Top-class Bodyguard

Chapter 454: K

Anthony and the others were looking ahead, as Ren Feng had already come down from the second floor, staring at them with a calm expression.

At this moment, while Anthony was not paying attention, Alice suddenly kneed him in the groin. Suddenly, Anthony's hand slackened from the pain, and he collapsed onto the ground.

Alice ran behind Ren Feng.

"This kid!"

Anthony pointed towards Ren Feng. Instantly, the others wore cold smiles on their faces, rubbing their palms together as they walked toward Ren Feng.

"It seems you are still obstinate."

Ren Feng said calmly.

"Kid, don't say so much nonsense. You offended the Clay Gang, and today you'll pay the price!" Anthony said coldly.

The hooligans next to him from the Clay Gang laughed derisively as they approached Ren Feng.

Suddenly, one hooligan smashed a fist viciously toward Ren Feng's chin, and the remaining hooligans pounced on Ren Feng.

The hooligan's fist stopped mid-air, and under Ren Feng's power, it veered uncontrollably to the side.

Thud!

The punch landed on another hooligan's face.

"Jie Ao, why did you hit me?"

The guy was a bit angry, but Ren Feng had already charged forward.

"He's coming, get him!"

The hooligans shouted, not expecting Ren Feng to effortlessly take them down as if they were just there to get beaten.

Anthony was a bit dumbfounded. He gritted his teeth and with a loud shout, swung a fist towards Ren Feng.

But suddenly, Ren Feng casually grabbed a nearby golf ball and hurled it, hitting right at the edge of Anthony's lips.

Instantly, Anthony felt his teeth loosen as if they were about to fall out, and the pain spread through his mouth.

Damn it!

Clutching his mouth, Anthony was somewhat ashamed and angry, but Ren Feng swung his hand, opening the golf bag, and the remaining golf balls shot towards him.

In an instant, Anthony's expression changed. He wanted to raise his hand to block but it was too late, and the golf balls pounded his face, the intense pain causing him to stagger backwards.

The next thing he knew, Anthony tripped over the threshold and fell to the ground.

Getting up from the ground, Anthony's face was already red, and his gaze carried a tinge of fear.

The other hooligans were also terrified, scurrying frantically towards the exit.

"If I see you here again, I won't be so polite." Ren Feng's voice echoed from behind.

That man's a devil, Anthony and the others thought, shuddering in fear.

"Dear Feng, thank you."

Alice threw herself into Ren Feng's arms.

"Just a little help." Ren Feng smiled faintly.

After closing the door, Alice smiled charmingly, "Dear Feng, shall we continue?"

Ren Feng shook his head, "Not tonight."

Alice looked a bit disappointed, but Ren Feng wasn't in the mood either; he had other matters to attend to.

The next morning, while Alice was still asleep, Ren Feng got up and left.

His phone was already ringing.

"King of Mercenaries, your first teammate is at the Aurora Bar on Broadway Street, and he's done quite well for himself." Ailin's tone seemed to carry a hint of amusement.

After hanging up, Ren Feng headed to Broadway Street.

...

"Oh, dear madam, your hands are so well maintained. It's truly an honor to touch your hand."

A gentlemanly man spoke to a noblewoman in the bar, smiling sincerely while gently stroking the lady's hand.

"Really? No one has ever complimented me like that before." The noblewoman's face was full of delight, never expecting to meet such a handsome man soon after arriving at the bar.

Seeing his occasionally exposed firm muscles and his roguish smile, the noblewoman's heart fluttered, fantasizing about spending the night with him.

"Of course, madam, you're so beautiful. I'm wondering if I might have the chance to invite you to a play tonight? The Broadway Theater is showing 'Romeo and Juliet' this evening." The man leaned in with a smile.

"And more importantly, after the play, we could do things we both enjoy."

"Oh, my God, that sounds wonderful." The woman was evidently hooked.

The man's eyes held a glimmer of amusement; no woman could escape his hunt.

He went by the nickname 'K,' a Spaniard, aged twenty-five, with no real name. He was in charge of intelligence gathering within the Wind Mark Mercenary Corps, mastering various devices, escape techniques, and infiltrating enemy ranks with ease.

He also had other nicknames like "The Beast in the Flowers," adept at deception, whether it was card games, gambling, or dealing with women. K's skills were unparalleled.

K's strength was roughly within the top ten of the Sky Realm. Although he wasn't ranked on the Sky Realm list, his capabilities were truly astonishing, though most of his skill was used for escaping.

Seeing the woman in front of him was hooked, K smiled slightly, knowing he now had a place to go tonight, and importantly, this woman was from the San Francisco government; through her, he could extract a lot of intelligence.

"Then later, we can..."

"Sadly, you can't go."

A faint voice sounded.

K turned to see Ren Feng standing beside him with a cheerful smile.

K's face was surprised at first, then filled with delight.

"Oh, I've never believed in God before; it seems I need to believe this once."

K walked up with a smile and embraced Ren Feng.

"Let me introduce you, this is my friend, Ren Feng," K smiled as he turned to the noblewoman, "I'm afraid I can't join you for the play tonight as I must entertain my friend, but perhaps we can exchange contact information and meet another time."

"Of course."

The noblewoman readily agreed, exchanged contact information with K, and then left, giving K a flying kiss before departing.

Ren Feng sat by the bar and ordered a drink from the server.

"What happened then?"

Ren Feng asked.

"A trap," K said with a smile on his face, but his eyes were already filled with seriousness, "We were set up. After we got off the plane, our employer arranged to meet us at a manor to discuss details. Once we arrived, things felt wrong; we tried to retreat, but it was too late."

K took a sip of his drink and continued, "We scattered, Catherine, Black Dragon, and Fire Phoenix were caught on the spot. The others are scattered around the city, too afraid to contact each other. There are people all over the city hunting us."

"However," K smiled at Ren Feng, "now that you've come, Captain Feng, the matter should be easier to resolve."
