Four figures could be seen withing the seekers warehouse scavenging all they could, stuffing all valuables that met their eyes into their spatial rings.
"Heavens, to think these guys had such a heavenly item the pyro purgatory nectar… such rarities can only be sourced from a heart of a ten thousand year volcano that is about to erupt." Bao'er exclaimed in shock.
Such a divine item would be very useful to her cultivation this was a stroke of fortune for her, the type that could only be found and not sought.
And in rapid successions, the other four came across various rarities, some compatible with them, some they couldn't even recognize.
Lei Yu couldn't help but sigh, "Brother Spark sure is wise, for him to cause havoc and for us to remain behind the scenes and plunder… this way even if we are defeated and we retreat, we would still benefit heavily."
Zhao Mu nodded in confirmation, "indeed it as you said, the treasures we've unearthed is enough to make a small nation go mad with envy, to think these heretics could be so rich!"
The four quickly raided the entire room clean, "now lets head to the next!" Lei Yu instructed while bringing out a map.
This map was an outline depicting the way round the ever intersecting tunnels of the Seekers base, they had previously gotten it from a guard, and Brother Spark took his time 'convincing' one of the scholars to highlight all locations of the Base warehouse and treasuries.
After confirming their next target they quickly scurried off, their eyes brimming with expectations, were they were headed to now was the herbal warehouse of the base if they were in luck they might find some earth shaking spirit fruits or if even luckier they might see some heaven made elixirs.
Thud! Thud!
Just then from the distance they caught sight of figures headed their way, no to be more accurate the figures were heading towards Sparks location and they realized these were most likely reinforcements.
"We can't let him face all these guys alone, we need to help also." Bao'er announced her willingness to fight.
They had seen the rampage Spark had gone on and they understood they he was strong but even strong exerts had their limits, and it was well know that martial artist weren't really efficient in crowd battles, such a thing was more of the essence weavers specialty.
So naturally they had to help!
The other three nodded, as their weapons burst into full motion ready to attack…
Boom!
Thundering explosion rang out, as a figure burst out of the tunnel walls, ramming through the coming reinforcements turning all the unsuspecting hybrids into mush, the poor guys didn't even knew how they died.
The four froze in their stance, as they saw the figure who rose from the pile of debris, It was brother Spark!
How had he reached here so fast?
And more importantly who was he facing that was so strong enough to send him flying?
Since when had the seekers gotten so strong?
Their expression turned dark, the reason why the mortal sects didn't spend too much effort on these blights called seekers was mainly because of how weak they were, and most of their heaven defying creations were stuck outside at the immortal lands, so naturally the sects didn't see them as much of a threat, but if somehow these guys got the strength to contend with cultivators that was a whole different story…
Spark stood up his appearance dusty and bloody, though not from his own blood, he glanced at the four and winked at them as though unbothered by his situation.
Then he leapt back into the huge gap in the wall of his own making.
"lets not waste anymore time, Brother Spark is already sacrificing himself to buy more time for us, lets be quick and remember his instructions 'leave no stone unturned, leave not even the slightest copper for them'"
Lu Ming reminded as he rushed back into motion, his destination clear to plunder this seeker base dry!
…
Spark landed as he popped his left joints back into place, then turned his gaze back to his foe.
The abominable construct of Lu Ming Stood unfettered in all his vile glory, bloodied marks across his body receding like a tide, he was like an unkillable wraith, no matter how much damage Spark dealt the atrocity of a creature, it just kept healing…
The his foe just seemed to have a scary level of balance in all aspects, be it strength, speed, regeneration just name it, the bastard had it covered.
Now he felt the grievance all his foes faced when battling him, a being with an overly versatile ability…it seemed he had met his match finally.
His eyes glinted as he thought of the unnatural force the scholar wielded, he still couldn't grasp what ability it held or what function his Will fulfilled.
Crackle
Unfortunately he could only proceed to banish his thoughts as his Opponent was already on the move. Spark exhaled letting out a mouthful of turbid air while clenching his fists, as all the debris and massive boulders which had formed as a result of the clash of the two monsters rattled.
They all rose as though in defiance of gravity, as an overbearing Will forced its intent on them restructuring their existence, they shed their forms of matter morphing into pure energy on the spot.
The earthy brown clouds of energy drifted in tone with the will, and like a torrential river they gushed into Spark's figure.
His presence took a shift, as it became lofty, overbearing, unmovable and most of all domineering, his being seemed to reflect the scenery of an immortal mountain seal standing a loft, towering over the lands and scaling the heavens.
As his figure moved, though slow it wasn't instead it was as though reality seemed to hold its breath in expectation, the unimpeded river of time seemed to slow its torrent just to get a pure glimpse of the his might.
Spark might have not have begun cultivating but he had long reached a level of comprehension of energy and force that most cultivators could only dream of.
Bang!
A clap resounded as Sparks punch plowed mercilessly into his opponent… but there it was again!
Sparks brows furrowed in annoyance, as a cushioning force dispersed the impact of his attack, Lu Ming's lips twisted into a grin as his jagged teeth was show in full display.
His grimly claws swooped down in an arc leaving deep crimson imprints on their prey.
Spark had put enough force into defence, but even that seemed to be for naught, his eyes darkened as the lacerations mended themselves, since this lunatic unleashed his Will this had gone south.
No attack was ever enough to by pass whatever force field shielded the bastard. It was as though it morphed just in time to adapt to whatever Spark threw at it!
Sparks jaw tightened 'hoe annoying!'
The scholar who seemed to be enjoying himself pushed his offensive without any regards for defence, each of his attacks unsettling, each carrying a mad efficiency that determined they met their mark.
Spark had no choice but to entangle more with his opponent, as he to plunged into a relentless assault disregarding all defence.
The clash between the two proceeded with an unhinged ferocity, each more lethal than the last, the figure of the two turned into a blur as either one would be seen occasionally flying out but the other pressed further, this pattern continued until…
'Bastard!' Lu Ming growled harshly as he seemed to have finally notice something, as he clenched his jaws in anger.
Spark face burst into a sinister smile, since he determined that their battle wouldn't end easily, and that was something he needed to do as he still had that sleeping perfect life thing gnawing at the edge of his miind.
He did the next best thing, which was to guide their fight, to the lab, that was with the havoc he and the scholar kept causing the shock waves would surely destroy whatever sinister devices the had at play.
Lu Ming beastly face squeezed into a scowl, he had never been this angry in a very long time, to think this bastard dared set his sights on his masterpiece… he deseverd to die!
But sadly that was easier said than done, as Spark was his match in every way, no matter the aspect be it speed, strength or battle IQ he kept up the pace at every turn, Spark even seemed to have an edge over himself.
He felt disgruntled he created his form out of the greatest aspect of various races, and yet he was still lacking, if not for his Will 'perfect solution' he might have long lost.
And now this bastard had led him right to the last place he wanted to battle, the place where his long awaited perfect life serum was being concoted.
He felt so furious but he knew, there was nothing that could be done at this point they were already in motion and he could only continue with the flow, or else any slight deviation could cost him… his heart clenched as he prayed desperately hoping the gene sequence extraction apparatus was already created and already in motion.
Boom!
The two burst through the last wall barrier between them and the lab!
