Vice waited for the shade to fill the canyon before stepping into the cave as he hid in the shadows

The sun slowly vanished behind the canyon wall as the shade touched the transparent wall, he ran

His figure unnoticeable to the eyes he appeared inside the cave, he looked around for any hidden figures as he moved with his back against the rocky dirt wall

'That goblin should be gone?' the wind blew past him as he lurked through the cave twisty path

The blue crystals on the walls glowed faintly as he walked deeper into the cave, he stopped moving hearing faint voices

"Why don't we just attack those damn slime's right now?" He peeked from behind the wall at the six hobgoblins in heavy armour and one ogre in a robe

"We already told you they are waiting for back up" the hobgoblin manning the machine gun spoke

Vice stepped closer toward the three machine guns bolted to the ground aiming in his direction

"What back up?" the ogre turned to the hobgoblin "we have an S-Rank what back up is better than that?"

"Your a fucking mage use your brain" Some hobgoblins smirked "those slimes can absorb anything and turn into it, if the S-Rank makes a mistake it will be a problem for us and..."

The hobgoblin went silent as the ogre raised its hand looking in the direction of Vice "who's there?"

'Your not expecting me to answer that?' Vice looked back to the dirt wall across him [Void step]

His stealth skill was still active as he reappeared on the other side of the wall, the machine guns turned to where he once stood

The guns glowed "should we fire?" one the hobgoblins spoke as three hobgoblins unsheathed their sword and moved in front of the mage

"No" the ogre shut its book and turned to the others

"Then since your a genius tell why don't the higher ups just send and SS-Rank hunter to overpower the slimes?" the ogre smirked at the hobgoblin

"Do you live under a rock?" Vice stepped close testing the range of the mage detection skill "the upper continents are dealing with the humans and elves, that why they can't waste man power on slimes"

The mage looked back and Vice presence instantly vanished, it went back to it's conversation

'Its range end there' he crouched down 'when I enter its range I can see to the other side of the passage'

'I can't do anything that will expose me to that S-Rank' He stepped closer trying peek past the corner at every step

The mage glanced his direction as his head peeked but Vice presence vanished and reappeared behind the machine gun [Flame spear]

Flames in the form of spear flew past the hobgoblin on the machine gun while the other gun turned in the direction on the spears and fired

"Brrrrrr.."

The cave filled up with dust as the bullets pierced the walls

"Stop" the bullets stopped flying as the ogre spoke surrounded by three hobgoblins

It looked at blackened ground were its spears landed but Vicd had long vanished before they could even touch him

"Nothing again" a hobgoblin turned to the ogre "Whats wrong with you today?"

The ogre shrugged as it narrowed its eyes looking at the drop of blood near the cave wall

"Huff..huff..huff" Vice leaned against the dirt wall struggling to cope with the constant reappearing and the bullet in his leg

'I Should have given one of those slimes Utal's body' he punched the wall as he looked at the twisty path drinking a red potions

The bullet was pushed out by his muscles as they repaired themselves, he walked down the cave using the wall as support as his mana slowly recovered

The deeper he went the wider the path, the light brightened and Vice slowed down his steps as he heard murmurs

The wind blew past him, he crouched down as the noise grew louder

He could hear the honking of cars, a faint sound of music past the voices that flooded the passage then

His eyes widen as he looked down at the buildings that stood beneath the earth ignoring the soldiers organising in front of the city

The lights flashed bright down the streets filled with cars as the pedestrians walking, he looked past the stone buildings at the building that stood at the center towering over everything reaching the ceiling that was filled with bright crystals

'How the fuck am I supposed to reach that?' he leaned closer against the cave wall as he looked at the soldiers

He jumped out of the passage and crawled along the cave wall with his back, guarding every move the soldiers made

'How am I supposed to get past the them?' he looked at the robed figure that stood between the armoured figures

He stopped moving and stretched his neck trying to look past the hordes of goblins, hobgoblins and ogres in front of him

"Tsk" he clicked his tongue 'that damn goblin couldn't just stay at front with the horde' he scanned through them hoping to find the goblin but found nothing

'I can't wait for them to move out' he kept walking along the wall 'that damn class will soon start murdering my stats'

'If I open the portal with slimes to distract them I risk my freedom' he stopped walking as he reached the end of the shade 'if open the dungeon with the mice I'll lose everything'

'Lucy must have already told them about me, diplomacy is no longer an option' Vice deactivated his stealth skill

'That S-Rank isn't here and I doubt it has a teleportation skill' He sighed as he raised his hands with his dagger in his left hand

'they don't have machine guns in front of them' He looked at the wooden boxes as the hobgoblins pointed their guns at him

The mages book glowed as many others unsheathed their sword

"Your the one that killed Utal!" The ogre at front spoke into a speaker, Vice nodded

"Any last words before you die?!" its eyes changed colour as it grabbed the hilt of its sword

"DON'T YOU WANT TO KNOW THE INFORMATION I HAVE ABOUT THE SLIMES!" The ogre smiled as he spoke

"Everyone kill him!" The ground darkened as the spells cover the light, the sound of guns filled the air as soldiers ran to Vice pointing their sword at him

Vice smiled as he vanished
