As the bluish status display reflected from his face, Damien carefully scrutinized the Monsters under his command and the Skill Index. Like before the fusion evolutions, the lists had become cluttered.
But it wasn't unpleasant since the quality of monsters within his arsenal was far different from before. They were stronger, better in every way.
Perhaps the only thing he needed to do was handle the remaining first-star Summoned Monsters by having them undergo evolution. Interesting monsters fit that weak category.

The monsters he was thinking about were One-Star Terrestrial Monster: Anaconda, One-Star Terrestrial Monster: Hellhound, and Two-Star Terrestrial Monster: Direwolf.
There were also a few who could be evolved from their current form.
This was the One-Star Paranormal Monster: Shadow Hound, One-Star Paranormal Monster: Banshee, and One-Star Paranormal Monster: Onryo.
Amongst these three, Onryo held the best potential as she was summoned as an intelligent being since the beginning.
Now that he thought about it, some time had passed since he met with Yuki. The Spectre had protected New Janus well since the members of Block 7 vacated the central looming tower.
Whether it's criminal organizations, foreign corporations, or federal divisions. These outside entities have been deflected from the outskirts of New Janus, protecting the city from their influence.
After meeting with the boss, he should probably meet up with those paranormal monsters of his. Especially when they had been working hard.
"Master is really taking her time." Hecate sat in the office chair where the seventh Paragon often lounged, playing around while staring at the ceiling in boredom.
"From the chaos in the northern regions of the West Coast, it isn't surprising. With how silent the SIGIL is, the situation has become far more chaotic than ever before."
"A Paragon could have died from the conflict," Damien responded, sighing to himself as the status display continued to hover in front of him.
Hecate merely glanced at him, not giving a single response. She understood the weight of what might have happened. The consequences that they would face sooner or later.
Regardless of what occurred, the Seventh Division needed to stand together. After all, united they grow and divided they fall.
In any case, Damien focused on dealing with the Terrestrial Monsters first. Once they have evolved from their current forms, he would turn his attention towards the Paranormal Monsters.
Hellhound, Direwolf, and Anaconda... He could fuse these monsters together, but he had a feeling that they might hold more potential than he had previously expected.
Normal evolution, it was.
His decision concluded with simplicity as he commanded the system through his mind to evolve these Terrestrial Monsters.
Each of them had already gotten their evolution bar filled after participating in the war between the monster army and the Shadow Division in the northern fringes of the New World.
They were ready to evolve into their new forms. The only thing they needed was the Terror Points to fuel their evolution.
Fortunately, first-star evolution wasn't as expensive as fusion evolution or two-star evolution. It was the cheapest the system could get.
Damien closed his eyelids as a single thought pervaded his mind. What followed was the chime of notifications bombarding him.
Affirmative, progressing monster evolution of First-Star Terrestrial Monster: Anaconda, First-Star Terrestrial Monster: Hellhound, and Two-Star Terrestrial Monster: Direwolf...
4,000 Terror Points deducted! Failed... 3,245 Terror Points accumulated! 755 Terror Points in Credit!
Congratulations, evolution was a success!
You have received Two-Star TE Monster: Garmr
You have received Two-Star TE Monster: Great Serpent
You have received Three-Star TE Monster: Fenrir
The notifications that bombarded him were, to say the least, interesting. After all, for the first time since his awakening in a random intersection of Brooklyn.
He was finally in debt.
Evolution required 4,000 Terror Points to be completed, as each first-star summon needed a thousand while a second-star monster demanded two thousand.
Since his current reserve of Terror Points was merely numbered around 3,245 Terror Points, he owed the system 755 Terror Points for the completion of the evolution.
His lips curved into a subtle smile as he shook his head and sighed in melancholy. Hecate noticed his strange behavior and raised her eyebrows, intrigued.
"Anything wrong?" she inquired, but he only lowered his head and sighed once again. "Have you ever been in debt? It doesn't feel good at all."
"Why would I be in debt? I do not buy something beyond what I saved up. Besides, why would you ask that question? Are you in debt?" Hecate looked intently at her partner.
Damien avoided her gaze and grunted. "All of us are nothing more than ordinary people. And normal people sometimes get into debt. There's nothing wrong about that."
"Well, it's not like it matters. You merely won't be able to buy anything without handling that debt of yours first." Hecate looked away and continued staring at the ceiling.
He turned his eyes towards her and mumbled. "Not being able to buy anything, huh? I guess you aren't wrong about that."

Meanwhile... Somewhere in the New World, a gorgeous white-haired lady was surrounded by multiple black-suited men. One of them stepped forward, wearing clothing different than the others.
"Where are you hiding the murderer of the sixth Paragon?" It was a simple question, yet it carried weight that made the air freeze.
The black-suited men tensed their bodies, waiting for the response of the encircled beautiful lady in front of them.
Her supple lips curved into an arrogant smirk as she narrowed her pearl-like gaze. "Oh, and if I don't tell... Are all of you willing to fight me?"
An arrogant remark, but it brought about a sense of oppression that made whatever tense atmosphere they held before meaningless.
The one in front of them was the seventh Paragon, the strongest of humanity, Alastair Glass.
She was the partner of the Rogue Blade, the murderer of the sixth Paragon, Dante Espada. In simpler terms, an accomplice.
"You know..." She took a step forward, while the black-suited men unconsciously took a step back. Their leader frowned, standing his ground.
But even he felt the oppression emanating from her. It was different from his master, Dante Espada. It was arrogant, dominating, and ruthless.
To be expected from the strongest of humanity.
"I can defeat all of you with a single snap of my fingers. If you want to fight me... At the very least, you would have to be a Paragon."
"So, let me ask you a question?" Alastair tilted her head, but the leader of the black-suited men gestured an attack order.
Without any hesitation or delay, the Jaegers of the Sixth Division utilized their Brands. Unfortunately for them, it was already too late.
She snapped her fingers, and reality shattered like a mirror. In an instant, the surroundings became desolate of anything and anyone.
Except for the Block 6 Second-In-Command standing in the center of the empty wasteland.
