaze to Father Ning in the hospital bed, puzzled.

As the chief surgeon, he couldn't be involved in everything. After a dedicated doctor diagnosed a patient with a tumor, they would report it to him, and he would schedule surgeries based on the patient's specific situation. The patient in this bed hadn't been reported for a tumor surgery.

"Yes, Director Liang."

Ning Xin nodded, glaring angrily at Hua Zhouquan.

"This matter, I wasn't aware of. No one reported that patient number fifty-six required a tumor removal surgery."

Director Liang shook his head, then gradually turned his gaze, slightly stern, toward Hua Zhouquan.

Not only Director Liang but also Ji Ankang and Lu Cheng turned their gazes to Hua Zhouquan. Things were clearer now; nobody not seeing it would be a fool.

Seeing several cold and stern gazes directed at him, Hua Zhouquan's face turned pale as chalk.

"Hua Zhouquan, saving lives is a doctor's duty, a sacred, honorable, and great mission. Patients come to the hospital not for you to delay their condition or abuse your authority. Get the hell out of here, you're fired!"

Ji Ankang raged immediately, hollering about medical disturbances. Turns out, it was this fool making trouble.
