[Land of Lost Shadows]!

A large hill made from dark shadows suddenly began to rise from the water to lift Evon into the air, and a black substance poured out from Evon's body and filled the air around her! The sun's rays were immediately blocked out as the Arcane Attribute tore out a piece of the fabric of reality and rewrote over it! And Jason watched calmly as the black fabric stretched over his head and wrapped him and Evon in its darkness! The fire that Ragnar had unleashed on Evon slammed into the hill of shadows and vanished into the darkness, and Ragnar slammed into the base of the large hill before looking up at the top of the hill and letting out a groundshaking roar in anger!

ROARRRR!!!

The world that Jason found himself in was like nothing he had ever seen before. It was a world covered in darkness that stretched as far as the eye could see. Under his feet, it almost felt like Jason was standing in a muddy swamp, but Jason could feel that the water he stood in wasn't water at all. It was pure liquid shadow. But it was what was above that really caught Jason's attention. The sun had been blocked out by the darkness, and in its place was a large ball that shone with a dim white light. The white light flowed off the ball like tentacles writhing in the darkness, and it served as a backdrop to illuminate Evon's figure as she stood on top of the tall hill like a Lord staring down at commoners.

This was the [Land of Lost Shadows] and the most powerful Attribute from the [Lord of Shadows] Arcane Art. This Attribute was hailed as the most powerful, mainly because of the benefits it gave to whoever wielded it. The Attribute allowed its wielder to tear out a portion of reality and forge that portion into their own personal domain. Inside this domain, the wielder was granted one unbreakable law known as a 'condition'. This condition could be anything set by the wielder, and it would be imposed by the world no matter what. But the wielder had to be smart about how they imposed conditions on this world. Because once a condition is imposed, it becomes true for everyone in the world, including the user. So if a wielder imposes a condition that states that every organism will lose 10% of their strength with every second that passes, the wielder will also lose 10% of their strength with every second that passes!

But the condition granted to the user was only one of three major benefits granted to the wielder of the [Land of Lost Shadows]. Other than the condition, the 'False Sun' shining in the sky served as a crucible of power for the shadow world. As time passes, the crucible absorbs more and more energy from all the people trapped inside this world, other than the wielder. This energy is what gives the false sun its glow, and it also serves to make sure that the wielder's enemies are slowly weakened over time. And the final and most popular benefit granted to the wielder was a power known as 'Lost Shadows'.

Jason watched as a blackened hand tore itself out from the ground at the base of the hill, and it slammed into the ground as it began to pull a body from the shadowy swamp below! Another hand emerged from the swamp and began to pull another body out, and more and more hands began to appear as well. The creatures that came out of the swamp varied in body size and shape! Some of them were bulbous and large like walruses, and others were small like rabbits. There were giants in there as well, and some human-like creatures that were similar to humans but were obviously not humans. These were creatures from different worlds all around the Primordial Expanse, and they were the Lost Shadows that had once belonged to the enemies of Evon.

When the [Land of Lost Shadows] is activated and Evon kills an enemy inside this world, their body can return to the real world, but their shadow is captured by the [Land of Lost Shadows] and it becomes a part of this world. And whenever Evon comes to the shadow world for battle, she is capable of resummoning the shadows of those that she had killed and use them in battle like her own personal army! This is the reason why this Attribute is hailed as the most powerful of all three Shadow Attributes! Because unlike the other two attributes that only relied on their wielder's strength or ingenuity in using them, this Attribute gave its wielder an entire army that would aid them in battle!

The shadowy creatures continued to rise from the ground, and by the time the last of them had emerged, Jason saw that there were more than a thousand of them all around him, and he almost scoffed. So that was all Evon had in her army. One thousand soldiers? Ragnar roared angrily as one of the shadows grabbed hold of its tail, and Ragnar swung its tail to the side to get rid of it!

SLAM!

The shadow that he grabbed Ragnar was one of the humanoid-looking creatures, and it was immediately thrown off by the whiplash once Ragnar swung its tail! Ragnar spread its wings and took off as more of the shadows tried getting to him, and Ragnar unleashed a breath of fire that engulfed more than a hundred enemies at once! A large shadow beast that looked like a griffon with a wing size that was almost on par with Ragnar suddenly tore itself out from underground, and it immediately roared as it took off after Ragnar! Ragnar let out another blast of fire that the griffon barely dodged, and Jason watched the two monsters clash in the air and cause the world to shake! The griffon was strong, but it was not as strong as Ragnar, and so Ragnar grabbed the monster around the neck and held it down as he dive-bombed to the floor below!

BOOM!

While this was going on, Jason was slowly feeding some of his subordinates into the shadows to try to make them reach Evon without her noticing, but it didn't even take a second before the subordinates were attacked by Evon's shadows, and Jason clicked his tongue in irritation! So it's not possible to kill her silently. Great. Jason realized that Evon could feel anything moving through the shadows, and she would know instinctively if anything was trying to sneak up on her!

WOOSH!

BAM!

A giant shadow suddenly appeared from beside Jason and tried to bring its large club down on him, but the Sovereign appeared from the side and used its sword to slash the monster across the neck to kill it! The monster vanished in a spray of blackness, and another one immediately replaced it! The Sovereign cut down that one as well, and then the Sky King let out a loud cry as it flew out from Jason's Alternate Dimension and flew towards one of the shadows that was trying to attack Jason from behind! The Sky King slashed the monster across the back, and it let out a loud screech of its own as it took off and began to chase down the Sky King! Jason's subordinates poured out from the shadows, and Jason watched as a brutal fight suddenly erupted between the two groups. Jason noticed how some of his weaker rooks were being pushed around by Evon's shadows, and from what Jason could see, all the shadows in Evon's army were around the same level in strength. They were somewhere between S and SS Rank, and that meant that they were stronger than the Rook Rank Is and some of the Rook Rank IIs in his Legion.

'So she has a thousand soldiers that are around Rook Rank II. It'll be difficult for some of my soldiers to handle that. And I can't communicate with the Pawns I left outside the bubble, so I can't call them to help.'

Jason frowned as he realised that he couldn't sense anything outside this bubble at all. It was almost like this bubble was a different world, and everything outside it was too far for Jason's senses to reach them! But Jason decided that it didn't matter. All Jason needed to do was get to Evon. As long as Jason kills her, then all of this will end!

Jason put his hand to the side as he called on the [Death's Mirage].
