Universe 2, Earth 001
It was a very sunny morning, dew covered the gardens awakening the sleeping flower petals into the light of the sun. A cold breeze from the lake came into the village. All the houses where traditionally made, built with little to no concrete. The bushes on the roof was the only thing that stood between them and the shining sun, it was like a paradise. But within it all was a large building, white, oval, beautifully constructed; the roof made of fine concrete. Cleary they had drained resources to construct it. On its front was a large bell, and on its front a statue of Aman, wearing catholic-like clothes and carrying high a religious cross symbol that radiated the use of the building. It stood on a tall hill that layed very near the river. They understood the lake was a blessing from the gods; with the water they irrigated their crops, farmed fish and even drawled water for drinking.
In the village little screams could be heard, very not terrified screams but of joy, children playing with their guardians. But they where not the typical children you would see at a playground; they had horns in their heads, their hair of different colors and so were their eyes. Their faces horned cracks, it was normal and everyone had them.
A line created the magnificent creatures headed for the tall building; their attire said it all, they were going to pray.
"Don't get your clothes dirty!" a parent warned her boy as he staggered on the dirt. He worn a red robe, one that many had; it seemed to have been a chapel theme. On his neck layed a necklace with a cross symbol, the same that the statue held.
The boy only replied with smiles, anticipation to go to the chapel — a behaviour most children lack.
"You're gonna make me late!" another muttered.
With some kids crying here and there, their parents pushed them to the chapel.
Suddenly
A loud whistle sound echoed, with it brought an earthquake, the object arieting from the skies, the product an earthquake that shock the ground to its core.
Ring
Ring
Ring
The church bell rang off. Tensions at its peak, they freaked out; things went south quick. Women carrying their children, others hugging them frozen. All their reactions proved one thing: this was a rare occasion, nothing like they had seen before.
The whistling sound came in louder from the skies.
All eyes turned into the heavens and there it was, a large stone carrying flames; every mile it passed spelling certain doom.
The more it got near, the more they knew they couldn't escape the fate that awaited them — death.
A shadow crowded the whole village, heat and pressure in the mix.
The woman held her child in her arms, squeezing him gently, with no intention of letting him go.
"Close your eyes, darlings!"
He closed his eyes, linkles forming, showing witness of an obedient child he was.
"Save us Evidod!"
He repeated, praying, holding the cross in his hands. So did the other beings, praying to their god.
No change came; the large rock was still descending, aiming for their destruction.
They repeated the words
"Save us Evidod!"
Over and over again, even if nothing changed, but they still stood strong.
Then
Another sound came, different from the first; this one more concentrated. With it came a focused ray of light moving in a straight line and with power. Inside it someone but unseeable.
Boom
A clashing sound followed, disassembling it into pieces; black dust scattered, ash as well, the forces of the clash moving their hair and so the lake. But something curious still happened: no piece landed on the village, revealing the masterpiece of the skills of whoever did it.
Within the rubles a woman stood midair, wearing a cape behind her clothes like the statue from the chapel. She carried an oversized sword on her back, her eyes greenish, hair scattered and red, red mana swarming behind her. A horn on each of her shoulder as a smirk stood on her face proud.
...
The village was safe, everything slowly returning, but the shock of what had transpired still filled the villagers. Another wave of horned people arrived, clothes the same as the woman; they seemed to come from the same side. On the streets they flooded all over chatting with the families trying to help them forget. In their hands they gave souvenirs, gifts to help them through the trauma they had just passed through.
Along the road was the woman with the cape, their savior walking slowly overseeing how the processes went.
"Bite hard on this!" a woman gave her son a piece of cloth in his mouth as she binded a round of cloth on his leg.
"Mhmh mhmh!!" he muttered in pain, tears filling his eyes.
On the other side of the street another child cried hard; she wasn't injured anywhere, but the trauma itself caused the crying.
"Mom, look, it's her. She is so cool!" the boy that earlier held the cross shouted. He didn't seem affected by the events that happened recently; his character was a fresh breeze to the negative attitude that filled the village.
"Hi little man!" she said, kneeling down to get a closer look at him. His eyes glittered with joy. Cleary this boy was obsessed with her.
