Reawakening Heir: The Legendary Mage of Forgotten Era

Chapter 146: Filler Chapter- Only some reveal reading it not important.

Old man's eyes widened in shock. As he was about to speak, he shivered a little. A quiet uneasiness drifted through the room, carried by the crackle of the chimney fire. His sharp gaze dropped onto Ana's face. With a voice heavy from years of experience, he spoke slowly:

"Tales of the Grand Era… no one dares to ask about them. You are one of the rare few who wish to know. Only the Tideborns—criminals, wanderers, or the deeply curious ever search for that history."

He spread his arms wide, like an eagle opening its wings to the night sky, and embraced the warmth of the pink fire. His gaze lifted upward, his eyes closed, as if he were feeling something both confident and comforting.

"The Grand Era… was the time when our great hero lived—Mahavanga. He was the savior, the one who stood against the Beasts of the Third World. Those creatures carried strength unimaginable to mortals. They grew larger as they ascended… until a few Alpha Beasts became so vast, they could fly beyond the earth's skies, bigger even than the world itself."

Ana's eyes widened. A wave of unease washed over her—discomfort crawling up her spine. Her head shook, as if horror itself had knocked on her door, carrying a black sword ready to strike her.

The old man noticed her tension and smiled softly, easing her fear.

"Oh, haha… calm down. The Third World will not attack us again. Mahavanga… and Ryuki… they saved us from that fate. The Grand Era ended five hundred years ago. If those beasts were to return, they would have done so long before now."

Silence lingered, the air heavy with history. Then Ana's voice slipped out almost on its own:

"Do you know about Ash Phantom?"

The old man tilted his head, confused. "No… who was that? I have never heard such a name."

Ana leaned forward, her tone sharper. "Then… do you know any other names from that era?"

The old man stroked his chin, thinking deeply.

"Ryuki was believed to be the King of Winland. He marched with armies at his back. Mahavanga, too, stood as a great pillar. But beyond them, there were other names… Shealzii, Malon, Aamani, Rockdon, Albat… They appear in old theory books. Yet no one is certain if they lived at the same time. It is a collection of fragments… scattered data gathered by historians from far-off towns and cities. Still… these names remain the most prominent."

Backstory of Auren Ryuki - for reminding..

Ryden rushed into the room like a storm, his cloak trailing behind him. His eyes locked onto Veon—collapsed, trembling, drenched in sweat and sorrow.

"Veon!" Ryden dropped to his knees, gripping his son's shoulders tightly. He shook him gently but desperately. "Veon, look at me. What's going on? Where's Kaen?"

Veon slowly lifted his tear-streaked face. His lips quivered. His voice came out like a whisper laced with guilt and heartbreak.

"Father… Kaen…"

Ryden's eyes widened. "No… don't say it—don't say it, Veon."

"I couldn't protect him," Veon cried, breaking down. "I couldn't protect my little brother. I was right there… and I couldn't move. I—"

His voice cracked. His fists clenched. He lowered his head, broken.

At the entrance of the room, Auren stood frozen. The light from the hallway fell over his face, but his eyes were dark, clouded with shock.

"Kaen?" Auren whispered.

His knees weakened. Tears slid silently down his cheeks.

The name echoed in his ears again.

"Kaen…"

Auren's body trembled, unable to take a step forward. Everything inside him screamed.

"Kaen? No more…?"Tears rolled faster. "Kaen… no more?"Again, as if repeating it would change the truth. "Kaen… no more?"

In the kitchen, Lisa lost control, smashing utensils, screaming, "This can't be true!"

Ryden ran to her, heart racing. He grabbed her tightly, pulling her into a desperate hug. Both of them cried—loud, broken, uncontrollably.

Back in the room, Veon sat still… hollow… unmoving. Grief drenched the walls.

And at the entrance… Auren stood frozen, like the world had stopped spinning. His breath forgot to exist. Eyes wide."Kaen…?"

Tears dripped down Auren's face, his breath becoming shallow and uneven. His chest rose and fell in stuttering gasps.

Veon stood up, trembling—his expression carved with desperation and rage. His fists clenched. His breathing turned heavy. "I will devour Yuzen... I will tear them apart," he growled, eyes blazing. "They'll drown in blood... they'll scream the way we screamed!"

