Chapter 130: Poison Spirit Talisman

Whoosh! Boom!

The green Wind Blade and the fiery-red Fireball converged from left and right, heading toward White Crane.

White Crane lightly tapped the ground with his toes, moving as lithely as a swallow, dodging the Wind Blade, but the fiery-red Fireball was coming right at him.

"Get away from me, old man!"

White Crane gathered Inner Power in his palms and struck the Fireball.

Boom!

The fiery-red Fireball dispersed, but the scorching heat still singed a few strands of White Crane's hair.

"Crane Force Finger!"

White Crane's gaze was as sharp as an electric flash, flicking his fingertips to shoot out several fierce Finger Forces.

"Wind Manipulation Technique!"

Qin Yang's eyes narrowed, forming a spell seal with his hands, casting a Wind Manipulation Technique on himself, his speed suddenly increased, dodging the fierce Finger Forces.

"Kid, bring me your life, Crane Feathers a Thousand Flying!"

White Crane shouted fiercely, tossing both hands, dozens of white Crane Feather hidden weapons swept toward Qin Yang like an overwhelming storm.

"Ice Talisman, Freeze!"

Qin Yang's expression changed, throwing out two icy-white Ice Talismans.

Boom!

Chilling air spread, frost clung to the Crane Feather hidden weapons, causing them to pause in the air and fall to the ground.

"White Jade Flying Saber, go!"

Qin Yang unleashed the White Jade Flying Saber, its blade gleaming in the air, aimed straight at White Crane's forehead.

White Crane operated his Inner Power to its maximum, his Body Technique performed to the utmost, moving swiftly to evade the Flying Saber's attacks multiple times.

Whoosh!

Under Qin Yang's control, the speed of the Flying Saber suddenly quickened, curving in the air, aiming straight for White Crane's throat.

"The speed of the Flying Saber increased!"

White Crane's face changed dramatically, in a critical moment, he couldn't afford any distraction and dodged to the side.

"Giant Strength Technique."

Qin Yang's figure flashed, locking in on White Crane's evasive position, delivering a blow containing a thousand pounds of strength to White Crane's chest.

Bang!

White Crane's body flew backward and crashed heavily against a marble pillar in the venue, cracks spreading over the marble.

"Puh!"

White Crane spat out a mouthful of blood, tumbling down.

"You little bastard, I will tear you limb from limb today!"

White Crane angrily wiped the blood from the corners of his mouth.

Luckily, he had Inner Power protecting him, but even so, this punch was a heavy hit. Ever since he became an Elder of the Hundred Beasts Valley, White Crane had never suffered such a grievous wound.

"You probably won't get the chance."

Qin Yang chuckled softly, looking teasingly at White Crane's chest.

White Crane frowned, following Qin Yang's gaze, he saw an icy-white Talisman attached to the white robe on his chest.

On the Talisman, icy-white light flickered, releasing wisps of chill.

Seeing the Talisman, White Crane's face changed dramatically, reaching to rip it away.

"Too late."

Qin Yang smirked coldly.

"Ice Seal Talisman, Seal!"

Qin Yang changed the spell seal in his hand and shouted.

Crack, crack!

As Qin Yang's words fell, the icy-white Talisman transformed into light points, a layer of hard ice spreading at lightning speed toward White Crane's entire body.

"Get... get... away..."

White Crane's body stiffened slightly, his face turning icy white, desperately gathering his Inner Power to fight the encroaching ice.

However, this effort proved futile; the power of the Level Three Ice Seal Talisman was several times stronger than that of the Ice Talisman. Even if White Crane managed to break free, it would drain his Inner Power completely, taking a significant amount of time.

"So tell me, would you rather be my lackey, or should I waste another Talisman and cremate you directly?"

Qin Yang held a fiery-red Flame Talisman between his fingers, smiling.

"Old... man... I, I..."

White Crane, chilled to the bone, knew this kid wasn't bluffing; he would do as he threatened.

Ancient martial artists typically had longer lifespans than ordinary people, easily living past a hundred years isn't a problem. White Crane was only sixty, in the prime of life among ancient martial artists. He had no desire to die; in fact, he valued his life more than an average person.

"For now, I'll go along with it. When this kid lets his guard down, I'll take his life."

White Crane thought rapidly, this idea flashing through his mind.

"Well... since you've captured me... I'll follow your orders..."

White Crane said begrudgingly.

"Oh? Agreeing so readily."

Qin Yang remarked, watching White Crane with an amused expression.

"Uh..."

White Crane's complexion stiffened, internally sighing, thinking he should have resisted a bit more to prevent this kid from seeing through his real intentions.

"Hehe, but I like straightforward people. Since you've agreed to follow my orders, let me present you with a gift first."

Qin Yang said with a cheerful smile, fully aware that this old fellow's quick agreement hinted at ulterior motives, so naturally, he wouldn't trust him easily.

"What... gift..."

White Crane asked, teeth chattering. He realized that this kid was probably up to something bad again.

Qin Yang drew a black Talisman from his clothing, appearing between his fingers. The Talisman bore the image of a menacing snake head.

"Wha... what is this?"

A sense of foreboding filled White Crane's heart.

"This is called the Poison Spirit Talisman."

Qin Yang smiled, holding White Crane's jaw open and flicking the Poison Spirit Talisman.

The black Talisman dissolved into points of light, a small black snake appeared and darted straight into White Crane's mouth.

"I swallowed... that little snake."

White Crane watched helplessly as the black snake entered his mouth, his heart filled with grief. This kid's tactics were sinister, not a good-natured person. That mysterious black snake surely contained deadly poison.

"What did you just make me swallow?"

White Crane stared at Qin Yang, his eyes showing fear for the unknown.

"The Poison Spirit Talisman is meant to control disobedient servants. As long as you play nice, nothing will happen, but if you disobey, you'll suffer excruciating pain for seven days and nights before dying with your guts rotting away."

Qin Yang explained with a smile.

"Indeed, this kid has ill intentions."

White Crane fumed internally, yet he knew full well the reality: in this survival of the fittest world, Qin Yang's methods were superior.

"I admit defeat. From now on, I'll listen to you."

White Crane seemed to abandon his resistance, resignedly lowering his head.

Though as he bowed his head, a flicker of defiance and coldness lingered deep within his eyes; he possessed several Violent Dragon Pills and Antitoxic Pills, which might counter this kid's Talismans.

At the very least, he could seek help from the Valley Master or Supreme Elder of Hundred Beasts Valley and remove the Talisman's poison. Then he'd find a way to make Qin Yang suffer!

"Let me give you a taste of the Poison Spirit Talisman first, lest you forget its effects."

Qin Yang laughed softly, performing a spell seal with his fingers.

White Crane's face turned starkly pale, instantly experiencing the sensation of a small snake darting through his organs, gnawing on his flesh. The poison caused his blood to feel somewhat coagulated.

White Crane writhed on the ground, the ice covering him starting to crumble.

"Ah..."

White Crane's clenched jaws emitted a low growl, cold sweat streaming down his forehead, the agony making life feel worse than death. This kid seemed like a devil.

"How does that taste, enjoyable?" Qin Yang asked, smiling.

"M-mercy!"

White Crane pleaded desperately; he'd never endured such intense pain and couldn't afford not to beg for mercy if he wanted to survive.