"Sorry, he tends to lose his manners!" his mother apologized.
"Nothing to worry about!" she excused.
A man approached her, his hair clean apparent, another stroke of hair covering a piece of his face, the attire the same but more advanced.
"Commander!" he inquired, hogging over the attention, his eyes unstable, as a sign of the private conversation he wanted to say.
"Lieutenant!" she replied. She stayed silent; she didn't know what to say not to hurt her feelings and
The woman saw it too.
"You can go!" she set her free from a difficult situation.
"Be brave little man!" she went off.
"How's the search going?"
"After simulating the trajectories of the meteroid, we have mapped that it came from north east!" the man said, his words showing profession.
"So we head on there!" she replied determined.
"We should but there is a problem!" he replied.
"What!"
"One of the members of the brotherhood of knights was seen to the same direction not far from here."
"That's the more reason we need to go!" She floated in air, effortless, hung hanging cooly.
"Take Lizzy with you!" She flew away, leaving a puff of dust behind as all their eyes followed him.
.....
A tent was created, strong tree holdings, perfect architecture; whoever made it was a pro in outdoor living. The area was surrounded by a man-made opening, the dress scattered to create room to breathe.
A puff of smoke floated into the air, with it an aroma that made appetites skyrocket. They roasted a bunny they found in the forest. Near the fire sat three humans of different genders, laying their backs on a number of rocks that surrounded their base.
"They are coming," a man exited the tent, putting on a jacket. He seemed tired, like he had just finished doing something of heavy duty; his appearance seemed clean, like he was from a noble upbringing. With the way he moved, Cleary he was prepared for any confrontation.
The others stood up, stretching their bodies but they carried no weapons in hand. Not long after that a whistling sound came, concentrated, coming like a star falling from the heavens. It got more and more near; so did the object.
Vroom
She landed creating a surfaced hole on the landing, dust and air around her moving away in a circular form, pushing their belongings away, turning off the fire.
All their eyes concentrated on her.
"What do we owe this honor!" the man said calmly and gently, his voice royal like.
"Stop pretending Fernando!" she said, walking towards him.
"What ever do you mean by that!" he answered.
"A massive rock fell from the sky into one of our villages. We can't call that natural, can we!"
"Oooh, that's unfortunate!" he added, his voice Cleary pretending to be sad.
"I assure you, we will help you in anyway we can!" he said.
They stayed in contact looking at each other, tension at its peak. In the Commander's eyes she saw a disgusting human, pretending to not have a hand in the occasion.
"You can help me by spreading the word. I will personally kill then cut to pieces whoever tries to hurt the villagers again!" she warned; determined eyes said it all, she was serious about every word she spoke.
Fernando forcefully smiled, his eyes narrowed by the increase of wrinkles on his face.
"Don't worry, leave it all to me!" he replied, speaking like a representative at a customer care center.
Boom
Furniture scattered; she blasted off more violently this time, leaving a trail of anger behind.
In midair she was welcomed by Lizzy and the lieutenant standing far but somehow able to listen to their fruitless conversation.
Their faces covered with curiosity, itching to say a word.
"Don't say anything!" she shugged them off as she passed them going back to the earlier attacked village. Their eyes turned to the humans then followed their commander, speed at its best trying to catch up with her.
On the opening the humans saw them fly away.
"Should we be worried about her!" a man suggested.
"Don't be, she can't do anything!"
"Send a message to the King. Tell him the plan is moving on smoothly!"
One man crossed his hands, making a player sign. Light shone around him, three circles rose, circulating his body consecutively, scanning him.
Then
Warp!!
He vanished.
"Soon we will get rid of everyone of those atrocities of nature!"
.....
The lieutenant and Lizzy caught up with the commander. Her face said it all; she was troubled to her core.
"Don't let it bother you a lot!" Lizzy said, trying to weigh her off.
"I know it shouldn't but it's just that the others can't take care of themselves!"
Silence filled the journey until the lieutenant interjected.
"I have been working on a safe way to make them stronger; it's not finished but it has passed all the tests I've recently made."
The Commander's head turned, looking at him with admiration; she just heard something mind lifting.
"What's that?"
She inquired.
"I call it, a system!!"