He stormed out of the room—only to stop when he saw Auren standing silently near the door.

Veon's red, furious eyes locked onto him.

"Why are you here?!" he shouted, voice shaking with wrath. "I'll kill you! You don't deserve to live here! We don't need you!"

Auren didn't move.

Tears still slipped from his cheeks as he looked up at Veon, his voice soft, broken."Brother… is Kaen… really gone?"

Suddenly, Ryden appeared, storming out of the kitchen. The fury in his steps thundered like a marching beast. He didn't look at Veon. Didn't blink at Auren's tears.

From that heavy moment, Auren began his journey in real life to Hollow Mountain.

And when Auren unknowingly used his vitara. for the 1st time.

******

Screams echoed across the ship. Many stood frozen, their eyes widened in pure shock.

The snail-like sea monster let out a terrifying roar — its voice echoed violently through the ship. It lunged forward, its massive head coming fast, ready to strike.

But in that moment… something inside Auren changed.

His eyes closed tightly."When I'm here… how can you torture someone? When I'm here… I won't let you kill anyone."His teeth clenched. His body trembled. His head vibrated as if energy surged within him.

Vivi, watching closely, stared at him with growing unease.

"Auren… what's happening to you?" she whispered, worried.

Without a word, Auren placed one hand on the railing. And in a blink, he jumped from the balcony.

"AUREN!!" Vivi screamed, her eyes wide in disbelief.

Midair, Auren opened his eyes. Flash — THUDDD!

Silence. A quiet moment froze across the ship.

Then —A burst of purple and pink energy exploded from Auren's eyes like a divine flare. Ravi, watching from his balcony, was struck speechless by the sensation.

The sea monster stopped. It let out a furious, painful scream…And then — it retreated.

The beast vanished beneath the water, its massive body trembling as it sank below the waves.

Everyone on the ship stood frozen.

Someone shouted, "LOOK! That boy… he did something. He used his power for a moment…"

Another voice echoed: "He saved us… but he's unconscious now!"

"Auren, are you okay? Hey… wake up!"Look, look—he blinked!"

Auren's eyes fluttered open. Everything was blurry. He groaned. "Ugh… the pain…It's in my head. What… just happened?"

He slowly looked up.

He was lying on the open deck. Around him stood Vivi, Ravi, her mother, and a crowd of people — all staring at him with wide eyes.

The sky above sparkled with stars and distant nebulae. It was around 6:40 PM — night had just begun to settle.

"What did I do…?" Auren mumbled, holding his head."Why am I in pain, Vivi?"

Vivi leaned down beside him, her smile gentle and full of pride."You saved us all, Auren."

Auren looked confused. "Saved you? How? What just happened?"

And to now. When Auren noticed his vitara, in the battle of ramuza.

Where he hung high on the ceiling of the giant hall, by the black fog created by aazin.

*****

The black fog crept closer, covering Auren's mouth. Dax couldn't reach him—Auren hung high, almost touching the ceiling. His breathing came heavy, eyes turning pale. Then, a sudden smile broke across his face and a shout came out, full of hope.

"Nova— you can do this again. I believe in you. Create as many giants as you can—this is your fight.""Dax—why did you stop? Slice every bit of them. I know how strong you are.""Nyra—you're a summoner, right? You can't have just one summon. I want to see them all. I know they'll be cool."

Vivi screamed, voice breaking, "Auren, don't die. I don't want to lose you."

Auren laughed—soft, fierce. "Hehehe—do you think I'll go down like this? No way, Vivi. We will win." His eyes went wide, feral. "I don't know what it is…but something inside me is dancing—something so deep, so powerful it feels like it will tear my body. Slowly, I am understanding this raw force. My eyes can channel it, even if only a little."

A purple flame emerged from Auren's eye. His whole body shifted with that sight, trembling with violent energy. That force raged through him so fast it tore the black fog apart, shredding it into nothing.

A sudden splash echoed through the wind, like thunder snapping inside the hall.

Aazin jerked back a little, shock flashing across his face."Is this… the raw force of Vitara?" he whispered to himself.

No one else there understood what they were seeing. But Aazin, Ryzin, and Voslimo knew. They recognized it instantly. That…

The journey of Vitara and it's vastness is still remains.

There is more to Vitara and Vita you will see in future.
