The King of Black Fog

Chapter 310 Sisi! My Sisi!!_2

"Alright, alright," Li Changzhou interrupted them, "let's head back to the ship first."

On the way to the shuttlecraft, Houhou kept praising the Master series to Itheri, the female doctor, and others, talking about how wonderful the engine sound was, how reassuring the cabin walls were, and how fast the speed was...

Once on the shuttlecraft, the female doctor pushed Houhou to the ground, and Itheri immediately stepped on his head.

"Ah, little honeybee," Houhou started to listen to the sound of the shuttlecraft's engine again.

Turquoise Pool and Bi had their own ships, and the crew on their ships were all high-level combat robots.

Li Changzhou heard from Itheri that the two were wandering princesses from Divine Will Great Wall, hailing from a once very prominent family.

It indeed suited their status, but the problem was...

"Bi is a princess, and your family indeed has both money and power, but why do you claim to have the same origin?" Li Changzhou chatted privately with Turquoise Pool, exchanging information since the mission had begun.

"Didn't you yourself say my surname was Zhao?" Turquoise Pool's voice carried a teasing tone.

"My apologies," judging by the voice, Turquoise Pool seemed to be able to see Li Changzhou actually clasping his fist, "I am the most handsome man in Li Village, at your service, Miss Zhao of Wei Village."

'You also claim the surname Zhao,' lived Ah Q in Wei Village.

There was only Turquoise Pool's laughter on the other end.

The two ships slowly drifted away from the berth, softly merging together in the cosmos, with the great IAO Star in the distance. One could see green pastures and the blue sea, an extremely beautiful planet.

During the merging, the ship occasionally emitted a faint blue flame, which was the ship using its thrusters for fine position adjustments.

Merging ships with each other was very common in Divine Will Great Wall.

Those who didn't want to live on the ground, or couldn't afford it, or interstellar merchants, would join their ships and construct a long-term habitable island in the cosmos.

"Not everyone likes planets. Some people think that planets are unreliable. Even though they are in motion, once they are targeted, they are as good as fixed in place, ready to be shattered at any moment. The cosmos is safer," explained Da Yi, the navigator, while piloting the ships to dock, to the captain.

After the merging procedure finished, the two ships had become as one.

Da Yi, through the Long Day Spaceship's systems, was simultaneously piloting both ships.

In the vacuum of space, the two ships exploded with a burst of white light.

In the next instant, the two ships disappeared abruptly, entering deep space and heading towards their target, Konglu Star.

After entering automatic operation, Da Yi habitually glanced at the energy meter and said, "Princess's energy is also running low. I wanted to get some liquid hydrogen pumped from them, but now we'll have to stop three times to refuel on the way."

"Hard work," Li Changzhou thought to pat his shoulder, raised his hand, and then decided against it.

Emotions are beyond control; he had no ill intentions towards Da Yi, but as a human, it was hard not to feel a physiological repulsion towards an alien species—this was not an octopus, it was a real tentacle monster!

Having a live octopus writhing on your hand is disgusting too, but still bearable.

Turquoise Pool and Bi entered the Long Day Spaceship through the docking port, followed by two small floating robots capable of firing from their footing plates.

"This is it!" Engineer Houhou approached the robots, their guns aimed at him, "The energy they use comes from a handful of miniature nuclear fire, and Konglu Star's artificial constant star is a large ring, flowing with nuclear fire too!"

During the ship merging process, Itheri had already explained the mission details.

Nobody wanted to haul off a life-bearing planet's star, but no one could refuse three hundred million Divine Will Coins—those who could refuse weren't bounty hunters.

For money, even the most divine morals had to step aside; history had proven this more than once, such as the trading and slaughtering of black slaves by white people.

Li Changzhou could refuse money, but couldn't refuse the value game.

"No need to go into the principles, just tell us what to do," Itheri interrupted Houhou, with Arnes standing beside her, the two looking as inseparable as ever.

"Uh—" Houhou stared at the holographic image of Konglu Star.

Turquoise Pool walked over to Li Changzhou, patting the back of his captain's throne, her expression saying 'not bad for yourself, huh.'

Bi treated Li Changzhou like a cushion for the captain's chair, sitting directly on top of him.

Li Changzhou pondered for a while: "Is this what it feels like to have a daughter?"

"Considering getting a daughter?" Turquoise Pool asked with a smile.

Bi's head butted back, and if Li Changzhou's physical conditioning hadn't been just that little bit better, managing to catch her in time with his hands, he would have certainly had a nosebleed.

During the trio's conversation, Houhou seemed to have thought of a method.

"Let's just barge in," the tentacle monster with the big head said, "no need to waste brain power on a planet of this level."

The female doctor said, "What if they push the constant star out on their own before we break in and take control?"

Houhou looked to Li Changzhou: "Would that count as mission complete?"

Li Changzhou contemplated it, wondering what use that big head really served.

"Right now, his head is all about the latest ships," explained the female hacker, shrugging, "Houhou is quite clever, but he can only focus on one thing at a time."

"Exactly," agreed Houhou, nodding earnestly.

Li Changzhou fell into contemplation, his hands resting on Bi's shoulders, gently squeezing—not for a massage, but simply playing with her.

Bi seemed satisfied with this, enjoying the service as if she were in a massage chair.

Itheri and the female doctor exchanged glances, not quite understanding why their captain had gotten along so well with these two so quickly. Was this the charm of the Cosmic People?

After pondering for a while, Li Changzhou said, "Let's break in, pretend to break in, keep our force at a level where they think they can resist, then—"

He turned to Itheri, "You, find a way to take control."
