The enormous abyssal fetus, almost two meters tall, was crawling closer.
The scattered trees fell every time the fetus laughed. The earth, grass, stones, and other elements along the path that the abyssal fetus had traveled and around it had taken on a red hue, and the smell of blood spread through the wind.
The abyssal fetus flapped its grotesque, deformed wings, which had few feathers, and flew, revealing a string of flesh that stretched down to the ground.
Professor Ilcia and Professor Behet created demonic barriers to protect the students, some of whom had fainted upon hearing the abyssal fetus's laughter.
"We're going to die," was almost the same thought that Professor Ilcia and Professor Behet had.
Professor Dervec cut the palm of his right hand as he walked toward the abyssal fetus, and with his blood he created a demonic diagram in the air of summoning demonic spirits.
The diagram created by Professor Dervec emitted a dark and ominous spiritual energy.
Everyone present could hear a buzzing in their ears. It was unpleasant, but they were reassured knowing that it was something created by Professor Dervec.
The diagram exploded, and the blood that formed it transformed into swarms of flies, which grotesquely gathered together until they merged. after which a two-meter-tall demonic spirit appeared, bluish-black in color, with almost translucent green wings and enormous red eyes. It had an abdomen that moved in different parts in an unpleasant way, and the spirit's body had several legs with three sharp toes.
The summoned spirit was an ancestor of some demons, called "The Heir of the Flies."
The demonic spirit walked towards Dervec and ripped out one of his kidneys and two of his four eyes. Then the demonic spirit made incomprehensible sounds with its elongated mouth, after which the eyes and kidney turned into thousands of worms that crawled across the floor until they became purple flies that emitted a dark energy as they flew.
The abyssal fetus laughed when it saw the thousands of flies approaching, then screamed as if throwing a tantrum.
All the thousands of flies exploded, but it was not in vain. The power of the abyssal fetus fluctuated, which meant that its summoning had become unstable due to using great power to defend itself, thus reducing the time it could remain in the world that summoned it.
"The Heir of the Flies" looked at Professor Dervec, shook his head, and then disappeared, turning into thousands of worms that burrowed into the ground.
"Do you need... help?" Ilcia asked nervously.
"The Skeletal collector is the best option right now, but the price will be high, and that's only if he agrees to be summoned," thought Dervec, then replied in a firm voice:
"Just protect the students."
Professor Ilcia and Professor Behet nodded after hearing Dervec's words.
••••
Blood dripped.
Selef heard footsteps. He knew that the system had not activated the capital trait because the enemy had not carried out a fatal attack.
"I am still weak, I couldn't even sense this attack," thought Selef as he watched a white hand take the sinister sword that Raden had left behind when he was killed.
"Who are you? You are a demon strong and skilled enough to have defeated Raden," said a wizard wearing a white wizard's robe with green and gold trim in a relaxed tone of voice.
The wizard who had appeared was Hann Jegenz, the Crackling of nature.
Ham looked at Selef with his green eyes. There was curiosity in the handsome Hann's expression.
Selef saw the golden-haired human talking to him.
"Another guy who looks like a protagonist, but with the entrance of a villain," Selef joked in his mind, and then said to Hann:
"I knew someone strong was going to show up, they're so obvious."
"It's surprising that you're not scared. Your lineage must be an important one in the demon world. We could create a wonderful weapon with you, just as we will with your fiancée. Demons of lineage always become the raw material for excellent demonic weapons. Although..." Hann pointed out as he stored Raden's sinister sword.
"Someday, all of you will die under the power of demons. You should never have crossed the great mountain range," Selef said, feigning anger and frustration in a premeditated attempt to provoke him and obtain information.
Hann smiled, not even seeming annoyed.
"I don't think that's possible. Throughout history, you have lost again and again over the last few centuries. It is your destiny to disappear sooner or later. Hmm, you sound as defiant as those believers in a Demon God, but you don't seem very strong. You know, I killed many of them. Today, there was no demon who did not tremble and fear me when they saw me.
Hann walked around Selef as thorns began to sprout from his roots, causing Selef pain, but it was nothing Selef hadn't felt before.
"You are brave. The thorns from my roots cause terrifying pain." But it's useless to be brave if you're weak," said Hann.
"We'll say the same thing when we expel all humans from the territories they have taken from us," smiled Selef, acting with hatred in his eyes.
Hann looked in the distance toward a hill. "They told me to bring the demon woman back alive; no one mentioned this demon," Hann concluded in his mind, and then a morbid and mischievous expression appeared on his face.
"Let's see how long you can hold out," Hann said maliciously.
From the thorny roots that impaled Selef's body, small thorny roots emerged, which made their way inside Selef's body, who began to cough and vomit blood.
"You're fascinating. You still maintain your defiant gaze. Not even a cry of pain. But let's see how long you can resist while nature grows inside your body. You're not the first to have a start worthy of your lineage, but in the end, most of those who fell into my hands... ha ha ha ha," said Hann, who was enjoying himself.
Selef's skin and part of his uniform broke apart, and branches appeared on which leaves, flowers, and fruits grew.
