Jason knew that he could be grasping at straws here, but he didn't want to go into that hearing without at least having a reasonable case against the Overlord. The system said it would keep looking, and Jason decided to trust it.
Jaons turned as Gina spoke up from behind him.
"Jason, I just called Mum to tell her we're back. She sounded really excited, and she made me promise we'd see her before going home. Is that okay?"
Jason smiled at the mention of his mother, and he told Gina that it was fine. He didn't mind spending the day with his mum before getting back to Gate Dives and interdimensional problems. But first, he had to go and drop the superhumans off at his new guild building. Jason had been keeping an eye on Juliet and Griselda since he was in Radagan, and he saw that even though the media presentation was a disaster, that didn't mean they hadn't been doing anything. Juliet had taken the money that Jason gave her earlier, and she had set up a reasonable building for her guild, and she even hired enough staff to keep the building running. Jason couldn't deny that she was definitely doing enough to earn the insane salary he was paying her.
Jason called out to the superhumans with his comms, and they all listened as he gave instructions.
"Stick to one of my subordinates and don't let go. We're leaving."
The superhumans all agreed to Jason's words, and Jason gave a nod to both Luthor and Rufus when he saw that they were about to leave on the Enforcers' helicopter that came to pick them up. Luthor gave Jason a thumbs-up in return, but Rufus just huffed before turning away and entering the helicopter. Jason raised a brow at the strange reaction, but he didn't bother to pay it any mind as he reached out and took Riyala's hand before falling into the shadows with Gina and the rest of his guild.

[And in today's news, we have received confirmation from eyewitnesses on the ground that Jason Marc, along with his Monarch Guild, have returned victorious from their scheduled Gate Dive. We are yet to get an interview with Jason Marc, but our men on the ground are working hard to try and get a statement from him. In the meantime, an anonymous tipper has brought to our attention that Jason Marc's power has risen exponentially in the time since he entered the Gate, and they believe he is now strong enough to surpass the power level of the Five Rulers! We do not know how true this claim is, but many concerned citizens are worried about the source of this sudden increase in power and if it has anything to do with Jason Marc's ability to raise people from the dead. Worried citizens and debaters are still arguing about the dangers of Jason Marc's abilities and whether or not we need to place sanctions on his Gift in order to ensure he doesn't use it irresponsibly.]
[There are speculations and theories concerning this issue, but nothing concrete has come to light due to Jason Marc's refusal to stand before the media. Is Jason Marc a danger to any ally who partners with him, and can we truly trust him not to abuse his powers against other humans for his own benefit? Catch all this and more as soon as they drop right here. This is Cat Woods for Riverdale Morning News, signing off.]

[The Upper Districts of Riverdale.]
The Riverdale landscape was very similar to that of many other cities in America. Although there was no rampant poverty in the city, there was still a great divide that showed where the higher and lower-class civilians could be found, and that divide created the two distinct upper and lower districts of Riverdale. The lower district was where the less privileged members of the city lived. Here, you would see both the middle class, who usually rented or bought small apartments, as well as the lower class, who were too poor to stay in apartments and were either living in shared shelters or actively carrying out criminal activities in order to survive. The crime rate in the city had been very low before the discovery of Gifts and Magical Beasts, but ever since that first Gate appeared and superhumans began selling Magical Crystals and Beast corpses to the government for fortunes, there had been a great increase in the prices of houses, food, and other amenities, and this had led to many people in the lower class having to resort to criminal activities to survive.
On the other side of the city was the upper district, and this was where the rich and powerful members of the city lived. In this district, there were hardly any apartment buildings. Instead, it was filled with various estates that housed very wealthy people, as well as high-end restaurants and large skyscrapers that formed a large cluster of buildings in the eastern part of the city. This cluster of buildings was seen as the most economically important part of Riverdale because it contained every single major office building for the businesses that ran the city! This was the Riverdale Business Sector!
Just a few months ago, there had only been about thirty or so businesses that were involved in the Riverdale economic market since Riverdale hadn't been a crucial part of the country's economy, but over the past few days, there had been a recent boom in the number of businesses that were coming into the city! There were new skyscrapers being put up, and the office spaces were being sold off at such an insane rate that the prices had tripled in less than a week due to the increase in demand! It was as though every single businessman suddenly wanted to become a part of Riverdale's growing economy, and the reason for this was simple.
The Monarch Guild had chosen Riverdale as their base of operations.
In one of the large skyscrapers in the middle of the business sector, Juliet Rahpa stood at the window and looked down into the city. There were dark circles around her eyes, and she looked very tired, but she couldn't get rid of the smile on her face. Juliet was currently standing inside a large office that had a very minimalistic design. The office walls were a pure white, and the floors were tiled with a dull grey. There were couches and a TV on one side of the office, and a large mahogany table with a high-end swivel chair that could turn around to view the city skyline through the large window.
This office was what Juliet had chosen for Jason since she knew that he wouldn't want something flashy or fancy, and since Juliet was Jason's personal assistant, she would also use this office when Jason wasn't around. Juliet had been working hard for the past few days to try to make big changes in the way the world saw the Monarch Guild, and she was happy to see how well things were working out! After the horrible interview that Griselda had with the press earlier, Juliet thought that things would become more difficult since people would think that Griselda wasn't fit to run the guild, but it turned out that she was wrong! Rather than things becoming worse, it was almost like no one even cared about the interview at all, and things had only gotten better for the guild! Right now, the Monarch guild was growing faster and pulling in more attention than any other guild in the world!
